Let people know it's 100 dollars deposit when renting a truck because I didn't know because the day before the guy said just 92 dollars and prepared my self to just pay that and to get the rest from my boss other than that it is a great place

Jairo PTrailer was in poor condition and broke down on the journey. I will not trust that the equipment will be road worthy and conduct a personal mechanical inspection before I ever accept another unit I feel that it was negligence that contributed to my breakdown

RICHARD HRepresentatives at this uhaul refused to answer questions or listen about the first failure with transport trailer, they had no answer and ignored me put me on three way call to a manager and he IGNORED me . last time to use Uhaul.

MARLENE EWe tell U-Haul our destination they tell us how many miles you are gonna use. But if we sue less for instance 50 mile difference they charge us the same. If it's just a few miles that's ok no big deal but 50 miles. Then if you pass the miles you were given they charge us $1 a mile. Something wrong there.

THOMAS DWe dropped three different types of rentals, car hauler, tow behind and a 26' truck. The truck part the employee was rude unhelpful and tried charging us for things we didn't even do. Would not allow us to return unused boxes and was charging us for the blankets unless we folded them. Very rude and unhelpful.

Lisa HNot a fan of the app experience. Whether it was the lack of WIFI at the location or the design of the app, it took forever for pages to load and finally just got in line. I've deleted it and wouldn't use it again, for sure. The truck showed a bit of age and had some cosmetic items that should have been addressed and fixed. The drivers side visor clip was out of place and the visor wouldn't attach to it. If I had to drive the truck for a long distance, this would have been extremely annoying to deal with.

Jakiera GPicking up the truck and checking it out took a good amount longer than I anticipated. I don't think this was a staff issue. There are just a lot of steps in checking it out and on my particular unit the walk around and taking pictures took quite a while. Also, that truck once I got in and drove it smelled really heavy of cigarette smoke. I forgot to mention that when turning it in but something in the air System smells really rough. I did appreciate the help and flexibility in me extending my rental time a little bit because moving took considerably longer than anticipated.

STEPHEN AThe employee checking me out was partly helping another employee with a customer and me at the same time. Then she stated I had to get the insurance even though I told her I declined it online. She became argumentative with me. The other employee even stopped assisting her customer to talk to me (talking loudly from across the room instead of walking over to me) about the insurance. Finally, I selected no on the keypad and we proceeded with my payment. I feel bad for the other customer who was abandoned mid-transaction and had to hear my personal details.

ANA CAdd extra mileage to contracts . I got charged 45 miles extra because I made 1 extra stop to sleep at my daughters house instead of giving right the highway at a hotel . Then when I dropped it off they didn't take time to check it in until the next day! Then just charged my card.
CHRISTY MI requested a drop off location away from downturn, because I did not want to maneuver an RV & tow dolly downtown. I was given verbal confirmation of an address for return that was not downturn, & was told that I could return to any location, but when I checked the paperwork right before drop-off, (It was emailed, not printed), it had a downtown address. I went to my chosen location & they refused to take the return & told me to go downtown. They were completely dismissive of my concern about having to maneuver the equipment through small downtown streets. So what did I end up doing? Exactly the only thing I requested to not have to do. Driving that equipment through downtown. I am very unhappy with this issue. The only reason my answers above are positive is that the pickup experience was amazing. The staff went above & beyond any rental service I've received before. It was the screwup with the assigned return location that ruined this experience.

And this location rocks, they're on top of their job. And I really enjoyed running from them. I would rent from them over and over. And I would recommend them to any of my friends and family.

Alma L | Expérience généraleI like the storage unit itself. However the manager I think her name is Jennifer, was absolutely horrible. When you are one date late making the payment they put a lock on the unit, that's understandable. So this happened to me, I paid it and about 11 days after I paid it we made a trip to our until around 8:30,9pm. Once we got there and we lived over an hour away, the lock was still ON there. They have 24-36 hours to remove it once you pay. So I called Jennifer because her number was listed if something was wrong. Well she was extremely rude saying you should've paid on time and I can't do anything for you tonight and just had so care in the world. So we headed home couldn't do anything about it and being upset wasn't going to work. Well this happened to us about 5 more times, same thing. Yeah I know I should've learned my lesson about going after work but that's the only time I got. So needless to say the other employees are great and welcoming and want to help, but Jennifer doesn't deserve to have the title of a manager and better yet work with the public.

Did that over the phone with someone who reminded me it was free and just needed my card on file for the reservation and that I'd get a link to complete the process. The link to complete the process also asked for my card and stated the $149 total was due right then. My wife called and we were told that doing the process in person wouldn't have done that but that doing it online does charge and we'd have to see about the refund once we arrived to the location. We were 7 hours away so by the time we got there they were already closed. Thankfully Dave at Haltom City U-Haul helped us out with that process but ultimately the storage unit was not big enough to fit everything and needed a 2nd unit so spent that money at U-Haul anyways. So a big thanks to Dave at Haltom City for being helpful and patient with us during this move.

I was frustrated and worried because I had a tow truck onsite with the large toolbox, ready to be moved in. Chase was SO HELPFUL. He searched to see if there were any other units onsite that would work, unfortunately there were not. He called another location up the road and they were able to accommodate the large toolbox. He got all my info transferred over while I headed to the next location. He turned what could have been a not so great experience into an amazing one. I really appreciate the time he took to help me out! And although I didn't really work with anyone else, the other staff members that were helping others, were also so friendly and patient. It is a great group of people that work at this location.

Jordan T | Expérience généraleAbsolutely horrible experience when we originally moved into a unit on December 29th not one member of the staff was able to help us I ended up having to do the rental online in front of them. A week later when we try to gain access to our unit our access code no longer worked. We then had to deal with Jennifer who gave us a card to access storage area. Upon arrival of the unit we were assigned via e-mail we find our units lock had been cut and was left unsecured. Had to go back to Jennifer who was very snide and unapologetic and all she did was tell us it was our fault and we did check in wrong and we had moved into the incorrect unit number. Why on gods green earth would we pick a random storage unit on the opposite side of the building rather the the unit number that uhaul email sent!?! Made the comment that she takes one day off a year and this happens. How is it our fault that we followed what the emails stated and did not receive any help from her side of the counter!?! My experience shows that she is a poor owner/operator and has inept staff if she could not train them to do what appears to be a simple task of a storage check in since they are in the moving and storage business. The only person that had a clue on the day we actually moved in was the housekeeper

From I-820 E., Exit 19A, then turn Right on to Hwy 377, and then immediately turn Left to enter the facility on the Left side, and have to cross the solid yellow lines, and across the busy Highway. One in fact yelling about how he was approached outside impeding traffic. Another upset about how it was communicated he was at fault for not reading their policy. Understaffed and poorly trained in customer service. After emptying my unit, I had to wait another 45 mins just to close out my unit. I understand the process I waited on takes more than 5 mins but, almost 2 hours is unacceptable. The tone in the facility was dread after the 10 min mark

He is the one that offers the cheapest price. He was suppose to send me 2 people at 5:15. No one arrived until 8:30. Then only one arrived. The owner said he felt bad and if I would give him a 5 star rating he would give me a free day. I needed movers on Friday and the owner did not respond to me all week. He is a crook and does not keep his word. Since your facility is top notch you should get rid of this mover and his multiple moving companies. He does not represent the high standards you work so hard to maintain. Get rid of him. He is trash just throw his company in your dumpster.

I received a call a few weeks ago and they informed me I needed to pay for my storage, I explained the situation the person seemed embarrassed and I assumed it was over ,then last week I get a call to inform me that my storage is going to auction the next morning I told the girl the story she also sounded embarrassed but She was new and told this and said let me talk to the manager who said we'll u left a lock on it so we can't open it, I told her it was empty but she insisted that it must go for auction so I was like..ok auction it !( it's air)! The manager then said she will call me after the auction but that never happened and now I have a survey to fill out, smh Get it together people!!

jairus b | Premières impressionsU-haul is a nice and clean place. But two thing I didn't like was, that it takes me about 20 to 35 minutes to talk to the person there, when I try to call. It's a long wait just to speak to someone there. And another is that the rates keeps going up every year. I started at somewhere around $95 and end up at $139,95 a month and going up again. That's the reason why I got out. I was there for at least 6 years. Other then that the Place is clean and nice.

Also the did not make it clear that f I would be getting a refund on the two extra months I paid for they we are not using. We left last day of September so Need refund for October and November.

I was insisting that I was coming from another state and that I needed a storage to leave my stuff, so he started looking for some availability on the system and finally he gave me 2 storages 10x10 and paying more than expected. Totally disappointed !

I would give a five star rating but the access and security system for the storage units has a lot of room for improvement. I came at 8:45PM with my first load. The access gate let me in but an alarm sounded when I removed my lock. I tried to leave but the exit gate kept saying access denied and would not let me out. I called the emergency number on the exit gate twice but no one answered so I left voicemails. I called the police to make sure they weren't already on their way since the alarm was going off. I eventually ended up having to climb your 8 foot fence in a dress with slippery dress sandals, jump over the other side, open the entry gate, run back to my car and drive it out the entry. You may want to consider adding a security guard during access hours to help out in those types of situations or possibly having a backup emergency phone number posted.
