Check in was ridiculous. Why make me do it on phone while guy is sitting behind counter eating bfast. It took 5x as long. Will never return until you change check in status.

Honesty and integrity.. You can start by eliminating the fraudulent extra charges. Then ,the catchphrase....you should have taken a photo...... Charged for gas even though I returned it as I was instructed. Why would I be responsible for following instructions of your workers. The fraudulent set up is all too obvious now..The only saving grace is that the fraudulent charges did not bankrupt me. However., those actions surely will bankrupt YOUR business . One customer lost...forever

Process was very lengthy and the app kept requesting additional phone numbers as contacts (I gave four total). Send email confirming how the process works sooner than the morning of pick-up. I had no time to read and process the information before picking up the UHaul.

OSCARD CAMPOSThey were very helpful, the trucks were in great shape, and they have a lot of different boxes and supplies. The U-Boxes are great for temporary storage until they are shipped down to Florida. It was a very good experience.
Ray McClure1) I suggested to check in at the counter, to have a smoother and understandable process and together inspect the car. 2) they directed me to scan the QR code and wouldn't assist me in anyhting. Was there for over 30-45 minutes while employees just hung out there. 3) the truck had only 1/4 of Gas, I put about 4 Gallons ($10 of gas) 4) I choose to go to a Uhaul les than 1 mile from me, but they changed it to 5 miles from the original location, causing my trip to be 10-15 miles more 5) they claim is used more than 8 gallons of gas on only a 30 mile trip. I only moved a dresser. That couldn't cause the truck to use 5 miles per Gallon. 6) to be charged for Gas and then $40 for returning it below 1/4 is sad.

George CarterI hated that we had to wait to get to location to checkin, THEN we had to answer a million questions via the phone, and then wait for approval before hoping in truck. not everyone coming to rent a uhaul drives their car to the uhaul center. So we were standing in the cold for a considerable amount of time. And then returning the item-- a lot of questions to answer. This is not a complaint for this specific location--

FITZ-ARTHURL BROWNI received a 5x9 trailer that was covered completely in bird crap. The front d rings were useless since they were unable to move & one especially stuck against the front wall. I made do with what I had to but the point of renting the trailer was to make it easier of a transport. Because I couldn't use the d rings I had to use the straps on the upper bars & since the trailer was covered in bird crap I have to clean those straps off because they rubbing against the crap, same as my jacket, I couldn't move around without rubbing up against an area without bird crap. Upon return, I told the manager exactly the situation, & all they said was sorry & thank you have a good day Very disappointed I will not go to that location again, I will go further to floral park next time since they keep their equipment clean & completely functioning. I.wish I went there instead
Donald HaassStorage is sketchy, the after hours help line number never gets picked up, the staff is poorly educated and of no help. It seems like People are living out of the storage containers there and there are many sketchy characters there. I would not suggest this location to anyone. The manager will never pick up his phone. One of the access doors doesn't work. Terrible location

Oneil Denton | Premières impressionsexcellent value overall. however i was expecting a much larger unit on the ground floor level to accommodate my very full 20 foot uhaul truck what i was offered was the same size as rvc had offered me. walter was knowledgeable and helpful. his assistant (?) was much less so ( may i suggest a pay raise to increase employee engagement and additional training on how to please and satisfy customers queries) what saved this deal ( we were going to go someplace else entirely) was that Walter sold me side by side units. Walter deserves an even bigger pay raise. Thank you, Walter.

I was with Uhaul Hempstead for approximately nine years, and the mice issue has gotten worse. The rent increases every few months, and nothing has been done to correct the mice issue. The staff is excellent. The facility is cleaned but only cleaned to mask an issue.
