Customer service workers were rude and disrespectful!!! I would not recommend this one to anyone until they get rid of the lady that was there on Sunday and the first guy that we dealt with on Monday! Maybe they should have a training on how to treat customers. Not very professional to have earbuds in while helping customers. If they hate their job so much they should find another one, because it doesn't look good for this location or company!!

RICHARD SI don't like that the main glass to the storage area door closes at 7PM it's an inconvenience it shoukd at least be open until 9 PM . Plus there is no door stop to keep the door open , so you have to try and use carts to hold the door open otherwise you have to keep swiping your card .

THOMAS AMy only issue was the truck was parked in a line of trucks with a line of trucks behind it. Barely enough room to get the truck out. It was difficult especially for people who do not drive trucks on a consistent basis.

LAZARO Dcustomer service was lagging. I had a prepaid pick up and given a key and told to go out on the lot and find its back there somewhere . I have used uhaul over twenty times and my equipment was always running with temp control adjusted for the weather.

DAVID BThe truck I rented surged and would not down shift correctly causing it not to stop when braking , surging me into traffic twice. I had to put the truck in neutral to avoid an accident at every stop light on my 3,5 hour trip. I called uhaul to request a credit. Deangelo said it sounded like equipment failure but would forward this to the field supervisor. Brandon from Hendersonville called me and said the initial inspection on the truck was fine, but would get back to me on a credit. So, we shall see…..

Parking lot jammed with no room for customers. Storage unit customers who hire moving Co's monopolize the elevator & take all carts, no allowing others to use. Moving co's employees intimidate customers and are quite rude. Mgmt must address this!

But the rebuild process was a little slow and it was pretty inconvenient for a while with a down elevator and no other options to get to the 3rd floor. Im sure its more of a logistics problem than anything but it would be so nice to have a regular elevator as opposed to just the freight elevator. Not everyone is considerate enough to close the gates when they use it so others can get out/in. This is not why I left, I am simply moving out of state now. I am extremely happy with the value and service I recieve from this locations team always. Santé!
AMANDA A | Expérience généraleMost of the staff were very nice and helpful. That's the end of anything good. My disappointment comes in the fact that the units are NOT climate controlled, due to the tornado, I assume. Yet they are still advertised as such and charged accordingly. My sister has a unit elsewhere that costs way less and is 10 times nicer - clean, climate controlled, twice the height in the unit, so that you're not constantly hitting your head on the sprinklers. All my boxes and couch got damp and stinky in just 2 months. I hope my couch isn't ruined. So disappointing that I wasn't told upfront about the lack of climate control, as it's too late once you move across the country and have people there waiting to help you unload. It's just deceitful. And to charge $175/mo. for it is ridiculous. I will not do business with U-Haul again because of this blatant deception.

David B | Premières impressionsWe got the storage unit to help us prepare to move from an hour away. We have the code to access the unit after hours. It doesn't work. We called the after hours help number posted on the building but that guy doesn't work there anymore. We tried the 800# but it was all about truck rentals. I used the live chat and was told they were sorry but there was nothing that they could do to help us. We lucked out that someone was knew someone who worked there driving past saw us and stopped to check on us. They got us in touch with an employee who was very wonderful and was able to help us get into our unit.

It was literally above my head, so everyone kept hitting their head on the large sprinkler hanging down right at the middle of the front of the unit. The door didn't line up with the framing to be able to put the lock on and it was made out of plywood. Due to the lack of room because of limited ceiling height, we ended up having to take a good portion of my things to my sister's unit in Murfreesboro, which have us almost twice the space due to the ceiling height.
Sheri R | Premières impressionsI was not given the correct units, U-Haul customer service refused to help me until the next day, I was forced to repack my truck and leave, I was forced to move the following day with less help and in the rain, I sprained an ankle losing my footing on the wet ramp, I missed work due to having to move the following day Saturday instead of Friday so I lost money. I would like to be refunded the money from my rental. Rental and mileage. Absolutely unacceptable customer service. The only thing that will fix this is a full refund.

If he hadn't been so lazy and incompetent before calling me and sending me into an emotional roller coaster telling me that my antique heirlooms that I'm saving for my grandchildren, were discarded, then maybe we wouldn't be filling out this survey now.

Some customers may not shut the exterior & interior doors of the freight elevator stranding other people. We got stuck almost 45 minutes waiting. We finally reached the staff & THEY were able to help us out by running up the stairs & properly shutting the elevator for us. Also, the Staff were SUPER helpful clearing a spot for our long trailer to unload. HIGHLY recommend this U-Haul.

Was scheduled for 11:15 for Hendersonville, TN but was changed Madisonville, TN for 11:15, but the storage unit I was loading out of was Hendersonville. I accepted the 1:30 PM at Hendersonville; however, the truck didn't show until after 2:05 PM. The elevator delays the rest of the day were time consuming and a large constraint to load the truck by myself. Thank goodness I didn't hire loading help since the elevator delays meant the helpers would have been standing around for over an hour. I ended up finish loading, but it was after 7:00 PM and I still needed to connect the transporter that no one showed me which one to connect so I stayed the night costing more money and time. The next morning I came back and checked out of 2098 and picked up the transporter. One of the Associates helped me hook up the hitch; however, the other said I would have to pay an additional $20 fee to load my vehicle onto the transporter. I said forget that and I did it myself, ask a gentleman that was loading his truck to help guide me on the ramp. I made all the connections myself.

Corinne S | Expérience générale!!! I cut my foot pretty badly on the remains of a metal sign post in front of the parking spot closest to the storage unit doors. Bad enough to require a trip to a doctor. Please fully cut that down or cover it with concrete or something to prevent other people from suffering the same fate !!! Other than that everything was ok. Moving sucks so it's hard to gush about a great experience, but all the staff were friendly and helpful, the resources like free carts and the free box stack made a huge difference, and the place was clean and felt safe for moving late at night to avoid the summer heat.

I am hoping all my furniture and washer and dryer will fit or I will have to rent another storage unit. The unit I rent doesn't look like it will hold everything but maybe it will.

He has no people skills and refused to research what I told him happened & instead said I owed him money when I only had the storage space for 2 weeks on what was supposed to be my 1 free month. It's not cool having the manager basically infer you're telling a lie & being told file a action report which I did & he had to eat crow bc I was correct. The storage space hinge was broken when I went to put lock on and lock wouldn't go on bc of door hinge so I asked U-Haul worker to uncheck me out of the system & he agreed. I found out 3/03/22 he had not checked me out and a 3nd U-Haul worker said he'd fix it in the computer with the correct move in date which I found out wasn't corrected when Ray called me back claiming I owed money. I checked out early & will NEVER use U-Haul again I'm any capacity bc of the horrible way they treated me. Oh and his workers hung up on me when they called me and I asked the to wait a simple minute and when called out on it in person he said that was him but didn't even apologize. Run - don't think of using U-Haul storage in Hendersonville TN.

Plus I had to wait over 10 minutes for the person who took it up to let me use it. They kept it to load there stuff from their storage. Bad system. Because of that I would not recommend this facility

The debt card on file was compromised and I ask for Ty Mc Connell to call me back and it never happened. He doesn't work there nor does Anthony. I called Ray Ray and left a message because because he is never available and failed to call me back to resolve. I have been going through chemo and radiation as well as two surgeries only to discover that I had three home evasion. I will provide documentation if needed . I am a 100 % disabled Vietnam Veteran female and widow of same. We were both injured severely which resulted in his death and my illness. A majority of the items in storage are property of Aaron's rental and if sold, will be considered theft and result in a hosts of problems for U-Haul. I need to get my medical equipment, documents and keepsakes out as soon as I am able to travel, with assistance, of course. Adult Protective Services and my caretakers are urging me to reach out to the press. I would like a last opportunity to resolve this matter with U -Haul. Ronne J | Expérience généraleThe fact that the facility only has one elevator is really inconvenient. People would leave the elevator open on a higher floor and you couldn't even get to your unit. They need to have stairs within the facility. Also, we were never taught or shown how to use the elevator and although we figured it out on our own, we did have it malfunction on the day we moved out, which was really scary. The staff there has a few, at best, "nice" workers but for the most part, they are lazy and never want to answer questions or help you. Someone should be by the elevator helping people with it if it's held up on a different floor and they should really be paying attention to the cameras for when something does go wrong. I would never recommend this facility to anyone due to only have one elevator and no stairs.
