Gas needle was set on full. When I finished, I carried truck back and filled truck to the F mark where it was when I got truck. I was told it was not full and charged 40 extra. I reported this and got zero customer support. Also, mileage was figured so close that after I exited to get gas, I was charged an extra mile! Unbelievable!! This is a shame. Fix the driver door so it closes easily. Has to be slammed to actually lock. The vehicle was a long way from the key box... maybe have one key box station for items on that side of the building? All was good.Randall M.

I was harassed in the parking lot by a man who threatened to kill me and was arrested only minutes later without my notifying the police. Additionally, I had to wait for over thirty minutes for the rideshare employee to approve my license.Chris K.

My first vehicle transmission stopped working. I came to get another U-Haul vehicle and found out a worker knew the first vehicle had issues, and they still had me use the vehicle. This endangered my family's lives and our possessions. The second vehicle also had engine issues as well (did not sound good at all).Cameron V.

Having never used the online check-in, it was a little confusing. When you tell someone all they need is to pick up their truck is their drivers license and a mobile phone, it sounds super easy. However, there was a whole lot more to it than that we had to figure out.Chris E.

Overall I was really happy with this location, but when I picked up a tow dolly in the morning the customer service left a little to be desired. I think the employee I interacted with was just tired. When going through the process of renting a dangerous piece of equipment good communication is vital and I don't feel like I got that.Andrew B.

Booked my reservation a week in advance and when the time arrives to pick up they do not have any trucks available due to overbooking the truck. No discount and no sympathy for a system error on Uhaul. Terrible customer experience and will never use them again and will make sure everyone I know is aware of the situation as wellAdam P.

I was dropping off the vehicle, making sure that everything was correct after I left and I was trying to give the keys to a worker, no one was at the desk. So I walked around back and gave the keys to a worker who obviously wanted nothing to do with me. He was not nice.Casey E.

On this occation, I was charged for 70 miles when there is absolutely NO WAY that is true. I added up the milage I drove with google maps and it wasn't more than 50. I would advise for everyone to take a picture of the mileage everyone they go. Also, on another occasion,I was charged "cleaning service" for leaving ONE small paper in the truck. I am not exagerating. The "manager" looked in the system and said there was a note thst indicated i left a paper in the the truck. I will be using another Uhaul center my next time.Karina G.

We were extremely pleased with our experience with U-Haul. The cargo van was just what we needed, and the staff was courteous and efficient. It took no time at all to get our van and get on the road, even though there were several people waiting in line when we got there. The van was in good working order and was very affordable. I will be sure to go to U-Haul, Hendersonville, Tennessee, whenever I have moving needs.Deborah W.

Layout was confusing, hard to find entrance, directions unclear, part of the entrance way blocked by other rentals on the main road so we had to cut through another parking lot. Very helpful when I had to get my vehicle onto the car hauler. Made sure that everything was secure and good to go! Made me feel safe and good about my almost 1000 mile journey ahead of me!! Was diligent and very thorough about my contract/bill, and made sure that any discounts I had were added and calculated to the invoice. Good experience overall. Everything was great other than once I returned the truck they checked it in and said everything was fine and gave me my total due that would be charged to my card. I've ended up being charged 883,8 and there is no way that's correct and it also isn't the total that I was given when I returned the truck. The car carrier trailer above the trailer wheels may need maintenance. Even the customer service agent that checked in the equipment even made a comment that the metal covering above the trailer tire did not loosen like it was supposed to do. He loosened it with a wrench on a nut on both sides on the end. He said that was usually not necessary.DANIEL D.

I just wanted to say that employee Andrew Graham went above and beyond when he helped me replace a faulty fuse to my trailer lighting. He took the time to make sure the trailer lights were working properly before I could depart. When they weren't, he discovered the fuse to those trailer lights was blown. After purchasing a new fuse at a nearby Auto Zone store, Andrew replaced the fuse and I was on my way with the trailer. I mention this because I was moving out of my home and desperately needed this trailer to finish moving out my appliances and other household items. I HAD to be out of my house that day, so without Andrew's assistance, I would not have been able to complete my move and thus would have caused my house closing to be delayed. Andrew Graham should be commended for his superior work ethic, customer service and professionalism. U-Haul needs more employees like him. I have rented from this U-Haul location on numerous occasions and Andrew is always very helpful and friendly. U-Haul should be honored to have an employee like Andrew Graham working for them.John H.

We originally planned on picking up at a different location. Y'all changed it 2x and was 30 mins farther than the original location from my house. Then we get there to pick it up and someone had changed the pick up time and didn't tell us. Then when I tried to call the uhaul number the person I spoke to was incredibly rude and disrespectful. Ray the manager was HORRIBLE. He has no people skills and refused to research what I told him happened & instead said I owed him money when I only had the storage space for 2 weeks on what was supposed to be my 1 free month. It's not cool having the manager basically infer you're telling a lie & being told file a action report which I did & he had to eat crow bc I was correct. The storage space hinge was broken when I went to put lock on and lock wouldn't go on bc of door hinge so I asked U-Haul worker to uncheck me out of the system & he agreed. I found out 3/03/22 he had not checked me out and a 3nd U-Haul worker said he'd fix it in the computer with the correct move in date which I found out wasn't corrected when Ray called me back claiming I owed money. I checked out early & will NEVER use U-Haul again I'm any capacity bc of the horrible way they treated me. Oh and his workers hung up on me when they called me and I asked the to wait a simple minute and when called out on it in person he said that was him but didn't even apologize. The freight elevator to gain access to your storage is horrible and very heavy for a senior. Plus I had to wait over 10 minutes for the person who took it up to let me use it. I have tried repeatedly to have someone return my calls to no avail. The debt card on file was compromised and I ask for Ty Mc Connell to call me back and it never happened. He doesn't work there nor does Anthony. I called Ray Ray and left a message because because he is never available and failed to call me back to resolve. I have been going through chemo and radiation as well as two surgeries only to discover that I had three home evasion. I will provide documentation if needed . I am a 100 % disabled Vietnam Veteran female and widow of same. We were both injured severely which resulted in his death and my illness. A majority of the items in storage are property of Aaron's rental and if sold, will be considered theft and result in a hosts of problems for U-Haul. I need to get my medical equipment, documents and keepsakes out as soon as I am able to travel, with assistance, of course. Adult Protective Services and my caretakers are urging me to reach out to the press. I would like a last opportunity to resolve this matter with U -Haul. The fact that the facility only has one elevator is really inconvenient. People would leave the elevator open on a higher floor and you couldn't even get to your unit. They need to have stairs within the facility. Also, we were never taught or shown how to use the elevator and although we figured it out on our own, we did have it malfunction on the day we moved out, which was really scary. The staff there has a few, at best, "nice" workers but for the most part, they are lazy and never want to answer questions or help you. Someone should be by the elevator helping people with it if it's held up on a different floor and they should really be paying attention to the cameras for when something does go wrong. I would never recommend this facility to anyone due to only have one elevator and no stairs.Brianna S. | Expérience générale

The staff and particularly management were understanding, helpful and very kind as I got behind on payments due to lack of income as a result of COVID during this past year. Management offered solutions to late payments and even non- payments without incurring late fees and even accepted partial payments in order to allow me to get caught up. If I were to have any negative comment at all it would be because of the wait time when calling to speak with an associate... However this is completely understandable with a smaller staff due to COVID. Even the answering service staff were friendly and helpful when I had to leave a message for an associate to call me back. In that event I always received a call back from a Uhaul associate in a timely manner with details of my call. My overall experience during this difficult time over the past year is excellent. The young gentleman that are at the front of the facility or not the greatest when it comes to customer service. Very dull not engaging. It's very apparent they are not happy there. The other thing I would like to comment on is the bathroom facility that area needs some work Sink is coming off the wall and the soap that is available is limited. I know from owning my own business OSHA requirements and things like that this is not at all up to par. Huge liability with the sink and it doesn't take much to install a sink soap dispenser. The lighting upstairs if you're trying to empty your unit goes out a little too quickly maybe you can Extend the timer. Other than that your facility seems to be clean I would've liked to of known where the stairs were in case of fire never did find those just a safety precaution for new customers to maybe give them a tour of where the fire exit doors are. We were sent an email that said if we paid in advance we would receive a free lock and not have to check in at the desk. There was no lock in the shed so we had to purchase a lock, which was not expected, and we were unable to get the door to shut as the metal piece was stuck and would not move. What appeared to be an easy move in process turned to be a fiasco. Not to mention that we paid and were billed a week in advance of when the unit was needed for the easy of move in and free lock and that did not happen. I even called to alert that the bill stated the move in day was listed as the day I paid, not the day I selected on the form, i was told it was not an issue, it was all set on their end, it clearly was not.Jessica H. | Online Move In

I was charged $20 for not returning 3 moving blankets. Sad. And to make matters worse, I was charged an additional day for truck rental even though I had three more available days. Thankfully, the U-haul 800 number was able to credit the truck, however they could not address the blanket charge and advised me to contact the local store. But when I call the local store, the call rolls back to 800 number. This is not exactly the way I would manage the local U-haul office. I might check the contract more carefully to make sure I don't over charge the customer, or maybe reach out to a lifetime customer about 3 misplaced blankets before charging the full amount.
