The floorboard of the truck was cleaned with what appeared to be an oily substance. It was extremely slippery causing my foot to slip from the gas pedal several times on the interstate. I provided this feedback to a store associate who informed that the truck was disinfected in line with COVID protocols. It may be necessary to find a new product to prevent possible accidents.ERIN ELIZABETH M.

Making it easier to understand the delivery rates once the ubox is to be delivered at the final location. I searched high and low for this information and could only find the initial delivery. So it was quite the surprise to be told there would be another delivery fee when most other companies were up front about all fees throughout the process.Valerie I.

The truck I reserved was not available when I arrived so I had to pay more money for a truck I did not need. I reserved a dollie that would have included a strap for my appliances. Instead there were none and I was given a dollie and made to pay for straps in order to move my appliances. The only benefit was the gentleman who help me was pleasant enough. Unfortunately the unpreparedness of this facility is the reason I probably will never rent through this company again. Very unorganized and not worth the month that was spent.ELLISSIA R.

Check in process went well. The day after I returned equipment got a call and voicemail asking when I would be returning equipment and to call or to expect another call shortly. It wasn't rude but it's like the employees didn't even check their own lot for returns before calling. The matter was resolved and Everything went well otherwiseKELVIN V.

The truck drive was the worst all the jerking severe shaking as if the truck was going to cut off on me was by far the worse experience ever. Uhaul trucks is all I rent and this way very disappointing. The man I spoke with about the truck didn't sound nonchalant. I won't rent from this location again.CUSHENA J.

I have never had anything short of an awesome experience at this U-Haul location. Each time I've rented equipment from these folks I have been anxious to fill out the customer survey--something I seldom do overall. I never think twice as to where I should rent equipment.Thomas N.

This was our first time renting a U-Haul and the process of picking up to dropping off in another state was seamless. The staff at pick up in High Point were very knowledgeable about the whole process. The only issue was our drop off location was changed to a different location due to not having space but it was only a 5 minute drive difference. My only complaint would be that staff check that there is space at location before we decide which location for drop off.Wanda D.

I have used this location every time I have had to move and unfortunately for me, Ive moved many times. I have even recommended your location to friends and family. However yesterday 9/4/21 I called early and asked if I could possibly get a 10' foot truck earlier than 6:30 bc I reserved it online and that was the earliest I could get it. I was told no bc they had them all reserved. But there were 6 on the lot facing the street. No problem. I went to the location at 6:41 to get my truck and was rudely spoken to by an African American female who said â€œyou with him?!?â€ There was a gentleman at the counter. I said no, I had a truck reservation at 6:30. She said â€œwe don't rent trucks after 6:40pm.â€ I explained that I tried to rent it a little early and was told I couldn't. The white male with longer haircut said those trucks were all reserved. Then the African American female told the white male that he should go ahead and rent the truck to me bc I was going to call on them if he didn't. I was standing right there! Completely rude! Then as the white male is going thru all insurance and other protocol, I said I know, I've rented from here many times; was never treated so poorly, but nonetheless knew how it all worked, he rolled his eyes. Meanwhile there is a white female in a back office going on and on with her son on the phone about how â€œmommy is so sorry but when mommy gets some money she will be there to visit- she promisesâ€ and just going on about her personal business as loud as her voice could carry. Finally the key is handed to me and was told â€œhere you goâ€. I asked where the truck was and he said it was up front, yeah there were 6 trucks â€œup frontâ€ so he proceeded to tell me the code on the key would match the code on the truck. I am wearing a boot due to a broken ankle and wasn't in the mood to track down the correct truck especially after the treatment I received there! Also as far as I know, being an employee of Guilford county, there is a mask mandate and neither of the three employees working was wearing one. So disappointing. I will continue to do business at your location bc it's convenient and this was the only horrid experience I've had. I'll just hope I never have to be greeted that way ever again. I would have used names rather than descriptions of the people but nobody was wearing name tags. Here's to hoping for a better experience next time.RAINA D.

The truck cabin didn't have air conditioning, it was truly hot. The oil was extremely low that we had to put extra oil on the truck. I asked if everything was prepared for a 1400 mile trip drive driving through the summer heat. What can you do? Provide AC and have the car maintained and prepared for the trip ahead.Walter M.

I requested a 26' truck for 2 days Saturday and Sunday On Wednesday I relieved I was going to need a tow dolly for 1 day I called and added it was told it would be 44 $. Which was fine I even came in to the facility on Friday evening to purchase boxes and to confirm everything for Saturday. Women explained everything was ready. When I arrived Saturday my truck was not ready. Which took over 30 minutes that cut into my time I was paying for the rental. Plus I was informed I was going to be charged for the tow dolly for 2 days not just 1 as I was originally quoted.ANTHONY S.

was never called about the Van that i reserved and was rudely handled by call in person. was given the run around and told me if i wanted what I reserved that I would have to then drive to another location and that there is no way to comp me for the added miles that would be have to be driven. The wheels on this truck were completely out of alignment and it was definitely out of maintenance. I had no choice but to move my stuff as soon as possible, otherwise I'd have returned the truck right away. The cabin was not clean at all. There were cigarette butts in door cabins! Drop off was a bit frustrating. Waited with the truck as instructed but no one ever came out. Finally walked inside the store, the female employee was sitting at the desk texting on her phone. Continued to text while we stood there in front of her. She finally finished and completed our turn in.REX F.
