The lady was very friendly and when we were having trouble opening the push up door, she came right out and assisted, and I haven't had a issue since. For the future I was looking at some items in the store Im going to possibly need when I move out of the storage unit and the pricing was clear and the office was well organized.

All very well they should only refund the money if you do not use the time for which it was paid for example if you deliver it a day later they add it to the collection but if you deliver it days before only your money is stolen and it is not fair, it should be the same for both parties.

Drop off was a piece of cake. The truck was super comfortable to drive. Baltimore to Spring Hill Florida for 3400. Fuel efficient truck. Ty for a smooth transaction.

There were a few little crackers in the back that we did not notice but where we dropped off had no issue with that. Truck was new so we had no problems with it or towing shared load. All good!

I had a rat or mouse that got into my unit and chewed up some cardboard and the top liner on the ceiling split down the middle of the unit.

On October 2, 2024, rented a truck from Hudson, Fl location, to use for collection of our belongings affected by Hurricane Helene. The rental was for one day. However, I became ill and could not return the truck. We had so much happen to get this truck back, The manager was really decent with us, although she had re-rented the truck, she understood our circumstances. Thank you to the manager of U-Haul, for her kindness.

This was not my original pick up location. I reserved a 15' truck at a location less than a mile from me, but you forced me to go 30 minutes away to a different pick up location because my original location didn't have a 15' truck. You failed!

Very friendly and understanding. She asked if everything was ok and I explained to her it was a job trying to get the truck and tow transport together and the trouble I had getting the door to open..she was very nice .

They put a hitch on my car that I paid almost $500 for and then I rented a trailer. I didn't even get out of Georgia before my car broke down because my car can't handle pulling the trailer. I asked them if they were sure that my car could handle pulling a trailer and they assured me that it was gonna be fine. It's not fine my engine is completely blown up. I need a new engine for my car now it took me so many more days to get to New Hampshire and then I had to rent a 26 foot truck because that's all they had in the other location and it cost me $3100 more than what I initially thought I was gonna pay, but I was stranded in Georgia for two days while I tried to figure out what to do with my broke down car , that U-Haul told me was gonna be fine with the trailer hitch and the trailer. Also, they broke my headlight installing the trailer hitch.

We reserved a 26 foot truck weeks in advance. When we arrived at the pick up time and location, the vehicle was not there. Apparently we were to be called the day prior to be advised of 2 other locations that had our needed truck. We were not called and the locations were an hour away. Movers were hired, thus it was not feasible to travel to the locations. The employee, who came to work that morning, was thrown into a situation that would have been avoided with a simple phone call. We requested the 20 foot truck and an 8 foot trailer that was on the lot. Although not ideal, it worked in the end. If not for the young man working that Sunday morning, our experience would have been less than poor.

We used the self-service system to reserve and pickup/drop off our truck.. While the truck and location were fine, the pickup/dropoff process was terrible! The app was very confusing and time-consuming with several ridiculous steps involved.. We'll never use this system again and in the future we will only use the trucks during business hours when a staff member can assist us.

came into Moonlake UHAUL specifically because, as I explained to your attendant, your location is 2,4 miles from my home and I can save on mileage. I was given a map from the desk where we sat to unit 156. Thus map is on your Moonlake letterhead which bears your address. I was sold unit 156 and a 10 foot truck. When I arrived the gate code didn't work which requires over an hour on the phone. When I got to unit 156 I discovered it was occupied, and indeed, your attendant sold me a unit, not at Moonlake UHAUL as I asked and was advised I had recieved, but instead a unit miles away. Needless to say, this is unacceptable and I expect a credit to conpensate for tge traumatic experience.

I'll probably never use this company again. I loved it I placed my things in about a month they were there and I was accused of coming in all hours of the night. People sleeping in the storage units. It's was 10:05 couldn't get out the gate called the number as it stated to do to deal with a rude person.

Approximately 1 hour into our 16 hour trip to Florida the service stabila trak light and hill decent control lights came on. When this happens the cruise control will not work. 15 hours of no cruise control is absolutely grueling. I mentioned this to the individual when I was turning in the truck and they did not seem to care. They told me it was because of the "weight" when I explained to him that it continued to do even after the truck was unloaded he did not seem to care at all.

The U Haul app is terrible. However, those that I spoke with in customer service were excellent. The app would not allow my sign in. It also would not allow me to take pictures during my truck turn in. It could not find my confirmation number. Agai, when I spoke with the 4 women in customer service they were excellent.

Unfortunately, daughter had a poor experience with Uhaul. I was with her when we moved her items from storage in Feb 2023 and we went into office and closed account. The problem was she had it on auto-pay and even though the lady behind the counter told her she'd take care of it and a receipt was handed to my daughter, the payments continued to be deducted. She didn't get a refund. So, I can't/won't reccomend uhaul to anyone.

Staff, security and access were good. The unit had a cockroach when I first opened the door. Ceiling was falling in and had tape and mold all over it. I only took the unit because it was the last unit available after the hurricane flooded our home. I did not feel comfortable leaving items there but I had no choice. Would not use again until renovations were done.

Lost all of our furniture and contents due to Rats , bugs, lice , dead huge Rats in unit. Gottin through the roof. Giant holes. Had to hire a mover to discard everything in the county dump. Cost me a fortune, and lost everything.

I don't even know where to start. The main thing that pisses me off is how unsanitary this place is. RATS WILL EAT YOUR THINGS AND DEPOSIT TURDS on everything else. It is a true disappointment . We lost things we will never be able to replace. Secondly, the employees go through your stuff!! Every chance they get. Things are rearranged everytime? You expect me to pay you money for destroying my worldly possessions. Very sad. You think I owe you and I think you owe me. I will have to see what my attorney has to say.

Never had any problems getting in or out. All of our items were in great condition and dry. Had to get a new battery for the gate so asked the attendant to change it and he couldn't get the fob open so had to tape it back together but it still worked. Thanks for your time and help

I have been with U-haul over 20 years. The U-haul at 14906 US 19 Hudson, Florida 34667 has been the best. Ive had the best service there. I have 24-hour access which was very convenient for me. They got all drive up storage units. They also have climate control units. They have a huge parking in the back for large RVs boats or whatever for storage. The storage units we're always clean inside and out. The office bathroom outside parking was always nice and neat and clean. The general manager Chandler Gilmore he has been right on top of everything. I had a chance to watch him grow with the U-haul company since the day he started. He has always made sure his customers came first. If i had any issues, problems or complaints, Mr. Gilmore would make sure it was taken care. Mr Gilmore and his staff were always polite courteous well-mannered to me and many others. I highly recommend Mr Gilmore and his staff at this U-Haul to anyone. I want to thank you all for taking such good care of me when I was there all those years. Wish you all the best.

The few times I was there the, young adult guy in the place was not what I call a customer service friendly attendant. My first visit, I told him I talked to a lady on the phone to set my reservation, that I had never been here before. He asked if I was at the right place (but with a rude tone) told him I got the address from the lady's email. He ask if I knew what lot I had. My answer was no, with a load of sarcasm he said they didn't tell you, like I was lying about it! Why would I a new customer be lying. Then he said okay I guess I have to look you up in the system. He asked for my last name and then tells me a lot number and turns away from me to go about his day. I said excuse me I have never been here before can you tell me or show me where that is? He replied drive straight back, they are marked on the wall. That was the extent of my interaction with him , which was fine by me he was not much help and seems very upset to be doing his job. So we drive back and apparently you had your walls Recently painted and the painters painted right over the numbers and they are not readable. So either the person at the counter knew and didn't care, or never leaves the office, or he was new without a trainer (not likely he knew the computer systems) So I just left the office a minute ago or less and drive to the back lot. I call the office phone to tell him there's no visible numbers, and he doesn't answer after what seems like five or six rings the call routes to the main 800 number. Apparently he forward the office phone so he didn't have to be bothered. By the time uhaul answered my wife after walking through weeds and high grass to the back wall found the lot we were assigned. It wasn't going to work. The grass had not been trimmed and the lots on either side were crowding the lot. I was not getting a boat in that spot. The person on the 800# was helpful and called the GM on their cell phone and we got it resolved. I came by again before hurricane Ian and tarped and secured my boat. No one was in the office in the middle of the day, maybe they were home making their preparations. Next time I came after the hurricane again no one in the office. Went to check on the boat, and decided my 92,7 was better spent in my driveway. So I brought the boat home. Came by the office on the 17th and no one to help me again. So I emailed the GM to let them know I wanted to terminate my contract. As many lots as you have and storage boxes there, you have to many people with a code to the gate for it to be secured without an attendant, especially one that won't answer a phone or stay at the counter. It would take an hour max for someone with a weed wackier to clear the back wall and empty areas so people could get to an assigned spot. If you are afraid of throwing a rock, slow the weed wicker down and put a lighter string on it so it would break instead of flinging a rock. Or spray weed killer and misquote spray so people are not eaten alive there. Simple things that an attendant can do, easy to have them forward the office phone to a cell phone and put them on a golf cart to show people their lot or storage area. In the end the decision to move-out was based on lackluster costumer service, and ability to get to the boat without tramping through mud, grass and mosquitoes. Also, not impressed with a lack of reply to the email I sent to the GM about my move out. Very upset by the fact they took another payment, like I wasn't going to notice. Like I had not cancelled.

I arranged and paid for my reservation over the phone, Amy was great to talk to and set things up. There are however at least one or two other uhuals in the area of NewYork and 19 and I ended up at the wrong one. I called your facility while I was still at the wrong location. The gentleman answered wouldnt confirm I was calling the right place. Finally I asked do you have an associate by the name of Amy, yes we do...Okay I am on my way. When I got to the correct facility. the guy at the counter was less than helpful, again. I told him who I was, that I had just talked to him one the phone, and I had arranged everythign prior to my arrival with Amy on the phone, that I had never been here berfore. I asked him which spot is mine, he's like you dont know your spot, I replied no we arranged this on the phone. looks me up in the computer by name and says they assigned you lot 16. I replied okay where is that? He says you dont where your lot is? I was thinking to myself he has not been listening to a thing I said. 1. I went to the wrong place to start with, if I had been there before I wouldnt have gone to the wrong place. 2. I told you it was all set up over the phone, 3 I told you I had never been here before. I asked him were lot 16 was, he stated straight back the numbers are paintred on the wall. Okay. So we haul the 25ft boat back and while I applaud you painting and updating the brick wall back there someone painted right over the numbers that are supose to be visible, they are not visible. Well we found lot 16 after my wife walked through high grass and insects to get within inches of the signs to read them. Lot 16 was not going to work for my boat. Its at least a quarter mile walk back to the office, so I tried to call the office phone. No answer, mind you I left the office less than 5min ago. The national office picks up the line. I told him my issue, he puts me on hold to call his number for the office, still no answer. I told him theres an opening at lot 45 I can back in there and come back tomorrow if its an issue. He said he would call the GM of the site, who thankfully answered their phone. The GM agreed and the 25ft boat now is at lot 45. I would suggesst some customer service initiatives with the employee that was at the desk. First off answer the phone! Second active listening isn't a fad term it is real. When we pulled out his car was still parked in front of the office and he was inside. I have no clue why he couldn't answer the phone for me or the national office, especially when he knows there are customers on the lot that may have questions. In the end we got a good spot and seems like we will be good there. I like the high concrete walls. I took a look at the camera arrays displayed on the tv screen when we walked in and was happy with the picture quality. I know there are workforce issues and the job probably doesn't pay much over min wage, so the effort by the gentleman maybe minimal as well. That said the GM was responsive and accomidating to our needs and for that I am appreciative.

The staff at this facility from day one have been horrible. Rude and unhelpful! The facility itself must have changed hands over the last 18 months (Approximately) and has gone down hill. It is filthy! The amount of dirt and dust that gets into the storage areas is unreal. Your stored items will be filthy! The management does not care and basically walks away when you bring it up. Homeless individuals are actually living out of storage bins! Again, management does not care.

I had one unit number 19 I went in day before yesterday to get a few things out there was a decomposing rat with maggots all inside of my storage the roof was caving in and they happen to have number one 20 which is two doors down so I have to go through everything I had to throw away all of my clothes because I had rat urine and feces on it not very pleased about this at all I'm trying to be very nice about it actually so anyway I had to relocate my unit to #120 ... Also my unit number 118 was paid up till the 20th of this month... Because I switched units they said my payments will be on the 13th...not right... I do not agree with this... I have been a pryer customer off and on.. I have never ever felt so cheated and disgraced I know it's poor matainace.... Leaking roofs... unreal 濫

I had unit 118 I went in yesterday to get a few things there was rats maggots all over the place I actually had to take everything out of storage put it in a storage number 120 which luckily was right next door then they try to charge me for 10/13.. my unit was paid up till the 20th so then I called the manager and he said that I will get a free month we shall see I'm not happy thank you

The stuff I stored became infested with cockroaches, even though the ads promised a clean, bug free environment. My moving company refused to move my stuff and we had to leave it behind in Florida. The manager would never return my calls and kept trying to put a lean on my stuff. NIGHTMARE. AVOID.

TJ was very friendly and helpful! My husband just had surgery and was unable to open the storage door. We called and TJ came out immediately and helped us. I will definitely recommend your place to others!

TJ, the intake customer service rep was terrific. Friendly, helpful, and efficient. My complaint about my experience was the unit, not the staff. The unit had a sagging ceiling liner that was clearly old, moldy and possibly had water pooling and ready to drench my belongings. The unit smelled terribly of mold and was clearly in need of an update. Please address these deficiencies and I'm sure you will then receive better feedback from future customers.

I'm on a very tight budget, we get to uhaul and they tell me they don't have the storage I reserved but only have bigger size. I didn't reserve bigger because I can't afford more than $90 a month. So finding this out last minute where I have to turn our truck back in and don't have options, so now I'm stuck with a storage rental I can't afford and to have to get another rental truck to move it out to another facility that I can afford.

"Cat" the manager is awesome and very helpful, I couldn't afford to pay the rent and am sorry for leaving the mess for her to deal with, in the future I'll definitely be renting again if they will let me.

Manager at this location was more concerned with her lunch than helping customer. Also ceiling in my unit was starting to deteriorate over time. Would not ever go back to this location.

I just love the hospitality I get each and every time I rent from this location. Kat is the on site manager at this U-Haul. She has been with the company well over 10 years. She is very knowledgeable and certainly knows what she is doing. She takes her time explaining everything you need to know. Her job is far from just office work. Part of her job is to hook and unhook trailers, inspect trucks coming and going, maintenance on the Uhaul trucks and trailers as need, load and unload storage boxes with a forklift, fills propane tanks, ordering products, inspect the property, and storage units, customer service and much more. But most important she always makes sure her customers are first and foremost. She Makes sure they each and every customer is completely satisfied before they leave the property. Thanks Kat. I will definitely be back. Kat is Very highly recommended.

I love dealing business at this location. Your employee Kat is amazing. I meet her years ago at the U-haul on 52 in Hudson location. Kat always takes time to explain anything to me. She always make sure that the customer is the most important person. She is very well mannered. Her store inside and out, impressions me. How very clean it is Everytime I've rented either a storage unit or a moving truck, they are super clean. Kat is very professional and so very awesome at her job. You can tell that she doesn't just work there for the paycheck. She takes pride in her job as manager of any of the U-haul stores she has managed. She treats everyone like the way she wants to be treated. With the up-most respect. I can't tell you how much I myself personally love going to her store and see that happy face. She knows what she is doing. She understands people concerns, comments and complaints and she deals with them in a timely manner. I highly recommend this U-HAUL location.

Cat and Chandler went out of their way and cleaned out a unit the same day I came in. And then came across the highway to personally let me know the unit was ready. Also appreciate Cat's, "telling it like it is" attitude. Will recommend her, however I have no doubt she will always be full.

Concern of the ceiling installation exposed and hanging. She informed me its not the roof, just installation and would not affect my belongings as they did not have another unit available.

We had 2 go 2 another U place 10 miles out of our way cause the trailer we were we suppose had was broken with the Electric hook up...Not 2 happy with U Haul......No Credit 4 the problem it caused us...
