Uhaul has a systemic problem with allowing customers to reserve equipment such as appliance dollies, even though they are not available at the rental location. This puts the customer in a bind when they need and are expecting to have a dolly for their move. I have encountered this issue with two Uhaul rentals in the last year. This is obviously not the fault of the individual location, but with Uhaul's reservation system.BRIAN D.

This has been a sufficiently horrid experience. Never using uhaul again. Been sleeping on the floor for much longer than intended because of delays and incompetence. Website is horrible, glitchy, and misleading. I'm deleting my account with uhaul and steering everyone I know away from this service. Happy new year!Eli A.

I scheduled a truck to be picked up at 750 S Buckley Rd and I got there and I was told the truck was at 2150 S Abilene St. Then I scheduled the drop off at 830 Wadsworth and found out that the drop off location changed into golden Co so I proceeded to drop off the truck at 830 Wadsworth and couldn't find the drop box for the key, so I locked the door of the truck and took the key with me and went to go pick up my girlfriends car, came back and found d the drop box for the key and was not able to close the account, so I came back the next day and found the truck gone without record of it being turned in. I had drop the key off about 45 minutes later that night I dropped it offKEVIN B.

Terrible service. Terrible communication. Got yelled and screamed at. I didnt want to park my car right next to the door where everyone comes in and out and was screamed at by an employee. It appeared that employee was also working on his own vehicle in the parking lot. Just overall terrible experience. I will hire movers from now on thanks.Justin S.

Looks like the place just opened. Took 15 minutes to even get the keys. Jessica was trying to train someone else in the middle of renting me the truck. She quoted $35. Went and used the truck it was clean and worked fine. Brought it back, Jessica did she would email me the receipt so I left. Come to find out I was charged $119 and don't have a receipt. I called to see why and the guy couldn't even find me in the computer, like my transaction didn't happen but the money was definitely taken.Julia P.

I do believe it was a rare occurrence/situation but my U-Haul experience with your location started great. Jessica. Was more than helpful even thought you did not have an adapter and I had to go find one. The breakdown starts when a trainee Is the one making the connection and it's her first time, obviously Her first time! She looks like somebody using a Rubik's cube. My initial thought was I should do it being that it's my truck etc. then I thought maybe they have to do it if you rent from uhaul. Even then I still didn't think too much of it and it went well,we were hooked up and then it wasn'!! suffice to say I've had problems with my electronics simce And even so I can still understand that things happen but it was my experience with Caitlin that supersedes any previous rude conversation I've ever had with a customer service person I have any company. My advice is if a customer calls in to speak about something a employee did please don't transfer them to that person to be ridiculed by and completely rolled over concerning their questions. Hopefully this will all turn out well. This is the only time in my life I have ever written a review. I can understand an accident, a fluke etc. etc. etc. but I can't understand outright rudeness from a company representative..RANDY G.

On Monday (10/18/21) I rented a 10ft truck at 1pm with a return time of 7pm. The Clerk (Ashley), who was very kind and customer service friendly, told me if I was running late, just to call and let her know. At 630pm, I called Ashley to let her know I was running a few minutes behind. I gave her an estimation of 715-720pm. Ashley told me that if i was going to be late, to hold on to the rental till the following day, with the understanding that I would be charged another days rental to include insurance, but she would waive the late fees. I told her that another day wasn't needed if I was going to be 15 minutes late. She explained that even if i was 15 minutes late, I would still be charged for another day. Frustrated, I told her that I would be there by 7pm. I brought the rental back by 655pm (by leaving my property outside my door and paying a neighbors kid to watch my things). I write this all to say this... I use to work for U-Haul as a Customer Service Agent in our Colorado Springs Market. I understand that at the end of the day, we have a business to run. But when I was faced with a situation like this, I would do what I could to help our customers, even if they were going to be a FEW minutes late. Some where, I think we all lost what "GOOD" customer service use to be like. Don't get me wrong, Ashley was polite, professional, and was just doing her job. Where I feel she failed, was her lack of understanding and empathy for the customer, who was only running 15 minutes late. Despite having to leave my property on the sidewalk to ensure that I returned the truck on time, I would recommend and rent from this location again. Everyone deserves a second chance. Trailer rented did not have moving blankets I reserved and found 3 wadded up moving blankets inside trailer. I had to un hook my trailer once returned.
