This uhaul experience was the worst, if I could have rented from a different company I would have. Will not use uhaul in the future Hitch install was not an option when I arrived for my hitch install. They didn't call me ahead of time and offered no new appointments to get it installed. I had to call other Uhaul's and waited on hold half a day. The automatic phone system is terrible, you can't reach anyone you need. Finally got a nice customer service gal Lori who arranges hitch install. Hitch was installed but the right blinker does not work and there was no one to fix it. Ball and hitch were not installed so had so go to another location. Location uhaul was reserved had no trailers day of so got sent to a 3rd location. Still trailer blinker didn't work and was told to go get it fixed at a non uhaul trailer location. Overall uhaul in Dallas is trash. Customer service, reliability and hitch install are terrible. I was running late because I no longer had a ride. My rental was cancelled without notice; could have at least called to check if I was still coming as a common courtesy and proper customer service. If I rent something for 24 hrs, I should be able to pick it up within those 24 hrs as I am still paying for it and it's on me to have it back in time. Instead.. you aid in potential stress when moving is already stressful. Please try to do better and contact renters BEFORE canceling, as sometimes sh** happens. This caused unnecessary issues. I had to pay for a dolly twice and paid for pads I never got.. still trying to figure out how to get the initial $20 back. The cup holder had sticky red stuff in it that wasn't cleaned, and some poopy brown mark across the windshield that wasn't marked with an â€œxâ€, and a few other damages not marked that should have been checked from the last renters. Oh and my 15' truck online was 19.95, but in store charged me 29.95.Holly H.

I reserved a truck for 1:30 and arrived 15 minutes early to complete the paper work and was told I was way too early. I was then told they didn't have a truck to rent me and that the next one that came in would go to someone else since they reserved the truck earlier in the day than me. I was shocked at how rude this person was. I can overlook some rudeness because everyone has bad days but this person was rude from the from the minute I said hi and didn't let up. I will not go back to this store.Carla H.
The door trim of the back door of the cargo van fell off while we were loading. I was able to complete the rental and return of the cargo van, but I did not feel welcomed or appreciated as a customer. The employees seemed indifferent to my presence and business.Ron S.

First guy at the counter would not take my Mastercard, he thought it was a prepaid debit. Second guy took the Mastercard but told me I needed to go to another location to get my van because they had reservations prior to mine. After explaining that I was not hired to arrange UHaul logistics and that he could give me the van and come up with his own plan for future customers, he gave me the van. This location is closest to me with consistently bad service.BART S.

The store seemed to be understaffed when I came to get the truck, but once I was helped they worked with me to get me a van even though I accidentally made a reservation at the wrong storeAustin J.

Nothing much to improve. They did a good job of putting the hitch receiver on, and attaching the trailer for us. It took longer to attach, but only because it required a lot of custom work, which they did well.John F.

Need more customer service people in the morning. One person on duty trying to ring up box sales, process check out and service vehicles. My rental gas register was below empty and I was afraid I would not make it to a gas station. Be more prepared to assist with mobility issues.....I had no idea how high it was to step up into the vehiIcle, asked the attendant for something to step on and he looked at me like I had two heads. I felt very Disrespected and that I was a nucance. I could tell the agent was very stressed out from trying to handle everything by himself. But, to send a handicapped woman out of the lot with an empty vehicle is beyond comprehension. You got to do betterjudy M.

1. Make sure that the vehicle is cleaned before pickup 2. Service the vehicle. The check engine light was on. 3. Don't charge customers for gas unnecessarily. I received the vehicle with 1/4 tank and I returned it with 1/4. Sneaking in additional charges is not ethical.muhammad H.

First thing when I picked up my uhaul van the milage was wrong on the paperwork and more than what was stated on given paperwork. Second, I attempted several times to self check in my uhaul van and was denied. Your system said the milage was less than original pick up milage which was obviously wrong, non the less I was denied self check in which I was trying to do to save money by doing so as stated on the uhaul drop window. I also returned the truck full tank and used under the estimated use milage given so I'm I should not have been charged mare than the agreed 49 for my van rental. Not sure what's going on with this site but I'd like to speak to someone higher up to resolve my issue being charged more than I should have, I've attempted to call the store but no one's answering today it seems.JAYMAINEAUGUSTAS W.

Please be sure to ask the customer how long they need the truck for. I needed it longer than was given so I was charged for 2 days since I didn't know you guys changed policy. I thought when it said 19,95/day it truly meant 24 hours like it used to be. I blame the agent for not advising of the new policy.Julie J.

This Uhaul location was the worst experience I have ever had in all the years I have used Uhaul. The storage I was using was leaking and the manager and staff didn't not care, one of the staff members asked me if I had someone to come out to fix my storage that I was renting from them. I was told by Traci per the manager it was fixed but each timed it rain my stuff was getting wet so I moved. The manager did not contact me regarding the issue and when I was able to see her the day I was moving, she was rude , her attitude appeared as didn't care and showed no concern for the issue. I recommend this location to anyone in and around the DFW International Airport area . They are very knowledgeable, helpful, courteous, all with positive attitude and top customer service ! If you have a question they have an answer and they explain everything to you as far what's required to rent as well as the terms and agreements ! I've never used U-Haul before but if I decide to use them again this will be my go to place from this day forward . This location has an ALL-STAR TEAM ....... So if you're wanting the best !
