Your website tries to sell you add on items like boxes, tape, locks, etc. If you choose those on the website, the they should be pulled for you in the store. Mine were not even mentioned and as a result I did not remember until gone from store. Now I have to make sure I didn't pay for them since the website said charges now when setup truck rental and charges in store for truck. That is not good service.

ERIC P.My rental was for a day (a long one) and I dropped off after hours due to some frustrating delays out of my control regarding items I picked up from a store,m. Even though I discussed this likelihood when I picked up the truck and it was indicated that should be fine for a one day rental, I was charged for two days when I dropped off. Everything else about the rental was good (although a long move with no cruise control would be tough).

Jeffrey K.Uhaul changed my pickup location to a place 30+ miles away, then when I got there the tow trailer for my car wasn't available so I had to drive home to load the truck and back out to uhaul (60+ miles round trip) to hook up the trailer and get my car. Then when I returned the Uhaul they charged me extra for going over the mileage on my contract (by 41 miles). That doesn't seem right.

Grant C.The truck was parked in a way that I couldn't get it out. The turning radius was AWFUL! When I dropped off the truck I was told that I would get a partial refund due to the TERRIBLE turning radius. IT WAS DANGEROUS! This truck WILL be a liability to your company if not fixed....

David L.This was my second location after the first wasn't able to fullfil my "guaranteed" reservation, and sent me here (a 35 minute drive). When I got here, the worker simply said "no, I can't give you a trailer", and then didn't even try to help find what I needed. I ended up getting just a truck, which caused my move to be twice as long and three times more expensive. Absolutely no help given from this location.

Jacob V.I returned van on July 31,2022@11:00Am, at return Time Gas was enough,gas Gages was Bad, and agent made me put another $7;00 I went and put more gas and still showed low.I show gas receipt.and van smell Smoke in side,and still didn't receive my Check in receipt on my email copy of total charge detail. I waited long at return time and not happy with service at location.
chandrakant M.Make sure the customer know that the truck needs to be returned with 1/4 tank of gas even if they received it under that. I drove 4 miles total and was charges $53 to refuel. The gas needle didn't move. When I called I was told there was nothing they could do for me. My move cost more then twice what it should have.

yessica R.The truck was not ready at the time I requested. When I called a U-Haul representative, it showed that while my reservation was a 24hr pick up, the store had it ready as in-person. So I had to sit outside the store for an hour and a half and wait until it opened to get my truck.

I asked what the charges were on the itemized list and he got really annoyed and mad and said “either you want the vehicle or not it's that simple!â€. Just completely went off on me for no reason when I was just trying to ask what the extra fees were. I will never come back here

Shaniqua T.They didn't have the part needed to hook up the plug on our vehicle when we arrived for out appointment, so we waited over an hour. So some seating in the store would be great. We have no complaints even with the wait, because of the wait we were able to upgrade in size (great thing we did!), the staff was friendly, and very apologetic. Roberto was wonderful! The store was so busy and he kept everybody happy.

Roberto M.This uhaul experience was the worst, if I could have rented from a different company I would have. Will not use uhaul in the future Hitch install was not an option when I arrived for my hitch install. They didn't call me ahead of time and offered no new appointments to get it installed. I had to call other Uhaul's and waited on hold half a day. The automatic phone system is terrible, you can't reach anyone you need. Finally got a nice customer service gal Lori who arranges hitch install. Hitch was installed but the right blinker does not work and there was no one to fix it. Ball and hitch were not installed so had so go to another location. Location uhaul was reserved had no trailers day of so got sent to a 3rd location. Still trailer blinker didn't work and was told to go get it fixed at a non uhaul trailer location. Overall uhaul in Dallas is trash. Customer service, reliability and hitch install are terrible. The opposite of what you want for a move.

My rental was cancelled without notice; could have at least called to check if I was still coming as a common courtesy and proper customer service. If I rent something for 24 hrs, I should be able to pick it up within those 24 hrs as I am still paying for it and it's on me to have it back in time. Instead.. you aid in potential stress when moving is already stressful. Please try to do better and contact renters BEFORE canceling, as sometimes sh** happens. This caused unnecessary issues. I had to pay for a dolly twice and paid for pads I never got.. still trying to figure out how to get the initial $20 back. The cup holder had sticky red stuff in it that wasn't cleaned, and some poopy brown mark across the windshield that wasn't marked with an “xâ€, and a few other damages not marked that should have been checked from the last renters. Oh and my 15' truck online was 19.95, but in store charged me 29.95.

The storage I was using was leaking and the manager and staff didn't not care, one of the staff members asked me if I had someone to come out to fix my storage that I was renting from them. I was told by Traci per the manager it was fixed but each timed it rain my stuff was getting wet so I moved. The manager did not contact me regarding the issue and when I was able to see her the day I was moving, she was rude , her attitude appeared as didn't care and showed no concern for the issue. I will not ever use this location again nor recommend any one else to.

If you have a question they have an answer and they explain everything to you as far what's required to rent as well as the terms and agreements ! I've never used U-Haul before but if I decide to use them again this will be my go to place from this day forward . This location has an ALL-STAR TEAM ....... So if you're wanting the best !
