After dropping off the trailer at 3:45am, I returned the next day. Upon arrival, I entered the store with my contract in my hand and ask the two ladies behind the desk if they could help me? One responded by saying "maybe - it depends"! This defensive disingenuous response was very unprofessional and I just wanted to confirm that they were aware of the trailer that I had dropped off earlier and to advise the staff that the trailer had a flat tire (right rear). This nonprofessionl disposition and demeanor does not encourage me to do business with U-Haul in the future.Melvin M.

When a customer s running late you can check to see if they need more time instead of charging them. The moving company I booked through U-Haul was an hour late and I was charged an additional rental and appliance fee due to them being an hour late. The guy that I spoke with when I dropped of the rental was a sarcastic asshole, that's how I identify him. He was very nonchalant in trying to find out what happened instead of charging me or asking me if I needed anymore time.Shakina W.

Maintenance on truck. Better customer service during turn-in. The customer rep. was so damn lazy he didn't even come outside! I had to go inside vs the posted sign to stay with vehicle. Vehicle available when it's suppose to be available. I made an appt. For a 26 ft. Moving truck â€œweeksâ€ in advance and called early week before pick up to make certain it would be available and confirmed the day before. But It wasn't available at 10:00 am as I was told it would be and they asked me to go farther drive from my home to pick up the truck at 3:00 pm but when I went to the next location it wasn't available there either so I ended up,(with most of the day and loader help gone)driving far out near the airport rush hour to get a truck at another location. The service was unreliable to say the least and then driving back noticed as it got dark a headlight was out so they don't maintain the vehicle well. I called the location and let them know about the light and wasn't told how they resolved that type problem, very unprofessional! I lost a day and had to wait until daylight to drive to my destination. A very upsetting situation of a stressful enough move to another state. I have passed this info on to everyone I know. This ordeal was a nightmare. I would never have expected this from the Uhaul reputation. Very sadâ˜¹ï¸RAYMOND L.

The only improvement which is a major big deal is explaining how you charge the customer up front. I was told after I brought the van back. I was charged for the deposit 67,96 and then charge again for 33 and then charge again for the total actual amount of 87 and my bank took all these payments for you when my payment should have been only 87 and some change I was charged over 100 before the actual payment and when I ask about it the lady about these charges. She brushed it off and said you will get back the difference in 3 to 5 days as if I don't need that money now. So I ended up paying a total 187 charge to my card instead of 87 and have to wait 3 to 5 days to get my 100 back that never should have been charged anyway. Other than that all was well.Kamisha B.

When I arrived the man that was checking me in noticed the cracked windshield and attempted to charge me for the damage however once I showed him my numerous documented images of the damage at the moment I was picking the truck up as well as how the pickup location was horribly unprofessional, he attempted to help me get a complaint turned in and make sure that cracked windshield was filed on the pick up location and not me. May7, 2022 I came to the uhaul with the attention to show my drivers license, help my friend get her items out of storage not knowing they was putting my name on the contract. She use her card to get the truck she never said anything to me about this the man Me. Lorenzo didn't say anything also , I knew something was up he had me signing not her . I needed the truck at 7am but the app was not working there was a U-Haul staff member there who provided little to no help I had to wait until 9 when they open to get the truck. While using the truck I found out the truck has no A/C and it's heat coming from the bottom on both sides my leg is burnt because it was so hot. I told the staff member when I returned the truck he laugh and said sorry he didn't know I ask for some Kind of discount for my inconvenience he offered me $5 I told him to keep it because that's like a slap in the face and this would be my last time using U-Haul or referring U-Haul to any of my friends the customers service sucks.Alunser A.

The manager there is very rude . And any time you talk to someone who says my facility ...and they don't own it ...you already know what you're going to get. There are several times that I called I stayed on hold more than 15 minutes and there has been times that I have called and that was a lot of horseplay and profanity in the background. I PURCHASED UNIT #2408 ON WEDNESDAY 21st of July I tried to move some things in my storage on Saturday 24th of July my gate access key didn't work I was stuck behind the gate and couldn't get out for three hours I called customer service I was on hold for 50 minutes they finally gave me a code to open the gate so that I can get out the very next morning I went back to to storage unit still my key wouldn't work I went to the front office and was told that an employee there had sold the storage unit that I purchased on Wednesday 21st of July to a Michael Wilson I was very disappointed because I had a delivery of a bedroom set that was supposed to be delivered on Saturday but the delivery driver called in sick thank God or they would've been delivery to a storage unit that an employee sold to someone else that was supposed to have been my unit!! THE STORE MANAGER KEVON SMITH GAVE ME A LARGER UNIT FOR THE PRICE OF THE SMALLER UNIT THAT AN EMPLOYEE GAVE TO SOMEONE ELSE TO FOR THE INCONVENIENCE WHICH WAS NICE BUT I STILL WASN'T SATISFIED WITH THAT UNIT BECAUSE ITS UPSTAIRS THE FLOORS ATE WOOD AND LOOKS AS IF THE FLOORS OPEN UP AND SOMEONE CAN ENTER MY UNIT FROM THE UNIT UNDERNEATH AND STEAL MY THINGS!!! I have had my storage unit for several years and I am never late due to my account being on auto pay. Recently I had several fraud transactions on my bank account, and I was forced to cancel my card. Through the process of protecting myself, I didn't realize Uhaul was one of accounts connected to my card, and would be affected until I received a letter informing me. I called the location, and spoke to a lady that was very rude and unprofessional. She spoke over me and when I corrected her pronunciation of my name she mocked me. I also asked her about waiving my fees and she informed me that they would have needed to know in advance about my situation. I asked " so I needed to let you know in advance that someone would be committing fraud on my account?" I asked her for the Store Manager or customer service. She said she would transfer me to customer service, but I somehow got the Morrow location instead. The lady at the Morrow location successfully transferred me to customer service, but I was hold for an hour. The Jonesboro location need a lot of work on their customer service. During the time I have had my Uhaul storage, I have been locked in the storage facility by the staff, the restroom is always filthy, verbally attacked by a staff member for a delinquent account that was not mine, and now this. I had my stuff stored here since 2003 and was finally able to afford to move it out this month. Most of the time it was easy to make payments, there were a few months over the years I made a payment and they said I did not and tried to double charge me but I was able to call and the staff remedied the screw up. When I was finally able to pick my stuff up it was for the most part just dusty and cobwebs but so far have not found any rodent droppings or bugs that is a huge plus.
