I found that the brake peddle on the truck was higher then the gas peddle. At first my foot would bump the side of the peddle when I went to stop. Took some getting used to

Rented a van online a week before, showed up but one van was out of service due to brake lights failing and the previous customer hadn't returned mine after 2 hours late. Denise great in getting one from 56th Ave location then refunded me most of my bill for having to drive farther and use more gas, KM etc. She is always great about helping and as this wasn't her fault , no hard feelings. Will continue to deal with Denise as she's a trooper despite abusive customers , fun to deal with and super great at accommodating . Hope you made Gary pay for not returning his van on time and ignoring you, Denise !!

I had scheduled a truck for 10am at the Newton location but when I arrived the truck was not available. They said they had double booked me and now my truck was gone. I had 3 people waiting for me at home to help move me. They then told me that I had to drive to Langley to get me truck. Extra cost for fuel for me to drive there as well as fuel in the truck for the extra long journey was needed. They gave me a break on gas for truck but I still lost an hour off the top plus extra travel time to pick up and drop off was needed. The people were friendly but the situation cause extra stress that was not needed especially on move day. They should have put me in something at the Newton branch instead of sending me on an extra 1 hour drive. They 1 hour cost me because my 3 guys were just waiting for truck that was coming from Langley. A bad experience to happen on most people's most stressful day. Not happy with Uhauls techniques to fill trucks. The truck did not seem to be sanitized either. Especially the steering wheel. Not using Uhaul again nor will I be recommend them. I glad it's all over. Worst day.

Back of the van was dirty and also had a used moving blanket in it. We prebooked the van online and also reserved a dolly to move furniture and upon getting the van asked if the furniture dolly was in the van. We were told they had none. So what was the point of reserving one? The clerk could have cared less and only phoned another uhaul as we asked if they could. So at the end of the day we had a horrible time moving my deceased fathers furniture. Not impressed. Asked if I could have the managers card and he pointed out the manager and said they wouldn't be able to be of help either. Poor customer service and quality of rentals.

sometimes difficult to make contact very first thing at 07:00 am. Had two calls going on at 07:00 am, one on my cell phone, got on an endless loop of holding, the other call simultaneously on my land line,and got through immediately. otherwise staff very helpful and efficient.

Rental was not clean & swepted up. Garbage in cab. There was pop all over the inside of the windshield and the cab was obviously not covid 19 cleaned before it was rented out. One rear tail light didn't work it took a litre and a half of oil from the girl behind the counter to get the oil onto the dipstick she didn't have any more in stock at the location I had to drive to a gas station and put into more litres of oil that we bought ourselves to get the oil the proper level on the dipstick 2 days later when truck was returned tat location still did not oil in there shop. The people on the phone in behind the counter did a good job Fleet Maintenance sucks sanitary cleaning sucks the price was fair

When renting a trailer have a tool box for the rental agent with all applicable necessary tools ie... gloves, wiring harness extension. It's best not to ask the customer to go find things for you. Also make sure tge trailer is functioning properly. The first trailer had wiring damage the second trailer was parked incorrectly the third trailer had to be returned because of surge brake ussues.... 4th times a charm?

I should have checked before I left the yard, but I was given the wrong style handtruck, and only 2 of the 12 blankets that I requested online. I was credited back the $ when I returned the truck, but it would have made the move easier if I had the right stiff.

I can't think of anything you should do differently. The pickup was really quick and smooth. The vehicle ran well, and was clean. The drop off was super easy and quick. I guess the only thing I don't like is that when I'm done using the vehicle, it's hard to get the gas back to the exact previous spot. I always overfill it to avoid paying extra fees. If every time I picked up a uhaul, it had a full tank, it would be easier to just fill it up before returning it.

I returned a few minutes after closing and did it all online. Took a few pictures of truck and speedometer and locked the doors and dropped the key. No problem very slick set up.

Equipment was returned within 4 hours and I got email 4 day later from u hall and got charged twice. Explanation was that Equipment was not returned within 24 hrs. Someone either doesn't know how to use uhall system or they just don't care.

Would only recommend the UHAUL company for its fair prices, but you get what you pay for. Have experience lots of discrepancies, ambiguity and attitude in the customer service over the past 3 years.

I emptied my my storage unit C224 on December 27 and advised the office in person, before departing, that it was empty and no longer required. The front desk person acknowledged my comments and said they would send a employee to check it. Subsequently I wrote an email advising the manager, Tina Pender that the storage was no longer required. Yesterday I got a call from U-Haul advising that my rent was 3 days late. That is poor service.

My only suggestion would be to implement a company rate to promote repeat or long term usage of the storage facilities. As a Senior Move Management company, I rent lockers on a regular basis for my clients. If we were given a reduced rate I would be more inclined to rent one or two long term for my clients usage.

When I was at the front counter inquiring about my unit, the staff member was not very helpful. I asked where was the unit located and got the answer "I think building 1". When I finally found the unit there was a lock already on the door. I went back to the office and asked about it to the same employee he just looked at me. I said it looks like one of u-hauls locks maybe. He then said well yes I put it there. I had to then ask how do we get it removed, he said well I guess I could go out there in a bit. I left the office and saw he left by another door and was ahead of me. The unit was clean but to have a light bulb in there would be nice. :(

Tina the general manager was very rude and unhelpful. I had rented 30 foot Rv spot for my trailer with the idea of fitting a second trailer there at some point 17 months later i realized upon buying a second trailer that my actual spot was 17 feet when i brought this to the managers attention she did not seem to take action after two weeks i spoke with her again only to be told that she can evict me at anytime and that if i am unsatisfied i should take my business elsewhere which i did the new manager was very helpful and i was refunded the difference that i over paid for the last 17 months i should also point out the front desk staff are kind and helpful the only bad apple there was tina but thankful now she is gone no future clients have to deal with her bad attitude.

I ordered a locker and upon inspection found a dead mouse and numerous droppings within the unit. I asked to have it cleaned and would return in a couple of days to move in. When I returned I was unable to access the main gate and had to return the next day to talk with office staff. I then learned that the locker i had paid for got rented to someone else.

Early yesterday morning before I was fully awake someone phoned, identified themself as staff and explained to me that the storage unit was no longer going to be available o n may 1st when it had been booked for. That there were 2 units available right now and I could only have it if I took it RIGHT NOW. I explained that I needed it for 1 month from May 1st as we had rented a 15ft truck with 2 bedrooms of furniture and were moving from the States to Canada.. We needed it for 1 mth while we were quarantined for 2 weeks on arrival, as per the new Covid Health laws. The staff insisted we had to book the truck from yesterday and if we we late moving our furniture out after May 13th that they would give us a couple of days grace. This is a HORRIBLE situation and we don't know what to do about it. We need storage from May 1st to May31st!!!

I moved in no problem in an hr. Came back a few days later and I didn't realize what time it was and phone was in car outside and my girlfriend and I were just organizing our storage locker and we lost track of time. It was around 11pm(10pm is closing time)when we finished and I didn't think anything of it. So we locked it up and closed the door. Got in my car to drive out and tried my code numerous times and it wouldn't work then we called uhaul phone number provided on google maps and it took an hr to get the gate opened. Finally the staff got it opened and we went home to bed. Next time we went was a few days later and my code didn't work and it was locked I got punished with a only during store hrs access. That sucked for us cause we both work long hrs and have kids. I tried to talk to manager and she was rude, short and unprofessional with very poor customer service and she wouldn't bug on the rules. A few more days go by and there was another lock on my locker provided by the manager for apparently smoking and leaving garbage. I called she was rude, short and unprofessional. But also kicked me out with 48hrs notice. Before the end of the month. So now we have to find another place to store stuff for 7 days till we move not very helpful to our already busy schedule. It has really put us in a bind financially and a waste of our time. 1 mistake and 1 cigarette but in the hallway near the door to exit the building and we get evicted. In my opinion this was all due to horrible customer service and a grumpy manager.

The storage units that I rented had mice and /or rat feces, some of the my fellow customers said they saw rats, I never did actually see either but there was a lot of feces.

When we went to take our items out of storage. They were covered in mice droppings. When we told the staff they informed us that there was a unit next to us with food. Please call me 7789970070

Better control of mice. Once we moved out there was TONS of mice poop and a dead mouse under our things. We had to throw out alot of our belongings.

This Uhaul was a mixed bag. The staff were wonderful, access was great. Security was good. My unit had no light in it. After three months of storage I discover a lot of fresh mouse scat everywhere!

Rat or mouse poop was in our unit And when we rented uhaul truck they canceled on us 3x. Manager said she couldn't help us at all and that we would have to deal with it .

Multiple times my Auto-Pay was not used, and then I was charged a late fee which was collected via my auto-pay! The hours were ok, but would have been better if open later (at least until 9pm).

Think it is wrong that when I gave up my locker on April 6 did not get a refund for 3 weeks and payment was made March 28, yet you got to rent it right away. VERY VERY WRONG. Stealing
