Communication. A lot of the people I talked to had no idea what was going on. I got several calls about the same thing, and they delivered my uboxes to the wrong location. Someone at the Vancouver store I talked to was amazing and fixed everything, but the corporate logistics seemed to be completely flawed. I would not reccomend this service to someone else.Elliott D.

They closed early and when I returned the trailer and tried to enter, the doors were locked but not properly as they opened enough to set off the alarm. The first problem was I rented movers that were recommended by your company. I had to call them numerous times noone answered mailbox full, I emailed them when they responded back was told Oh I didn't see your reservation. I was told 9:30 the first time then I was called back and told 11:00, I was then sent pictures of the job workers were doing they finally showed up at my house at 4:00. I paid for 2 hours at $75 an hour. Getting that late my husband and I moved 95 % of furniture and all boxes. The movers were there for only 1 hour and it cost me $150.00. What really pissed me off is the whole move came to traveling 8 miles from U-Haul back to U-Haul my husband put $7 worth of gas into it and it did show full. The worker charged us $11 for gas. So we paid $18 for gas to ride 8 miles. Sounds like a rip off to meAnn Marie G.

This was going to be a pretty bad review. But Uhaul made it right! We had initially ordered a Ubox to move from RI to Largo, FL Uhaul location, with a storage unit confirmed online at the same Largo, FL location. Meaning, we'd have the Uhaul Box at the Largo location to unload to our reserved storage unit at the same location. When we arrived to check in for our storage unit, we were informed that our unit was in fact not available! For whatever reason, the reservation website allowed us to reserve a unit that was not even available. We were told this at time of check-in. We had to get a storage unit at another facility, which meant we now had to pay $128 for the delivery fee to another location!!! We visited the Largo, FL office and mentioned that we were not happy as this was not in the moving budget, and we had felt (for lack of a better description): betrayed. We bit the bullet and paid the $128 to have the Ubox moved down the street to a new storage unit location. What else could we do?! To our surprise and delight, Uhaul refunded our $128 a few days later! We are beyond thrilled with their attention to this disruption. Thank you to the Largo, FL Uhaul team! Safety chain was put on by a professional. After driving 1200 miles all the bumps caused 1 link of chain to get stick in tie rod. Lady in office was only concerned about charging me for service guy to come out even after showing pictures. After 2 hours going back and forth with her 6 new neighbors helped me get it off. Horrible customer service in largo Florida. Went to 3 locations to return equipment. One would not take dolly. Had to find another location. Young kid who took dolly off was very nice!! Have more informative receipts!! I spent half an hour trying to decipher the charges, then another 45 minutes being transferred all over the planet until Kay at 1-877-468-4285 was able to figure it all out. Upon dropping off the trailer I rented, I pulled into the line that is marked drop off equipment here and was then harassed by "Roman". He complained that I just pinned my truck in line, and I wouldn't be able to get out now. I mentioned very politely, there was only one van in front of me with the other lane completely blocked and was doing what the sign stated to do. I then stated I understand that when the van I parked behind was checked in, i would be next. Worst case, someone could have moved the van up three feet and I could easily get out after dropping off my trailer. He then yelled I'm the only one working today. The other customer that was standing in line with me was also surprised at his temper. Just after that another employee walked in to help the next customer. Thought he was the only one working??? That employee mentioned to me to wait by my truck. So, I then went out as directed by the other employee and waited by my truck. Roman then took his time..., then out of the blue, he unhooked the trailer from my truck and dropped it on the ground with a loud crash and yelled at me your done. He then went inside and disappeared. I asked the other employee where he went and what was that guy's name. Good grief!!! No, I won't come back, I won't recommend anyone. I know we're all shorthanded, we are in my job also, I can assure you I would be fired if I spoke to one of my customers, the way he spoke to me and treated me.Robert B.

I was forced to move to another facilities after being in my storage unit for 4 months because U haul decided to tear the units down ? Was moving cross country from Colorado and had reserved the AC first floor room because we were moving large furniture into it. I called multiple times to confirm that it was still available. When we arrived after all day of driving it turns out that the storage we had reserved, for months, was no longer available and that we would have to call around to random storages to find one that is (virtually impossible day of). Called around and there was nothing available. We called back and told them and then they found a storage unit was available on the second floor with AC. They did not tell me that the "second floor" was only accessible by a ladder on wheels. This made moving all of our furniture extremely difficult both in and out. My experience with uhaul workers in Michigan was excellent. Great communication, and they were there to help with any questions I had. My interaction with the workers at the Largo. FL location was a completely different experience. Zero communication, and I had no idea my box had been delivered until I happened to walk outside and see it in the parking lot. This is unacceptable in my opinion- I had hired a 3rd party moving company (who thankfully were very flexible when UHaul couldn't give me a time frame of delivery)Felicia R.

had to go to largo because the truck our Company ordered in Clearwater, was not available. They didn't have anything we could rent. So much for making reservations in advance. What a royal pain! Then we get to Largo and they don't know how to ring up a Corporate transaction. By the time we got all of this taken care of it was after 10am. Our Roadside Case Reference number is #2330480. We were left on the side of an extremely busy interstate for over 7 hours endangering our SAFETY. We had contacted Uhaul numerous times asking for assistance. We received numerous texts with incorrect timeframes, information, rude responses on call and misleading updates. Highway patrol finally had to tow us after we were told by a manager at Uhaul roadside, there's 'no magic wand' and hung up in our faces. What we went through over the weekend is absolutely inexcusable and was the worst experience we've had with any moving/truck rental company in our lives.Kartik S.

Uhaul offered lot more storage for your money, then what I had previously experienced with another storage facility. The non air conditioning units was not dusty with bugs but very clean and air tight. I will definitely use uhaul storage again and refer all I know.
