Whitney WRenting the truck was a breeze. The gentleman who waited on me was very professional. I returned the truck after hours and the process was a little tedious because of all the photos required. But overall I was very pleased and the price was reasonable.

Daniel PMonitor the manager. If he sets the example that it's okay to talk about sexual things in front of workers and customers, then you can't blame the employees for engaging. If he is disengaged and uninterested, then it makes sense why others would follow suit. The store was unkept. Bathroom was dirty. When I dropped off my UHaul in Maryland, the Maryland location was clean, courteous, and an employee even came out to assist before I entered the building. With the massive amount of military in Newport, RI and how difficult military moves can be, I really hope the location can step up its game.

The one working bay door was used by someone who was there before and I after I was done. Other than that, fantastic service and personnel!

My transaction was interrupted several times by the employee attending to other customers, which led to input mistakes where I had to provide my information more than once. The garage doors to pull vehicle inside were not functioning properly but staff was very nice and accommodating to work it somewhat manually for my use.

We all know what that means.So being in the Storage and rental business I figured,I should get a discount for the next higher up unit available. This did not happen. So, I called corporate and they said they would do something for me. In which this did not happen. I was very unhappy with the pricing of the unit but I did feel my Stuff was safe and secure.

What I do recommend, that a better is job is done with cleaning the inside window seals (full of bugs, spider webs, etc.) so a person will feel more secure in leaning their items up against the walls before placing them in a storage unit. Also, provide wipes to be able to wipe down the carts used to carry your items to and from the storage to the car. Thank you for your understanding and keep up the good work.

I had to either up+size to a 10x15 at a higher rate or downsize to an 8x10 at a slightly lower rate. Turns out the 8x10 was too small whereas a 10x10 would have been just right and a 10x15 ridiculously over sized at a premium cost. I feel like it was bait and switch. I won't be staying long.

The staff went above-and-beyond to make my U-Haul experience excellent in every way. From working with me on the front end to find U-Boxes and trailers, to pulling them out of storage at the end and placing them in a convenient location so the professional movers could pack my belongings in crates for an overseas move, to checking on us throughout to make sure everything was satisfactory... this is the standard by which every other moving/storage facility should be measured. Job well done. Highly recommend.

Moving in my storage was made "easy breezy!" Mr. Curry was also very thoughtful in providing me with a space that was as close as possible to the entry way, as I'm a senior with knee issues. The only thing though (has nothing to do with them) is that the company would try to find something that address smoking. As Soon as I got in the truck, I could tell, that someone prior smoked , EEEWWWW ! I know they cleaned it, but that smoke smell !!!!!

Upon arriving (three days before my goods are delivered) i was informed that my reservation was not available and that this storage facility doesnt even have a 10x20 space, that they use a 10x15 and a 10x5 to make it that large. Also, there were no 10x15 available, so i needed to get THREE units to get the dame footprint as a 10x20... this would not work for me as i have large items that are longer than 10 feet. The staff seemed un-caring and unhelpful. I ended up paying more at a competitor storage facility for a 10x20 that wasn't falsely advertised. Also, i dont own a unit here and i am getting pelted with emails, STOP!
