The entire experience was horrible. After calling me two days before my pick up, I arrived at a new location after paying $20 in an uber to find out they did not have a truck for me. Spent an hour at the location to be told I had to pay to take an Uber to Linden paying another $20. I reserved a one way renter but ended up having to drive back to Jersey from Maryland. Spending an additional $30 in tolls, $60 in gas and $70 to take a train back to Maryland. I WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN.

My original contract was broken. We did not receive the truck we reserved two weeks from the dates we needed the truck. Called corporate to reserved the rental. Spoke with a human. Received my email confirmation. And still, you got it wrong. Needed help. Was lied to when I rang corporate again. Received no assistance, support, help. We were literally stuck in the dark, outside with our belongings. I will never use u-haul again. And I will be writing multiple reviews on my hideous treatment and terrible experience. And all I have to do is tell the truth. Your customer service is absolute trash.

Corporate changed my pickup location and nobody notified me. The Scotch Plains location (where I made the original reservation) employee was a complete asshole, mask below nose, couldn't be bothers to get his ass out of the chair to even help me.

I left my EZ pass in the cargo van. Could not reach location so I had to call Uhaul and wait on the phone and they were also unable to get a hold of the Linden location so they she a message for the general manager and I have not heard back.

Turned in van on the day it was due handed in keys and everything and was called the next day stating that i did not return the vehicule which was very unprofessional

I don't think most it was anything at your end. The service with Verizon has been crap for the last 3 weeks, and it took me almost an HOUR to check my vehicle out on the app/website. The only problem was that my reservation was at 8am, and at 8:05, it wouldn't prompt me to my lock box access. I needed to wait until someone got into the office at 830 to resend me a link, and even then it took a while to work.

Make sure you have the truck that was reserved one month prior available on the day that was scheduled for. The truck I reserved was given to someone else the night before and that person did not return on time.

I rented van for 53$ and front desk was so kind to let me have van for a few more hours and i asked if i was going to be charged and she said no. Turns out i got charged way more then expected . Still waiting for call back from them .

I was asked if I wanted the optional insurance. I declined and when I was emailed my final bill, the charge was present. I went back and was told that I was given a 20. credit which was not a credit but the difference from what was billed and what was taken from my credit/debit card. I was then told to return on Monday to speak with a manager. Someone is being dishonest.

Best prices easy in and out service. You need to advertise more I usually use Penske but they are price gauging their 15 ft truck went from 29.99 to 199.99 a day !!!

I called the night before to reconfirm my pick up time . When I get there they are short of staff.. and backed up. It took me about 90 min to get my rental pick up. By the time I received the tuck and start driving off it turned off too late to pick up the bedroom set I was suppose to get from LETGo... so upset this ruined my way and they still have the guts to charge me full price!

Location service was good I reserved my truck and Tow dollie over the phone- Outside of holding for a total of 1 1/2 hours, once i did reach a rep they seemed agitated with my questions as if I was wasting their time. When I mentioned I had been holding for quite some time, I was snapped at with a response of “well we are very busy” I will remember this experience the next time I need to rent a truck. I'd rather pay more for BETTER service

I returned the rental after hours the app wouldn't register my return, and I was never able to register my return and the wait time from customer service was unacceptable.

The location on the website did not work so when I returned the vehicle at 9pm for my 1030 drop off, I tried for over an hour and was unable to log the truck for drop off. I called the 800 number and was on hold for close to 40 minutes for the 10-15 wait time then hung up. I called again today and was hung up again. Terrible experience.

first thing is first, we got there before line, stood in line for over an hour in the heat, yes i understand that due to COVID-19, but when you have so many online reservation, i dont understand what's the point of even doing so? Weekends are pretty busy in places like this. Also, I did receive a txt to check your trailer before you leave, yes granted we did not, BECUASE THE LOT WAS FULL, I COULDNT EVEN PULL UP TO THE HITCH TO THE TRUCK (I ALSO RENTED FROM UHAUL) THE LOCATION IS JUST TIGHT FOR A WEEKEND MORNING. THE LEFT LOCK FOR THE RAM WAS MISSING, SO I HAD TO PROLONG MY TRIP GOING HOME TO GOTO THE WORST WALMART IN THE WORLD TO BUY CAR BUNGEE CHORDS. More money spent, like 23700 isn't enough. My over all exp. I'll find another location or another company if need be. including, i do have pictures for the missing lock!

Location was not opened in timely manner and had to wait outside with 6 ft. Distance, 2nd employee came late . There were 10 - 12 people in line to picked up truck when this location was opened up. I denied safemove protection and the representative told Me he will remove it in system and on paper he crossed it out and now I am Here to return and I got chrged $14 for safemove. I am trying to return vehicle with U-Haul.com/share and it says you have no rentals or reservations and I am On call with customer service line and not getting any representative on line and waiting on hold for 23 minute therefore i had to do review. Please call to discuss. Thank You

I will never recommend my friends/ family to uhaul @ 1440 Edgar road because on numerous occasions i reported my items in my unit was damaged from the rain. The issues was never repaired.

Please fix or update the computer system at the store as it delayed customers' reservations to get processed. It happened to a custumet who reserved a moving truck. It took about 30 mns to get service
