I was not happy at all for 2 reason, #1 I rwnt the truck and a utility dolly which the dolly did not came in the truck, #2 I rwnt thw truck for 8 hours and I was able to use it just 5 hours I was hoping to get 3 hours refunds but still I got charge for the 8 hours

I had a horrible experience renting a truck from Uhaul. I will never rent from Uhaul again, I ended up been charged one thought dollars for a rental that shouldnâ€™t never been more than $200. I pay the tolls cash and they still send me violations for supposedly not paying the tolls, I had to prove with the receipts I kept from the tolls both (thank God I did) otherwise they wouldâ€™ve had charged me for something that was already paid. The whole experience was a nightmare

Iâ€™m very dissatisfied with uhaul. I put my reservation in on Monday 12-9 at 222 Clinton place in Newark. When I went to pick up my rental, I was told they couldnâ€™t rent me the truck for 1 way because it was for local use. My reservation clearly was for 1 way. They send me to another place on Sherman ave in Elizabeth. But when I got there, they didnâ€™t have the rental I needed either. They were able to find a rental place in linden to help me. The whole experience has really made to never want to use the services again.

Had a horrible experience. Rent a 26ft U-Haul truck back on 11/20. Scheduling department had called me 3 times to change the pick up location. In the midst of them changing the pick up locations multiple times they had also changed the truck to a 20ft truck. When we picked up the truck it was 6:00am Via mobile app which is why we couldnâ€™t change it at the time since The location was not open yet. This caused major delays in our move as we are down to a much smaller truck, had to do more trips then anticipated, and pay out of pocket additional movers and helpers as we had to do more trips. Tried calling customer service and got no assistance. Tried calling manager at location 3 times and they keep telling me heâ€™s out of the office And to call back

THIS was the WORSE experience I've e ER had with UHaul. My original pick up was supposed to be in Plainfield Nj (spk w/Leon). However due to the Unprofessionalism, Lack of Communication, No Follow Thru, and a broken down 26/ft truck that was NEVER REPAIRED, I had to drive OUT OF MY WAY to Linden Nj to pick up a 26/ft truck. Your customers should feel valued, and deem UHaul as the :Go To" for their moving needs. I'm going to reconsider my options the next time I move.

The rate of $0.99 a mile shown on the app when I reserved it was the not the price we got. We were charged $1.99 a mile because it was a Saturday. Would have been nice to know before reserving

My debit bank card was charged for the initial rental of my truck but when I returned to drop off the vehicle I rented I paid cash for my rental truck but still havenâ€™t been refunded my money to my card and itâ€™s been over 2 days .

My first reservation was at the Elizabeth location. Sign states open at 7am. Did not open until 7:30am. My Trailer was not available due to previous customer did not return on time. No other trailer was available. I suggested the Linden location. They had one. I traveled to Linden, received trailer and was on my way. Upon arrival, no line, no waiting, good service at Linden.???? Due experience at Elizabeth Location ????

I was over charged on miles. I called and asked about it, the response they gave was very absurd, "that I could had easily made 42 miles stoping here and there" Crazy! I wouldn't rent from this store any more.

I had a rude awakening when they told me my bill was around $35. I thought I was renting a truck for $19.99. It was not explained to me that also have to pay $2 per mile because it was the weekend. Had I known that I would have rented the truck in the middle of the week. Additionally, I was cold I can pay cash for the rental. But was not told $100 be held on my credit card which I did not have available. I just would have appreciated complete information and transparency. I might have gone to another truck rental but it was now too late. Nothing was mentioned about the cost of insurance either but I made the reservation . U-Haul was the first to start my aggravating day, because I had to move money around and it started my day late. I don't think I'll ever use you all again. I should have known about the $2 per mile, the cost of insurance, and about the $100 hold on a credit card if you pay cash before I got there. Terrible reservation customer service for these reasons.

Truck was in poor condition. Pick up on it was bad. Weâ€™re told by staff that mirrors were likely â€œbrokenâ€ and Thatâ€™s why we werenâ€™t able to adjust them which is a hazard and made it difficult to drive.
