I was called at 7 something AM and told mis information that created undue panic/suffering during an already stressful time. This drop off location and corporate have not provided customer service but instead created much more stress than necessary. We will not be using u haul service again in the future due to the poor service, lack of communication on your end, and unwilling to make reasonable supports to help when errors where made on your side.

Located in Longview,WA 98632 very disappointed with the pricing as I was told $79 on the phone and when I showed up for a viewing they show me a unit NOT available but for sizing???

DARBY HEverything was an easy process. All of my questions were answered precisely and the truck we rented was clean & drove perfect. The customer service reps were very friendly and knowledgeable. Told me to download the app & make the process easier for me. They were correct. And we were told that if we had any issues to just call and we would be taken care of. This is service seldom experienced anymore.
MICHEAL SIt is really cold in there and probably the fire extinguisher covers should be painted a brighter color. They blend into the wall too much and my grandson did not see it and bumped his head pretty badly.

George CGo back to policy of fuel being topped off when trucks etc. are picked up. Then custumer topping fuel off on return. A couple gallons of fuel may not move needle. Right now it is too much guesswork to determine correct amount of fuel ,potentially costing customer more financial hardships on top of other moving costs.

Staff were very helpful with getting tow dolly hooked up and ensuring car was strapped down appropriately, but I wasn't sure if I should tow the car in park or neutral and they weren't sure either. Felt a little like they were in a hurry to finish with us because it got busy while we were there, which was understandable.

paul LI thought the location was just fine. The employees were fine and helpful. The app for checking out the damages to the truck was terrible. It kept glitching and I had to do it three times. when I tried to input the mileage, it kept glitching. I finally just gave up and let it keep the incorrect mileage on it. Since it was only off by 1 mile, I only had to pay an extra 0,69 cents. Tell the app management people to do better.

Joseph CThere was a continuous mud puddle in front of my unit that never went away and was never cleaned up. There was no light in the unit. The manager(Amber) was extreamly rude. The manager violated fedetal law and took illegal action against me durring bankruptcy proceedings. The manager refused to communicate with me after I pointed out that her actions were unlawful. Having a known conflict of interest, the manager proceeded to execute the sale of my stored good in blatent violation of local, state and federal law. Through favortism and the known conflict of intetest the manager eliminated bidding competition for my stored goofs and liquidated thousands of dollars in personal property for just $60. My advice: AVOID THIS STORAGE FACILITY AT ALL COST!

Aria BThe problem was I was told I was confirmed on a one way 5X8 open trailer to Arlington, from Longview wa. My credit card was taken and I was told to pick a date and time in which I did. Two days before the pick up of the rental I was told it was no longer available, that the closest unit was in a different state, about 2 hour from ny home. Customer service New Year's Eve stated everything was fine, however the following morning, New Year's Day I received a message indicating Melissa in customer service was not correct. The unit was still out of state. The long story short the GM at the location, Amber made everything right. And she was extremely professional and pleasant to work with. After the rollercoaster of inaccurate information, I ended up picking up the unit on the date and time I had originally requested at the home town site. So thank you Amber! I really appreciated you!!!!!!!

Walked me through the the entire process of getting into and out of my storage unit and all the useful tips and tricks of navigating the facility quickly. (How fast to swipe my Access control card, what doors to use, how to use my ladder and equipment safely, when and where the best place to park would be) I could tell that they took their job serious and wanted me to have a good experience and they were upbeat and friendly during the process. I'll definitely be renting here again if the need arises in the future.

Also for people who work late. Ur gate access hours should be 24hrs. It would be much more convenient.

NANCY A | Premières impressionsI had mouse droppings on the top of every surface. My unit was 5×5×10, and the top was completely open to the insulation and the pieces of it keep falling down. The electric outlets near my unit didn't have any power. When I told the ladies about the mouse droppings and told them I had pictures ( I told them I didn't care but it probably should be looked into) they said it was impossible and didn't happen. They also asked over and over if I sweeped it or left someone in the unit? I was very confused and kinda offended that they didn't believe me the first 2 times.

teresa d | Premières impressionsWe decided to stop storing our stuff there because it just didn't feel safe. People would walk in the gate as I'm driving in or out, the gate was stuck open for quite awhile one day. The number of people who would be there for hours, just hanging out in their storage unit or unloading it all and blocking aisles and/or driving lanes was ridiculous. Half the time we couldn't use a cart because one person was using all of them to sort their stuff on or sit on while sorting. People having their dogs running loose inside the facility wasn't reassuring, how am I supposed to know those dogs are friendly? People using the fire doors and propping them open so they can get in and out, even though there's a notice on the doors saying not to or you get a fine. Most of the staff was friendly but the guy I dealt with when paying last was rude, unfriendly, and made me feel embarrassed for having to search for change. We had an issue with bugs in our unit. There were ants everywhere and we had no food items in our unit. When contacting the office about it, they acted like they were "put out" because I wanted the issue dealt with. Lots of spiders also, a lot! It was a lot of small things that just kept adding up and it got to the point that we didn't feel like our belongings were safe, that we would be in a safe environment if we had to go there, and we were worried about bugs happening again. Manager was about the only positive about the entire experience.

I rented a storage locker and as we went thru the steps it takes to do that she was patient and friendly and explained it all as we went along. I am an older women and electronically challenged but she didn't seem to mind even when I needed her to explain my phone to me. I left there feeling good. I would say my impression was that they were friendly knowledgeable patient and held themselves to a high standard of customer care. Nice people.

I look at that as someone in upper management is not doing there job. You have onsite cameras so its easy to moniture day and night. So if the door is shut for what ever you would determam to long. Check it out. Its storage not for doing art and crafts. Or sut and read or work on projects. ?. Theres many options. Keep in mind offering 24 hours access us nice. One big thing offering that. with lighting opens up a possible libility case do to injury ect.. Put more derect lighting across from each unit so the would have to be open and when you sign in that light comes on. When door opens. Or how everyou would determan when and how light comes on. You might want to add a third option for your questions. Because, it's not fair to expect people to only have either a, 'Yes or No' response. You will end up with a very unrealistic review and not receive an accurate response. The ONLY reason I did not click 'No' for some of the questions, is because of the employees that work at this facility. They are very nice, helpful, flexible and professional. I do not like ONLY unrealistic 'Yes or No' answer choices. So, out of disapproval of your answer choices, I would have typically answered, 'NO,' to ALL of your questions on your questionnaire. It appears to me, that you want a unrealistic review. Getting a review summary that is askew, really doesn't provide the U-Haul Corporation with much insight. We have to earn your trust when we pay your wages hmm no thats not right. Second the unit I got this time is a 5x8 and 20 dollars more a month then my old unti which was a 5 by 10 and no one would tell me why. The facility inside the units smelled like urine and no one answers the call buttons on any of the intercoms. Highly dissatisfied this go around

One locking slide was damaged and we could only use one lock on a large unit (instead of two), but no damage or theft occurred to our belongings/unit in our short 6-week rental period. Access was a tight fit for big trucks or trailer, lots of waiting to access your unit. Overall a good option for a stopover between houses/move. Our 10x20 fit most of our belongings for a 3 bedroom house.

Also had to climb Up a ladder to get into a 2 foot entrance, due to the beam coming through the ceiling right above the entry of the unit. The cherry on the cake is to open the unit and A huge puddle in the middle. The ceiling looked like it had been repaired many times, but never correctly. I feel so horrible for the peron that has stuff under this unit being wood floors. employees were very nice and friendly. Went somewhere else due to them not having anything under $90 that's dry.

The ceiling is just a piece of plastic that covers about half of unit and the rest is exposed nails and some kind of spray insulation or something. The hallways and unit were not cleaned or maintained. I'm not when the halls were last swept or mopped as they were filthy. The mouse or rat trap was very large and kept falling apart. Access into the unit was horrible. Only one door usable when we arrived and so had to move things hundreds of feet down a narrow hallways then to the left and the units door swings out so you have to close it to get past it then open it and try and angle your larger belongings in. When moving out there was water dripping down from the roof in the hallway just a few feet down from my unit. This place is in serious need of maintenance, upkeep, and repairs. Would not recommend at all.

There's often kids playing in between buildings while parents do god knows what in their unit. I urge you to look at NW self storage in ridgefield and camas That's how a facility should look and be run. I don't feel unsafe accessing my stuff. Staff is helpful and never rude. Property is clean

I was told 64 over the phone for the unit and upon arrival told 99. It was a very tight area to maneuver a 26ft uhaul. The only door that was allowed to be used locked and said that I wasn't signed in so had to go out and sign in again then trek all the way back and down the long long hall to put the lock on. The floors were filthy and the huge rodent poison trap kept falling apart. All around will never suggest this place for storage. The ceilings in the units are all exposed nails and spray insulation with a flap of plastic over about half of the unit.

I watched one clerk deal with a very very very obnoxious customer and towards the end not even the most experienced worker would have been able to keep their cool. But she was calm and didn't even show a hint of irritation even though we all knew it was there. My problem with this facility is the fact that for one there is no elevator to the second floor. What if you have really heavy items. There should be something in place. My second concern is the second story storages on the second floor. Climbing those rickety stairs with heavy objects is a unbelievably dangerous and unnerving task.
