I had trouble checking in by phone and got very little assistance from the associate at the desk.

Van smelled strongly of cigarettes, otherwise it was clean, but I cannot rate a vehicle as clean if it reeks of cigarette smell. Not adequate parking for personal vehicle. All staff was very friendly and helpful except they didn't do a walk around to acknowledge any previous damage and there was no walk around after turn in. Of all Uhaul rentals I've done over a decade this was a first.

I chose contactless pick up and the key to my truck was not in the designated lock box. Also had to walk around the block to get from the truck to the key location. Took 2 trips back and forth which is a lot of walking.

so glad there was a site open on Sunday afternoon! was told to use the website check-in instead of the phone app (phone app has bugs I guess?) and that worked after a few tries (first time I'd checked equipment in via web with photos).

It would have been nice to receive a truck with a full tank of gas. This was a long haul, one way rental that we had to fill it with gas before we even left town. This was disappointing since we have always had excellent customer service from this location.

We had trouble with online check in and The guys behind the counter basically acted like we were bothering them when we went inside and asked for help - they told us and another customer who was also having check in issues that they couldn't help.

They seemed to be short-handed that day, but the man at the front counter was more than willing to help me out to make sure my car dolly, tire straps were secured to the vehicle, and everything was hooked up properly. I sincerely appreciated his help! Great service!

The "use your phone to get your truck" Was terrible, it said my location wasnt on when it was which prevented me from returning the truck appropriately. I brought this to the GM working and he was so so mean and Non-chalant the GM should be more willing to help. His answers were short and filled with sarcastic remarks. In my 35 years, He ranked 2nd of the worst customer service experience. I will never do business at that Location and I will never use my phone to get a u-haul.

I found you website confusing and because of that I had to make two trips to the pick up location to make sure I understood INTOWN meaning and to make sure I had my reservation, email sent to me said it was still holding my quote. My cargo van was great but on line experience, not so good. ON OMG try to talk to someone on the phone. 3 calls total of 1.30 mins still no one answered. So made the drive instead. Not so good. S. I'm a commercial customer. I use U-Haul several times a month. Lately I'm unable to rent for more than 1 day. Also I made my commercial reservations by phone this past time with no problems. When I arrived I was told that My Account was “Locked” the store said I would have to pay street rates if I wanted to rent the truck he suggested I call billing to see why my account was locked. I took his advice and called corporate I was sent to voice message and 3 days later no one has contacted me to resolve my account issues. The store indicated that my CC on file was expired. I used the same credit card that I have on file with no issues. The store was absolutely not going to lift a finger to help solve my issue.

The online check in is an extremely long process, waiting for approval is ridiculously long. The whole process took more than 30 minutes, which cut into my time to move since I only had 4 hours. The contact free process needs updated.

It was easy to pick up the empty boxes but quite difficult to get them. More than an hour on the phone because the web site didn't allow user to enter a delivery address and the service center couldn't or wouldn't change it. Finally when Briola in Wichita called about delivering, we got the address corrected. Briola was awesome and saved the day.

Arrived at 11pm. Spoke with representatives earlier that day and the previous day. I let them know I would be in late. They made no mention that I would not have access after hours. Next morning. Based on the unit number we assumed the unit was on the 2nd floor. No stairs anywhere...eventually we realized we needed to take the freight elevator just to find the unit. Silly and excessive, stairs would be fast and efficient. The first representative I talked to said there would be a lock in the storage locker. The next day second representative said there would be no lock. So of course I had to pick up a lock. Finding a lot to three trips to different stores. Eventually I found one and of course there was a lock in the locker. Not sure why they were the mixed signals. Two days ago I called about the free first day for college students promotion based on the COVID-19 move out. I was told I would receive a phone call in return. I’m still waiting

Uhaul overheated n shut down multiple times while towing. However the roads where wet so the tow function was off for majority of the 600mile trip. And I left my boys Nintendo in the Uhaul. Lol.
