Manager on duty was not helpful, appeared to be disgruntled and angry. Her tone and attitude to PCard customers and employees was completely unacceptable. I asked if she could help me and without making eye contact she said “I need to go out to the lot” and walked off. I eventually got help from another associate after waiting 15 more minutes and she ended up charging me two days because the “system” showed I had the truck 16 minutes longer than 24 hours. The employee stated she forgot to check or uncheck some box and then needed to correct it but wasn’t sure how in the state. The employee asked the manager, who seemed bothered by the employee asking a question. Again, without making eye contact with the employee, she barked out directions on what to do in the system to fix. The employee couldn’t fix it, so the manager had to access the system and fix it. While in the system, the manager appeared angry and frustrated and barked out “you need to learn this stuff”, presumably talking to employee who wasn’t even there. The manager was using some profanity (talking to herself), but clearly unhappy in her job. How this person ever became a manage is beyond me. Last comment, UHaul, in my opinion is headed toward a class action lawsuit with deceptive practices aimed at generating additional income. It would appear associates are trained to do unethical things and I have witnessed this on multiple occasions, in multiple locations. When a truck is returned, I believe associates are trained to round up the actual gas gauge to the next higher quarter tank level. This forces customers to either walk back in and correct, put more gas back in the truck than they used, or gas up the truck for what they actually used and get charged a premium per gallon for UHaul to claim was a shortage on gas by the customer. I have literally seen this on multiple occasions at two different locations. Deceptive trade practices as a standard to drive profits will one day cost the company millions. Someone with ethics in executive leadership should step up before they’re forced to. Remember this comment, it will come back to bite you one day.

Uhaul I do not agree with this extra charge. My drop off was contracted to be in Shepherd not CLEVELAND, miles away. I confirmed Shepherd with the agent that gave me the truck. You changed the delivery location by text after I rented the truck. This cost me extra gasoline, time and miles. I rented the truck with 1/4 tank and returned the truck with 3/4 of a tank. I confirmed that I would not be charged extra with the agent to whom I returned the truck. Please remove the extra charge from my credit card. The exact drop off time should be on all email correspondence. The emails I received say to drop off "by Wednesday" with NO SPECIFIC TIME which I did but unfortunately it was a few hours after it was due so we were charged another day. Very frustrating again! Overall, it was a good trailer, the exact size we needed but the process was NOT GOOD because of the pick up change on UHauls part and the extra day charge. Please change your emails to include THE EXACT TIME TO DROP OFF. The emails have the exact times for pick up (between 9am-12pm) so I feel like the drop off time is excluded so you get the extra charges.

The equipment bay where I was directed to drive up was wet (they were pressure washing trucks/trailers there) and my car interior got wet as I had to step in puddles of dirty water to get in/out. Also, I was directed to "fold the blankets" I had rented with the trailer, otherwise I'd be "charged a folding fee..." I don't recall this being part of the rental, or being told about this beforehand - I spent 15 minutes in the return lot folding blankets before I could finish my return.

The gas meter was not working properly. I pick up a truck with half tank gas but the next day when I was ready to return, the tank meter was showing gas is full. I was so confused. Then I call the manager and they told me to put 12-gallon gas just in case. That was a lot more than I used. But I was scared to run out of gas.

This location is fine. But the one in 290 and Fairbanks worst experience ever I wouldn't recommend anyone to 290 and Fairbanks location worst customer experience ever. I felt discriminated at this location. Thanks uhaul at 290 especially to the young lady the work Sunday morning April 28.

I had a reservation at 8am at the Fairbanks location and when I arrived they had no trailer. I was upset to say the least since I had made the reservation three days earlier. I then went to the Memorial City location and they had plenty of trailers. The employees were very nice, the trailer was in excellent condition, and they got me out of there in a very short amount of time. The return of the trailer took less than five minutes. Excellent experience at the Memorial City location.

I'm contractor and bin longer than 8 years customer of this location. I rent usually trailer. Each time the new manager is there, she started to find something to don't rent me the trailer. One time she didn't rented me because the 2nd phone number didn't respond. I said this is my wife phone number and she worked last night and she is sleeping. She spoke with very bad language and said it's enough to sleep. The Manager is very rude. The second time she said internet is not working and she can rent me anything. I said you have 4 big and 5 small trailer out there. She said you should reserve is online. I never experimented a person like this person in Uhaul. Since she is there I changed to Home Depot rental.

Unfortunately, we have been renting from this location for quite sometime, but will no longer return. Always under the impression that rentals are 24 hours, which technically has always been the case. I was asked a time which I would return the utility trailer and gave my best guesstimate. I returned the trailer within a 24hr time period and was charged an additional day. I guess the trailer was working while it was parked in my driveway overnight. Ridiculous.

When we dropped of the Tow Dolly on 3/28/19, we had no issues. They received the Dolly with no problem. When we called the day the Uhaul truck was due (3/29/2019) in order to extend the rental for one more day, the agent was extremely rude on the phone and aggressive. He DEMANDED that we return the truck back to their facility immediately because he already had it rented to another customer. I advised that I would not return it because I needed it for one more day and was advised when I received the truck that I could extend with a simple phone call. I called the Uhaul main line and was able to extend with no problem. The gentleman on the phone at this Old Katy Road facility needs to learn about customer service and how to speak with customer rather than yell at them on the telephone.

We rent your equipment almost weekly from this location and all the staff are friendly and very helpful. They also follow U-Haul rules because I had an expired DL but up to date insurance card and they wouldn’t let me get my reservation. It was annoying but that was on me.

I filled out all of the rental requirements online and checked in online but still had to go through the entire process when checking in at the location. The rental process is incredibly slow and cumbersome and seems unnecessary given that modern technology enables me to rent a car or a house in a quarter of the time it takes me to rent a trailer. Made the reservation online. Just to find out the day off that the location doesn’t have what I needed. Why then do you give me this location option online? This is the 3rd time this has happened. Never using this service again. At the location they first said they didn’t have our reservation before admitting the real reason was they don’t have one way trucks. By the time we found a location that could help 3 hours had passed and we ended up with an enormous truck that actually made the move inconvenient as it’s harder to park and drive. Thanks to this delay we the 3 people that were going to help us in the morning were not able to. My husband had to move everything himself and then wait till 7pm that some friends could come and help. So now it’s to late to drive to our destination, meaning the help we had plan on having to unload wasn’t going to work either. It was a huge struggle to move and now I am left with an apartment full of furniture that I need to put together and move alone as we lost the day we were going to do this because of your small mistake. We plan for a reason and thought we were being extra diligent by having a truck already reserved. And the store clerk was very rude as well with a “not my problem” attitude. Like I said this was the 3rd time this has happened to me where you don’t honor a reservation. Done with Uhaul.

Vehicle had numerous unmarked scratches// spent 15 min adding x’s, clerks computer would not work had to go to another computer, manager referred me to Greenhouse Fiume and told me they only charged $40 but ended up paying $75 plus extra mileage. I orders the U-Haul down the street from me obviously to save on mileage. When my husband gets their they send him across the city because they didn’t have it there. There was also another 3 U-Haul stores near us. Why not choose one closer instead of sending us so far away charging us extra miles. We got charged about 20 extra miles that were not nessasary.

Rented from this location several times no problems. The gentleman that checked me in was helpful and professional. Upon returning vehicle, I was not satisfied. I arrived at 6:50 pm (closes at 7pm) & parked the truck. I proceeded to go inside to check out but the door was locked even though it wasn’t 7pm. A black male came to the door mumbling through the entrance while another employee flicked the lights on and off. Couldn’t hear him so he came outside & employee inside flicked lights on & off again. I was informed it was 5 minutes to closing so the manager closed up & I could go online to check out. My phone was dead so I wanted to walk in & check out. He said - “well we’re closed”. I asked for his name & he grabbed at his name tag on his shirt to show me his name was Richard. I told him - “being rude isn’t a good way to keep customers”. He told me - “that’s ok” & walked back in. I ended up having to use my son’s phone & spent at least 20 minutes checking out online & was finally able to but the receipt came in my sos’ name. While I was standing outside attempting to check out, Richard came out to do something in the front of the store. This was unacceptable behavior. Time is valuable as I have TWO elderly sick parents that I was trying to get back home to. The time that these Uhaul employees spent being rude, unprofessional & inconsiderate could have been spent checking me out!

I have been renting from this location for years and this was first time I have been treated like a 3rd rate customer. 1) My drivers license was photographed with what looked like a personal cell phone. Who knows how that's going to be used in the future? 2) I had to have a 2nd contact reference CALLED. This means I had to find someone to answer a telephone call from UHAUL and explain to them why I was renting a trailer (total BS). 3) Trailer was still covered in mud when I picked it up. After #1 and #2 I could not care less about #3.

Accused me of stealing the card I was using; critiqued ME for asking to double check the trailer was clean after my last rental had oil on the floor that damaged my furniture; she also told me to load the trailer(while looking at my foot in a cast) Since she “wouldn’t” and “her employee” that normally loads the trailer “couldn’t.” Absolutely one of the worst customer services I’ve ever had and I probably won’t be using UHAUL again considering I paid $600 and was treated like dirt.
