Mary R.I rented a storage room in 12-22. For some reason, the "Auto Pay" was not set up correctly and was considered "late" on my next payment. I went to the location to correct the problem. The Assistant Manager, Ms. Narmin Ortega was extremely helpful in getting this problem resolved. She was very courteous and explained every step of the process in rectifying the problem. She made sure that the "Auto Pay" was instituted and this problem would not occur again. She is to be commended for her professionalism and knowledge of the U-Haul administrative process.

BINH T.The owner was rude and it was clear he didn't appreciate my business. For the first Time in decades of renting equipment from UHaul, I was told I could not rent the trailer unless there was telephone contact with my contacts. His whole demeanor was negative and I will never use this location again to rent equipment. The this way or the Highway mentality just doesn't present a positive atmosphere. Remember you have my credit card so if I don't return the trailer you are going to collect. Try being nice to people Alan's explain this in the process.

The young ladies that did check in and check out were very professional and courteous, and the manager (Michael?) who connected the trailer is always great, he made sure to discuss safety/security measures with me. The trailer was all beat up and dirty but Michael blew out the inside for me and offered to mop it. He said it was a one-way trailer that had just come in so the external appearance was out of his control.

The Uhaul dispatch was kinda of confusing requesting me to tow a trailer and then when I get to the pickup location, they say the truck and trailer aren't supposed to go together. It took about 45 minutes to get it all sorted out. It seems dispatch would have known what would work together beforehand? Also it seemed it was not “simple†to change my mind about not taking the trailer per the manager at the pick up location. Better communication between all parties so that no delays at time of pick up would've been good. Merci!

sheryl S.The first truck they gave us did not start. A second truck was provided. We moved our boxes and it started raining half way into the trip. When we got to the destination, many of the boxes were soaking wet and water had come down through the roof. We reported this when we returned the truck. They said they could not find a hole in the roof. They did not care that our boxes were soaking wet or their truck leaked water all over our belongings. I had pictures to show but they did not care. We were met at our destination by movers arranged through U-Haul. They unload the truck and can confirm the incident. Sorry equipment and sorry service.

Dan C.The alignment was off and truck was scary to drive Side mirrors moved on its own. Truck was moving side to side and steering wheel was not aligned. Back truck light inside bed did not work Reps did not walk me to truck and had to find truck on my own on the lot. Passenger door would not close properly. And was loose. Horrible experience with the uhaul truck itself. I was told to wait for roadside assistance to inspect the truck in the middle of my move!! Who wants or has the energy or time to wait for roadside assistance to inspect and fix a truck that's not yours in the middle of your move! There was no compensation offered , no customer service initiated and no sincerity from the employees, they were dismissive when returning the truck.

Macario H.Charles at the Bissonnet store is a hardworking person who takes ownership of clients' issues. Also, I had to extend my rental from six hours to one day. U-Haul was able to accomplish this over the phone seamlessly.

I was in luck that he had 1 truck left. The guy was nice enough to set me in another truck and get me on my way.

The customer is always right and you don't call them a liar in so many words and argue with them when yall are in the wrong! I rent from yall alot and never had a problem with any of the employees and my brother was a witness of this and even told her she was wrong arguing with me.

We arrived to unload a Uhaul we rented 1 way from Missouri 45 min before closing and the manager greeted us outside, helped us use our code to gain access and showed us to our unit. The unit was smaller then I expected and I went into office and inquired about a larger unit. Charles was very through and accommodating and found us the perfect size within our budget. He also suggested I call the 1800 number and see about dropping the uhaul at his location to make it easier for us seeing as I would have had to drive across town to drop it off. Once I spoke to a customer care agent it was no issue moving my drop location to the Bissonet store. I was So Happy and Impressed with the customer service Charles gave us and the attentiveness given so close to him getting off work. Thank you so much!

After 60 yrs. U-haul is the best. My opionion. I will recommend u-haul foreever. That is how you succed. Give that kudos.

Syverta S. | Expérience généraleThis was a very expensive space but Jorden Lewis and the staff were well trained and generally excellent and so compensated somewhat for the excessive cost. They never did get the alarm glitch straightened out and after about a dozen tries I just gave up and learned that after what seemed like eternity, the alarm stopped. Surely the neighbors got tired of hearing all the noise and the police never did come so I would say the alarm really does not work except as an irritant. I suppose it is something that can be advertised to some advantage and probably a standard for U-Haul.
