ASANA G.Reserved 17 foot truck at 6 AM that was nowhere to be found, app and website for online checkin were both excruciatingly awful and did not achieve anything, and customer service representative was rude and insinuated this was all our fault because they had someone else reserve the same truck as well, only for it to turn out that this truck had been stolen. Finally ended up getting a 15 foot truck instead, but was the absolute worst way to start a move, and I will never return to U-Haul.

carmen P.Manager behind the counter was very frustrated and upset. Apparently other locations were redirecting people to his location and he did not have inventory to support. He was vocal about this and even called another store to tell them. This was done in front of a line of customers. I understand his frustration and felt bad he was placed in that situation; furthermore, I felt bad for the people who were redirected wrongly from other locations.

edgar F.It was my first time renting a truck from Uhaul. The experience was great. Awesome customer service and a lot of willingness to help out! Only thing that I would recommend is to instruct customers on how to turn the “haul on†feature on and off. Unfortunately, I had to figure it out by myself and I wish I had been told about it prior to me getting in the truck. Aside from that, everything was fantastic.

ERIC G.We had a 24 hour trip and the stereo went out in les than an hour. We had to ride through 3 states with no stereo. Also, the transmission almost sent out. We had to drive up hills going 30 miles below the speed limit the last 3 hours. The truck wouldn't shift out of 4th gear and it sounded like it would break down any moment!

The staff was efficient, but his management screwed him and the customer with staffing 1 guy on a Saturday morning and crappy software / website. He suggested that we do a pre check in while waiting in line. I went to said link from my email and it simply took me to the main UHaul webpage. Get it together, UHaul higher ups.

Jeffrey K.Know that all Black people do not steal and are fully capable of handling and taking care of rental vehicles. Know that all Black people do not have ill intentions. Know that Black people can comprehend and are not illiterate. Know that all Black people are not liars. I am just moving to the area and the attendant insinuated all of these things in the way in which he interacted with me. Additionally, his tone of voice was very condescending. I had already reserved the truck and had already paid. All I needed to do was pick up and get to my complex to move in. The attendant said he could not find my reservation and made a simple process a complicated one. So much so that I almost missed my move in appointment. More organization and correspondence with online processes would be great. The attendant claimed he needed 2 additional people to add to my contract to ensure that the truck would not be in danger or stolen because it had happened at the location before.. I would not recommend this location to anyone I care about. Moving is already stressful and having attendants that behave in an unprofessional manner is something one should not have to encounter. Perhaps training focused on positive interactions with people of Color would be beneficial!
Kristal G.You have no place for me to rate the original pick up location (2117 Shepherd Dr, Houston, TX 77007) that didn't have the truck I had reserved and that you had called me the morning prior to confirm. I would rate the location overall as poor, the equipment clean and well maintained - NO, and Recommend to a friend - NO. Them not having it meant I had to drive 30mins to the location above, another 30mins back home. This made me late for the movers to load, and made me miss the scheduled movers on the other end of my trip. NOT happy.

We arrived to unload a Uhaul we rented 1 way from Missouri 45 min before closing and the manager greeted us outside, helped us use our code to gain access and showed us to our unit. The unit was smaller then I expected and I went into office and inquired about a larger unit. Charles was very through and accommodating and found us the perfect size within our budget. He also suggested I call the 1800 number and see about dropping the uhaul at his location to make it easier for us seeing as I would have had to drive across town to drop it off. Once I spoke to a customer care agent it was no issue moving my drop location to the Bissonet store. I was So Happy and Impressed with the customer service Charles gave us and the attentiveness given so close to him getting off work. Thank you so much!

After 60 yrs. U-haul is the best. My opionion. I will recommend u-haul foreever. That is how you succed. Give that kudos.

Friendly and offered to show me all the storage rooms with a friendly attitude. I had to see probably 4 or 5 different rooms, she went through all the options with me and then helped me get a moving truck too. She was great!

Syverta S. | Expérience généraleThis was a very expensive space but Jorden Lewis and the staff were well trained and generally excellent and so compensated somewhat for the excessive cost. They never did get the alarm glitch straightened out and after about a dozen tries I just gave up and learned that after what seemed like eternity, the alarm stopped. Surely the neighbors got tired of hearing all the noise and the police never did come so I would say the alarm really does not work except as an irritant. I suppose it is something that can be advertised to some advantage and probably a standard for U-Haul.
