It was not until drop off that I was told of the simple fix to the lighting problem I had with trailer. They helped by informing me of the common problem which may occur when hooking up equipment. ( I now have what is needed for my next rental with you company). The person Road Side Assistance sent out in Virginia, did nothing but made my situation worse by blowing another fuse. He told me that I would have to take my vehicle to dealership to resolve the issue... Said nothing but that it was a defect in my model vehicle... Which was "B. S."

Lance C.We already had to go out of our way 45 minutes to pick up the Uhaul, then we get to the original pickup location and they make us wait for an hour while they were trying to find the truck that we had already reserved. So after the hour wait they tell us we have to go another 30 minute drive away to be able to get the rental truck. We drive to the second location and end up waiting another hour because apparently the technician just started and didn't know anything., she gave us the truck with the gas tank between 1/2 and 1/4 and said to return it to the same level. We also ordered 2 furniture dolly's which this technician said would be in the back of the truck. We get the whole way home just to find no dolly's which when moving seven kids makes it a heck of a lot longer. So not only did UHAUL not give extra mileage, but when we go to turn the UHAUL back in they charge us for fuel when we filled it up to the exact spot it was at when we rented it. I am deeply disappointed in the level of mess ups UHAUL has caused my family in this already difficult time. Needless to say we won't be using UHAUL ever again.

MARK G.The after hours key drop location was hard to find. I saw the instructional sign on the awning that reminds us to use u-haul.com for after hours drop off, but I had to search for the key drop. Probably not that hard during the day, but not obvious at night.

james C.The lonely associate that was there had the where with all to understand the situation that he was dealing with when he walked back into the office. I had just returned my 20' uhaul and he was outside assisting another customer with a tow package. When I walked in there were 2 other customers in line and the phones were ringing off the hook. When he came back in he answered the phones and addressed the first customer in line. He then teaches out to me and asked if I was the one that had just pulled in for a return. I told him yes and that the tank was 1/2 full and all the rental equipment was accounted for. He asked if I would be good if he emailed me.the receipt and I stated yes, which he did within a couple of hours. Its baffling to me that you would run a location with one person on staff at what seems to be a high traffic location. I stood in line for over 20 minutes in a store I could gave robbed blind because there was no one else there to tend to the store!!! 樂

Besides that the woman up front just kept putting everyone on hold that called in then laughed that hanging up and calling back won't get her to answer. Eventually the equipment guy came to help her but immediately left after one customer. I was there to just return a vehicle so I spoke up so they both could hear me “if I'm just returning do I need to wait in line?†The guy just replied I'll be with you in a second. Like I said he left after one customer so I sat in line for 40 mins got to the front and she goes oh you're just checking in a vehicle? Grabs the keys and says your good get out of here. Never again will I use Uhaul
robert S.Not only did the location not have my pre reserved storage space but upon inquiring as to why I was being given a 8x7x9 unit to fit everything from a 26' truck the staff became defensive When I asked for the staff members names to report them to a corporate office one of the employees attempt to escalate the situation and began to get hostel. Thankfully I just went right down the street to a way nicer location with ample storage space.. AND with 0 advanced notice

Melissa W.When the miles are unused, they should be refunded back to the client because you guys will charge 41 cents per mile if they go over. That's not a mutually acceptable exchange. Paying full price for a truck that is sub par from an acceptable standard shouldn't be the companies business practices.

When something is reserved online I expect it to be what I'm getting: midland uhaul is screwing people just because they work in the oil field and assume everyone has a pile of money. Never again....
