The man who processed our rental was non-communicative and patronizing, having a major attitude problem. He did not offer to answer our questions regarding truck operation.

Don't ask me if the truck is in good mechanical condition when I return it. I'm not a mechanic. You need to check it yourself. That's gross negligence.

I was disappointed that when renting a motorcycle trailer going to Las Vegas that I was required to return it where I picked it up.
i put 15 miles on this truck round trip, and was charged $17 for fuel. the truck had a major exaust leak.

Absolute disgusting customer service from the "general manager" Aron. Felt the need to point at his toy name badge(does not say general manager/GM) when I asked to speak with a superior. He also felt the need to click his marker in an inpatient and somewhat triggered manner when I was gathering information he requested. Reported this individual to corporate for a few more issues.

When I did the early pick up, the appliance dolly was not in the truck. Just have a double check that equipment is available. However, one of the employees was understanding and provided the missing dolly with no hassle. I do not know his name unfortunately but I was happy with their service.
The above comments are true, but the REAL question is the overall UHaul experience! It was HORRID. Try to plan a move, but you don't know if the truck you reserved will be available until 24 hours ahead of time! You have to be kidding me. Then that depends if the person that rented the truck turns it in on time! Then they want you to drive 80 miles to pick up the truck! NEVER AGAIN will I use UHaul!!! We ended up calling different locations and finding a trailer and renting a mini van at the airport to accomodate all of our belongs for the move! Like I said, never again!!!
Forrest Riley was not professional. Spelled last name wrong made it difficult.
I rented a car dolly and when I got it to the car one of the straps was totally broken how to make another strap to make it work.
I think cleaning the vans inside would be nice. My ride was really dirty..

Initially, got a call 5 hours before my rental telling me I didn't have my equipment available for my reservation. I had to call and make a new reservation and make it for a round trip instead of one-way. But, ultimately you did discount my new reservation to accommodate the inconvenience. So, i am thankful i was still able to get what i needed.
It was unclear how we should proceed with picking up the truck -- the auto check in didn't work because the truck we had reserved was delivered to this location instead of our guaranteed location.

I've got a van that has almost more than 150,000 mileage on it but it 's worth it the money spent.
I booked my truck at the Huntington Beach location which is less than 3 miles from my moving locations. I was called two days before my reservation and told I needed to drive to Anaheim to pick up my rental truck. 25 miles each way. I asked if I would be compensated for the additional miles and was told no. This would have added about $70 in additional miles to my bill. Not to mention the time and gas. Fortunately, they were able to secure my reservation at the U-Haul in Midway City which is much closer. I feel like this is a trick U-Haul plays on consumers
We paid rent on the 23rd of June (auto payment), moved out on June 27th that's when we were informed that no rent prorate. That is unacceptable, I m sure by now the space has been rented. They prorated when we moved to a smaller space.

The employee was very courteous and explained the storage process quite well. He was also very accommodating in helping us select a convenient unit as well. I would recommend using this facility.

Anthony and Tom at Midway are awesome. They helped me in time of need when otherwise my rental experience and trip would have been a disaster.
Everything was good except for the fact that you do not refund for early move out. It makes sense that I should pay only for what I use. I ended up just giving you about $150 because of this.

Took 2 days to get through with out severe waiting time. Bailey couldn't find my account put me on hold for 9 minutes so I hung up. Called back later spoke to a young man, who handled it perfectly.
We were very unhappy with being told had been set aside two 5x10 units versus the 10x10 I reserved. Certain large items had to be left out and I was forced to buy two locks. Bad experience

The actual move-in date was 11-17. Your location in Westminster is clean secure & convenient , There was a mix-up regarding the truck I rented. However the manager Anthony worked things out thank you

Five days before move in I secured a storage unit. When we got there they were nice and took my money. When it came tome to go to the unit, there were none available. No i would not recommend.
I had a serious issue with one of the employees. The manager on location did take care of this however, an employee should yell at a customer and never lock a person upstairs and turn the elevator off
The guys at this location are AWESOME! They are patient, helpful and courteous.Due to lack of available units at the first location I was switched to this location,so thankful for the switched!
Calling the main number is always confusing and the operators usually have to leave a message for the office you are calling about or call yourself, they don't know specifics
