Both the pick up place and the drop off place were frustrating, especially the drop off place. I dropped off the uhaul and put my keys into a box that I had to climb snow to put the return keys away. It was in Goldie place that was a very uncomfortable experience. I feel like I just left the uhaul in a very unprofessional Way.

I was a little concerned about the engine. This vehicle had a lot of miles on it. It was a cold day. Not exceptionally so, but it was cold. The engine always ran hard and the transmission seemed to struggle a bit, too. Other than that, the experience was flawless. Thanks for everything!

I debra salonis was very up set when I return the truck they charge my bank card $100.00 and what ever change the man said it show I went 100 miles, that was not the case I went 11 miles yes it got corrected but that wasn't the point when I got the truck the cost was $29.65 this was an inconvience to me now I have to wait for a credit of almost $72.00 surpose I didn't have it , and it bounce that would of been a fee of $35.00 so I ask since it was there error if I could have a $4.95 pad lock on them was told NO LIKE REALLY U GUY'S MADE THE MISTAKE AND INCONVIENCE ME. got me upset cause I don't have monie like that, and you couldn't let me have a $4.95 pad lock now I have to wait for the credit to hit my account which takes a few days cause it was on sunday what happen shouldn't of happen and on top of that he couldn't even give me a good reason for why that happen he said well that's what it shows here, instead of let me find out what happen it was like he didn't believe what I was saying and yaw took my monie what ever did happen should never of happen $100.00 that's a lot of monie and I only went 11 miles or less.and I was made to pay for a $4.95 pad lock that wasn't good customer service at all

I was told on the phone since I made the reservations in my name but am physically unable to go to the location to sign the papers & the driver was diffetent from myself that if I brought cash I could pay with cash but leave a credit card on file untill the return. When the driver returned to pay for the truck they charged his credit card and would not take the cash. So why was I tokd something else at the time of making my reservation. They also said there were no paper receipts.
I drove 11 miles had the same amount t of gas and they charged me for multiple gallons. What a joke, I'll be disputing this charge.

The younger man Kevin was Awesome! I forgot to get my dolly and he called me back within 5 minutes of me leaving to come get it and admitted it was his fault. In reality it was both our faults for not checking. Also Kevin was polite, hasty and professional. I will be coming back to this location because of him. Good job U-Haul! Nate Keaton

I would like to note please that this was the easiest experience I have ever had of renting a trailer. That is quite the feat as I am a 45 y/o that has rented numerous vehicles/trucks/vans/trailers in my lifetime. Ricky and Kevin both went above and beyond to help and support my needs for a trailer. I only wish I had an immediate need so I can go back.

Very Disappointed in U-Haul's Customer Service Last month I rented a trailer from the Niles IL location on Milwaukee Ave. The employee who assisted me ( William ) was extremely rude. I had rented other trailers from that location several times in the past and had the same poor unprofessional experience. I notified U-Haul of this issue several times and received NO follow up from Corporate Management as promised. The last attempt to notify U-Haul Corp of my poor experience, the Customer Service Representative I spoke with, informed me my complaint was " resolved and closed out and I was contacted" Please Note : I have never received any correspondence from ANY U-Haul Employee regarding my concerns. I am Very Disappointed in U-Haul Corporation and the lack of customer care. Lastly I would like to mention the employee ( Ricky ) at the Morton Grove IL location. I recently rented from this location partly because I was never return to the Milwaukee Ave in Niles IL location. Ricky helpful ,very polite and enjoyable. More U-Haul employees from the top down should follow Ricky's example.
I did not appreciate the mouse trap in the unit. I did not appreciate getting invoices and calls regarding owing rent on the unit, after I had already moved out, telling at least 2 employees that I'd moved out.
The absolute worst experience of my life-regarding anything. I have told everyone who has asked to NEVER USE UHAUL. The most unprofessional, inconsiderate, incompetent business I've ever had to use. Didn't have both of our boxes available for the reservation date. Didn't notify us or the movers that the location for pick up changed. Didn't have any resolution for the missing box other than to have it the next day. This delayed our move, made us rent a truck to move the rest of our stuff into the second ubox, our money from Airbnb's for nights missed, out money for new Airbnb's required, out money for not allowing our tenants to move in on the move in date because Uhaul's incompetence delayed everything. This entire mistake cost us $2000. On top of that, it took TWO MONTHS and countlesssssss horrible phone calls to get someone who could take at least $466 off our total. THAT WAS IT. The entire thing should've been free at that point for the insanity this caused us-the emotional distress this caused is anything thing. You literally had ONE JOB and somehow messed it up so terribly. Movers also moved (half of our stuff) horribly and not cautiously and multiple items were broken upon opening our ubox. Train your staff. Train your staff on customer service. Have boxes available when they're reserved. Don't take 4 hours to answer someone's call. Deal with a complaint instead of making a customer call back countless times for 2 months before having any kind of resolution. DO BETTER. Uhaul should be absolutely ashamed of this entire ordeal.
Maybe the person in the store should attend to the customer first and stopped talking on their cellphone so it will be faster.

There is a mouse trap in the unit. There's no dollies to use, and I had to lug things up stairs. We will be finding another place to store our things. And would like a refund for the lock we had to buy.
The service at Waukegan UHaul is always top notch. We're yet to have a bad experience and are frequent renters of both trucks and trailers.
ELK GROVE Location is Horrible!
The gentleman who helped us was funny, nice and got us taken care of right away.
2 Employees (Kevin) were very respectful and cooperative.

Location was ok, I have rented a good amount of moving trucks from Uhaul wether for work or personal. I always get them by going in a physical location but this time I did it online and then just went to pay at the counter which made it a lot faster. The location was ok, only problem was that I didn't know where to return the keys when I returned the truck that same night, it was on the side of the building. The truck did what it needed to do but was very used and abused on the road because the steering wheel was not very responsive and the driving was a bit odd.
Why are you charging 69 cents per mile? This was a total turn off.

Our two packers and movers in Santa Fe were very good, professional in every way. They carefully wrapped each item and loaded our U-Box so the pieces were secured. I would definitely use U-Haul again

We used a UBox to ship our belongings from Lynnwood WA to Morton Grove. Our experience with the folks at Morton Grove was amazing; they were super organized, polite, and helpful!
General manager of facility was incredibly rude and lacking of any customer service. Defensively saying "What do you want me to do?" is not an appropriate response to a legitimate client concern.
I stored an RV there and came back after a long trip and the lost was so full I could not fit my RV into the spot I rented. Left me in a very difficult situation.
I was in a position where I needed to keep my things in storage longer than I had planned. Even before I retrieved them, the staff was super friendly and helpful. I would go to Morton Grove again!
