How does the various service providers that I deal with on a daily basis and not just U-Haul this particular location for U-Haul in Morton Grove is phenomenal experience. I normally only see two different people there morning or night and no matter what time you go in or come back these guys are on top of their game. They're always Pleasant, organized, efficient and super fast. In all the years I've been going there I have never had an issue whatsoever with the many rentals I'm done. On top of it the tales room and a lot for that matter are super clean always. And so are the vehicles. I have never had a vehicle not be completely vacuumed and clean. It's a pleasure to do business with these two gentlemen at this location.Sandra K.

The location was great. The person at the counter was courteous and helpful. My only problem was with your website. When I wanted to rent a 10' truck in Morton Grove, IL the website told me the closest location was in Rolling Meadows, IL. I called a different Morton Grove, IL rental location and they made my reservation and sent me to the location at 9009 Waukegan Road. When I went to register ahead online, I was told there were no trucks. A wonderful person, Wanda Fauber, at your 800-GO-U-HAUL phone number was able to fix everything and set my mind at ease. The worker in the Morton Grove U-Haul location needs some customer service training. He was not too friendly. Additionally, I asked him to take the utility dolly off my contract since I did not need it. He did remove it from the truck, but when I returned the truck to the Coral Springs, FL location, it was not removed from the contract. Aggravating!TODD B.

Kevin was great! Also I went to pick up my 6x12 trailer @ portage park where Trevon was working and he was on his game and said my car cld not pull that and found me a 5x8 in morton grove-on a holiday weekend! Can't say how much I was impressed by the professionalism. Goes to show also the good training he received.the whole team @ portage is just great. Merci.Donna P.

The 6x12 trailer had a nail in the left rear tire and the tire went flat in my driveway. Fortunately we noticed and roadside assistance came out in 45 minutes and replaced the tire before we started the 8 hour drive. This saved us from a potentially dangerous situation on the freeway with a blown tire.James A.

Makes me nervous to pickup dirty equipment with damage. I did not have time to investigate to ensure that I would not be charged, so I had to risk being accused of the mess. Thankfully, nothing was charged to me. I just didn't have time to deal with it.John K.

I reserved a cargo van and when I pick it up I went inside ti asked fir another one and was told not available another one In these times customer wants to be able to feel safe to get in not worry to get sick Van was not cleaned at all Lots bird dropping outside n very dirty Inside I had to take a broom and sweep out back cargo and front I took a cloth and cleaner and cleaned steering wheel and dashboard And door panels and seats very dusty Ban was not cleaned in months very dirty and dusty I did complained but no one took This is a reaction and when I returned the equipment I did tell the employee there to make a note that I was very dis-satisfiedSam K.

One of the guys who was working was very rude to the woman in front of me. She was asking for discounts and this guy was helping another customer and decided to pipe in and tell her something like, "There aren't any discounts, lady. Just rent the truck and bring it back." It was not very professional. The woman decided to leave after he made another comment later.Jason O.

Absolutely terrible customer service. We were able to pick up the u-box and drop it off for storage without issues. The problems started when it came time to pick up the u-box again. I called customer service 3x before I could get ahold of anyone and they said the box should be ready to be picked up whenever. When we got to the store their system was down and our box wasn't ready. When we returned our u-box to the store upon completion their system was still down but they said we were good and our transaction was complete. A few days later I receive an email stating that I was being charged another month of storage rent. I have tried calling multiple times and waiting on hold for hours but haven't been able to get ahold of anyone to fix the issue.Kevin M.

My disappointment was that I scheduled a one-way trip to my destination - a 15 ft. truck. The day before I got a call telling me that a one-way was not possible and you no longer had a 15 ft. truck. The service rep was courteous and professional, but in the end was not able to offer me a solution that was satisfactory. I had to settle for a 10 ft. truck for a two way trip. The service rep reduced the per mile charge from 1,40 $/mile to 0,99 per mile. But in the end, it still cost me about 60 $more than I was quoted with the original confirmed order. Because of the amount of planning involved and less than a day to look for other alternatives, I felt I had no other choice but to accept the new terms. I understand that the logistics and inventory of trucks is tricky. But, I think U-Haul should have honored the quoted price of the original order since the change was caused on your end; not on my end. Also, the rep said he would send me a 25 $voucher (to my email) to be used on a next rental. I have not received the voucher.Jeffrey L.

This comment is to manger who was available at the store that I visit on Saturday 4/24 morning at 8 am Was very rude to me and has no experience being a manger at all feel very sorry for people who work around him . When I made a reservation for 15 ft truck as soon I walked in I asked for that specific truck he give me no opinion he said either you take whatever we have or go find something you want from other locations. Basically I had a very good experience. Except when he brought the pick-up truck to me, I asked him about the hitch and that I needed a 1 7/8 " he said he could sell me one. I was under the impression that I would have my choice, since I had called before renting and I was told that it included any size I needed. I had to get the job done that day. So I went to Harbor Freight down the block and bought a 1 7/8" hitch for 24 $. Very upset. I will see if someone higher up will give me a credit towards my bill. It was very aggravating.Donald R.
