1st we were quoted 1 price got charged a different price. 2nd. The truck wouldn't go into gear. The guy from the shop had to come out and reve the engine and then “hot rodded” it around the block ”said you just have to drive it. Then it wouldn't go over 50 miles an hour. We were charged for 100 miles and only drove it 80. At 0,99 a mile seems $19,8 at least should have been refunded.

The guy that was there was amazing and friendly. He kind of got the tail end of the emotions on the extra charge for going on miles but he really did a great job and that must have been miscommunication between us and the pick up location.

Now this is what I call customer service. Both employees went above and beyond. I would definitely recommend this Uhaul place and the next time I need to rent storage or a truck or need packing materials I'll be coming here. Thank you for the utmost customer service. Keep up the good work guys.

The trailer that we had was not clean inside or out. I also was charged an extra five dollars from what the price told me online when I rented it.

Tank was empty. App didn't work. Charged me for fuel even though I returned with more than was left for me. Fortunately you have a great employee there who straightened it out. Get a working app or get rid of it.

Some random guy outside grunting, lights off inside, I enter and he follows me inside asking what I want. Shocked to realize the fellow works here I told him I didn't realize he worked there. He said I walk right past him. Yep, some random dude standing outside with no clear sign he works there grunting at me. I should have know that his grunt was short hand for can I help you. He was a bit of a useless dick after that too.

My only complaint is that whenI dropped the truck off the employee said he would email me a receipt and never received it. So the next day I called and he said he would get it emailed to me by that night. It has been almost 3 weeks and still nothing. Would have liked to have had it for a right off.

Better quality of wiper blades. This was an issue on my last two rentals. They are not terrible but definitely not good in lite rain.

again now uhaul wanted me to wait on hold for 47 minutes to return my rental, at 7:09pm at night in the pouring rain "not happening" and again Ryan from Great Lakes Feed and Supply took care of it for me at 7:09pm at night, GREAT SERVICE, Uhaul on the other hand NOT SO MUCH!

Great experience. The lot is large and it was very easy to get the 20' truck out and back in upon completion of the move. The customer service reps were friendly and helpful.

The pricing was extreme and made no sense. I rented online, was quoted $89, when I went to pick it up paid $104. I was told am extra $20 each additional day. I had to have it for another 3 days. $174 was taken out of my account and then charged an additional $99 after check in. Paid over $350 when I budgeted for only $180. Wish the pricing was more transparent upon rental. I would have made alternative arrangements so I didn't have to sacrifice groceries for 2 weeks.

I wish U-Haul would reimburse me for lost time and a new U-Haul truck that actually works. I rented out the truck and found the ramp in the back did not function correctly. After further investigation with ASAP/Alma Towing, we found that the one bracket/rod for the ramp had been broken off (weld was broken). Additionally, there was red tape on the side that was broke, which means (if they did any type of check-up on this prior to renting this out again) they didn't care if it worked properly or not. I am frustrated and angry about the entire experience. The issue I experienced should have never even made it to the customer (myself). There is no reason that U-Haul should have even been rented out. I even told the guy I was going to need the ramp for items I was bringing up it with a dolley. I was never told anything about a ramp issue. I wasted the entire night of MY TIME trouble-shooting a problem that wasn't even mine! By the time we figured out the issue (which still wasn't resolved completely because it needed to be welded back together), it was dark and later in the night. I tried making the best of the situation, but we still didn't get everything figured out (some stuff was not moved, due to the delays in starting), not to mention I ruined a shirt from having to get under the truck every time to push the piece up so the ramp would work (it was raining later in the night, which was insult to injury, because I didn't plan on being out that late with everything from the delays). I have never had this issue before, and I have rented multiple U-Hauls in the past. I don't know what can be done, but a formal complaint will be filed on multiple levels for the lack of professionalism in taking care of the product being rented, prior to the customer receiving it. I don't wish this on any customer in the future, but I also am extremely upset about the wasted time. If further proof is needed, I have photos of the issue and will be more than willing to show them. I hope this can be resolved before the actual complaints are filed, as I will be filing it with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General for Michigan, along with the state for corporate headquarters. Please get this resolved beforehand, and also make sure this never happens to anyone else!

It's not the location itself. It's Uhaul. The app and “truck share” option is ridiculous. This is the second time I've used this way to pick up my rental and the second time I've wasted several hours trying to reach someone while waiting in the rain at a closed location. At least the last time the location was kind enough to offer some free mileage. If you have an option of using contactless pick up after hours please upgrade your IT department so the app works the way it's supposed to. It's frustrating and moving is frustrating already.

Check the trailers when they are returned, we got it to move my Grandfather and opened it to load and it had dog poop and pee all over it. Had to clean it out and get on hands and knees to clean. Very unhappy about the condition it was in.

This particular location was great, except it was way out of our way to go and pick up our trailer and not the location we selected. This is the second time this has happened where we have had to go almost an hour in the opposite direction due to the location we chose not having the equipment we requested over a month in advance. Hopefully, the one I reserved for next month will be at the location I selected. I use them for moving products to vendor events for my small business and can't afford to keep paying the additional fuel costs.

The service at this location was terrible. The guys running it had a poor attitude about not having the correct equipment in the truck. Knorr was it ready to go inside the truck for the app pickup. Running out of dollies and not informing me of it. Had made this appointment 2 weeks in advance. The windshield had so many bug splats and the side windows needed to be cleaned. Also I have always had a full tank of gas inside these trucks ready to go, but it was down to its last 1/8. Which means it takes more time out of my day to work on loading it. I have done this multiple times in my life and this was the poorest experience yet. I spent an hour just getting this pickup, equipped and fueled. I also called customer service at U-Haul to complain about this. I was suppose to get a follow up call from the manager/owner of the location. Still have not heard anything back yet 9/11/2021. Will report service issues on other social media as well.

They were very nice and helpful. I have never pulled a trailer. My husband made me pick it up. They were so nice and hooked it up and gave me pointers for taking it home. I told them what route I was taking and it worked out perfect.

There should be a discount when forced to take a larger truck than needed. It requires more gas, and larger space is not the safest way to move belongings so more items get broken. Not to mention, larger trucks require more effort to maneuver and often in less known environments.
