The guy that was trying to hook up my trailer at the beginning couldn't get the chains hooked up and basically said there was nothing he could do even after I indicated I drove 1000 miles to pick up the trailer. I had to ask for a manager and she took care of the problem. It didn't seem to phase him that I drove 1000 miles to pick up the trailer and he couldn't do anything for me. Very very very disappointing!!

Patrick LAlthough the truck itself was clean, the maintenance on it was not at all done or checked. Also, there was a service ticket on the truck prior to us renting it that clearly wasn't handled per the technician. As soon as my husband got the truck on the interstate, going less than 60mph at all times, the entire truck vibrated badly. He was a nervous wreck driving it so he asked me to call and find another truck. We rented it in Murfreesboro but were headed to Nashville to pick up a small load of chairs and shelves. That was only 30 miles away, but the vibrations were too concerning to ignore. I called the local U-Haul where we picked it up, and I explained the situation. I was hoping they would help by finding another truck to replace it with en route. They said they didn't have anything available and we couldn't return it anywhere but that location despite the issue. So I then put in a request for roadside assistance, which only sent a technician to our destination in Nashville after we sat there waiting 1,5 hours, even though they quoted 30 min or less. We couldn't load the truck so we were just wasting the time we paid for. The tech said the wheels needed to be replaced and the bearings were in very bad shape among many other issues. He said it was a 50/50 chance the front wheel would fall off while driving. He did try to find a replacement nearby, but we would have to drive the truck there to swap it. That made me quite furious that they were so unconcerned with the situation and they required us to drive it again. Much later, they notified me the replacement was in Murfreesboro - which is where we would have to return the truck anyway. So we had to drive it on the interstate 30 miles with a 50/50 chance of it falling off! The U-Haul agent called before we headed back to Murfreesboro, and I told him that was not helpful at all, and he said "I apologize there is no other equipment available near you right now." I asked, "Not even a 10' truck?" And he said…well maybe there's a 10'…. I was appalled they didn't even provide any other options to swap it out. I didn't even need a size 15' but they didn't bother to ask or check. At that point I was so tired of waiting and needed to get back to town to turn the truck in by 6:00pm to avoid late fees. In the end, we were charged in full for a truck that was unsafe to drive, which they apparently knew prior to us renting. Absolutely no one at U-Haul was helpful in the least, and they all said we'd have to drive it somewhere regardless.
Brianna WStaff gave me incorrect information and refused to make it right. Manager couldn't care less about the situation. Considering reaching corporate to see if they even care.

The U-Haul that I rented yesterday we had no coolant and we left a lot with no coolant. My truck overheated and it got returned late to where it was unsafe to be on the road.

Stacee Mcargo van rented broke down (broken driver side inner tie rod) but roadside assistance was VERY helpful and ensured i was able to get a replacement vehicle (10' van) and arranged for Uber drive to closer U-Haul location so i did not have to return to original U-Haul place of pickup for replacement unit. Although i lost 2,5 hours of time due to this inconvenience, i did not have to pay additional fees because of roadside assistance and the overtly helpful U-Haul customer service agent!

Mac NEverything went smooth until I went outside to get my vehicle. It wasn't parked where it was supposed to be. Finally found it after about 10 minutes of looking and it was in the middle of two other trucks. I've always had someone come to the vehicle with me to review it. I had to go back in, the guy acted bothered, then got me another truck that I was supposed to have the first go around. We were on a schedule and this experience set us back about 45 minutes.

BE COMPLETELY CERTAIN TO HAVE A DOCUMENTED CONFIRMATION RECORD OF WHEN AND WHERE YOU TURNED IN THE RENTAL UNIT. I rented a trailer from Pensacola, FL to be turned in to a location in Lenoir City, TN. I did just that and received a text message that I turned in the unit. However, the unit was not actually turned in in the system by another person (not by the person with whom I dealt the day the unit was turned in). The unit was then rented out for 7 days and was turned in to the Murfreesboro, TN location. I was charged for these additional 7 days and for turning in the unit to a different location! It took 4 days of phone calls for U-Haul to finally refund me the extra charge.

They were so helpful and explained how everything worked, the alarms, how to access the storage unit and the hours. I was originally supposed to turn my truck in at another U-Haul place and they were kind enough to make arrangements for me to turn it in there. The facility was extremely clean. My unit was on the second floor. I was impressed that they had carts for use to assist in moving all of my household goods. Usually moving can be a hassle, however the staff at this U-Haul storage facility made it a breeze and hassle-free.

The mechanically controlled roll up doors in the loading bay areas were not working, which meant the truck couldn't be backed in fully and the contents got wet in the rain. Additionally, having a cement pillar in a 5x10 unit makes it substantially more difficult to store large items.

She had an attitude the entire time, walked off with an attitude and everything, which I feel you shouldn't have that kind of attitude period specially dealing with people who are already going through a overwhelming time of moving and relocating the last thing they need is a bad attitude customer rep. The others however were super nice and helped me out a ton, I believe he was a manager I decided to talk to him about exactly what I needed because the previous rep was soooo rude I no longer wanted to deal with her. And he helped me out and it was super easy and quick.

Incredibly friendly staff, especially the lady at the front with green or blue hair. Reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

I had a specific unit which they said I could reserve on the first floor (did this about a week or so ahead of the actual time needed for move-in). When I went to pay for and secure the unit...they had rented it and said they could not actually hold or "reserve" a specific unit location or type requested. In the end I got a good unit, just on the third floor.

The security card I was given did not work, it set off the alarm for the entire building. I sat there for 10 minutes with the building alarm screaming aloud and could not get ahold of anyone to help me. I left with my stuff and never even got to move in.

I am very pleased with the climate controlled unit I got for my belongings. I like that I don't have to constantly worry if someone is going to be able to break in and take my things. Very secure.

Your telephone contact system is difficult to navigate and spending hours waiting was exhausting. I, personally, have utilized your company in three states in many different avenues. Please note that the staff at the new 5 story facility in Murfreesboro excelled in every way. This is the direct result of a good manager. Merci.

LYNN V | Premières impressionsThe only negative but also a huge one is there is not enough elevators at this facility. We had to wait in line several times just to get to our storage unit. Very inconvenient if you are carrying heavy items. We had to try to go to the facility during off times so it wasn't as busy. The layout was not planned correctly. The original employee who signed me up made some mistakes. Spelled my name wrong, didn't set up auto draft correctly, and had me down for the wrong storage number. The employees who corrected it were nice and helpful but the initial employee was not a good experience.

Multiple bedding items (stores in containers) had to be thrown away due to mold. When I rented the unit I did not think mold would be an issue, but come to find it did. If I did it all over again, I would want to be briefed that mold is a potential issue so that I could plan more accordingly.

I was able to use the provided carts to easily move my boxes into and out of my unit. The temperature was always within the designated range. The facility was always clean (including the bathrooms). My move was very stressful. It was a blessing to have one part that was consistent and positive. Merci.
