Alan MUhaul's system to no prorate rent in order to adjust the due dates is absolute trash. I wanted to prorate my unit for a few days and change my due date to the 1st and I was told to pay a full month in advance. Also, the facilities sliding doors are not in use after office hours which makes it hard to enter and exit with items needed to be stored.

She tried everything she could to make my code and access card work. The temporary code I was provided with stop working in the middle of my move which delayed me for a good amount of time. Overall the whole experience was very hectic and all over the place the workers provided great customer service even after working by herself, but it was very inconvenient that it was my first time experiencing a truck rental and storage with U-Haul.

JASMINE GWe've rented lots of Uhauls for our event planning business and this location is the best experience I've had so far! Check-in was a breeze (I did online check-in and once inside to pick up the keys, it was easy) and drop off was even easier! I think Isaiah was the guy who helped with checkout and he was so nice and helped back the truck in for me. Will definitely rent from here again!
GRETCHEN SKeep the site up to date with the equipment available. I had to end up getting a smaller moving truck, 10ft instead of a 15ft, and I had to drive somewhere else to get other equipment even after reservations. Frustrating as heck. The truck also had the huge cardboard add in the window and no one got it out for me. I had to do it myself. Unbelievable. Worse uhaul place I have ever been to. The other place I went to was more considerate and on point on 8th south in Nashville.

But I needed it a second day when I brought it back the next day you said there was enough money to cover both day from the 100 deposit. But when I got to the hospital I noticed on my phone that I was doubled charged and now I'm 98dlars over drawn. You charged me the 100 deposit plus the total for the two days. instead of the two days coming from the deposit. So it put my bank account overdrawn by 98 dolly. I hope you can fix that Otherwise the service was great
Steven SThis facility requires you to purchase insurance which is not listed in their initial offer. They also require you to purchase a specific lock that most people don't have. The facility is unwilling to negotiate pricing on a given unit. Parking can be difficult as well.

JOSEPH CI rated it five star because it was clean and it was very inviting at first I was a little bit afraid because it was so far from where I'm moving to but when I got there, it was nothing but smiles for me because it was so clean from the top to the bottom, it was a young man cleaning it as people were moving in and out they were still cleaning. I love it so as for me the drive was worth it P.S.for someone that's moving from out of town. I really don't know a whole lot about the city into actually find a place that's secure and clean and customer service was very nice. I'm happy to have peace knowing that your property is going to be OK.

KENNETH RCon el permiso del dueño de esta tienda mi comentario será de muy mal gusto para usted pero es la verdad esta tienda donde estuve casi por cuatro años manager se iban y llegaban otros nunca tuvieron una persona que se responsabilizara en su trabajo la tienda está muy sucia con cucarachas los estacionamientos demasiado sucios y la actitud de sus manager muy mala en especial de la señora Teresa Young de la tienda localizada en la 506 fesslers ln esta señora no sabe cómo ser manager ni como correr una tienda ya que no tiene autoridad para mandar a los empleados todos hacen lo que quieren y ella no dice nada a pero con los clientes si se porta de una manera grosera y nefasta no sería el único q se quejaría de ella se que tuve problemas económicos y no podía pagar lo adeudado asumo toda mi responsabilidad pero esta señora nunca tuvo la disponibilidad para arreglar la situación y prefirió cancelar el contrato con un cliente q no era nuevo ni tampoco se porto mala gente con ella ya que cada que avía un problema en la noche yo le hablaba para comunicárselo si alguien trataba de hacer algo malo en la locación le hablaba si a ella o a los empleados se les olvidaba cerrar alguna puerta o algo de valor tirado en el estacionamiento le habla y le comunicaba a esta persona nunca fui grosero con ella pero no se ni siquiera cual fue la razón de q no quisiera arreglar lo de mi adeudo que nunca me negué a pagar de lo contrario buscaba la manera para seguir haciendo negocios hasta pedí al hijo de mi esposa que rentara una unidad a nombre de él para poder tener dinero y pagar mi deuda con ustedes pero esta señora se enteró y canceló el contrato del hijo de mi señora y lo trato como una basura así q esta señora no merece estar trabajando para usted dueño de la locación porq incluso le pedi que me diera la autorización de sacar mis pertenencias y me limitó el horario y se llego el día y ni siquiera me dio un par de horas mas para poder terminar de sacar todo lo que tenia pero esta razón si se porq es que ella entra en las bodegas de los clientes y toma lo de más valor para poder venderlo y lo de más lo pone. danna sThe 10' truck was in such poor condition it needs to be junked. The door handles are broken off. The drivers seat was broken and would not move forward or backwards, the steering wheel was so damaged it was hard to hold onto. A/C contols were damaged and lastly the entire unit smelt like a ashtray. The staff was very nice but this truck is not ok to rent. Terrible

Elizabeth RI wouldn't say they went above and beyond in customer service. We waited, and we were the only ones in there, about 10 mins. They didn't have any type of dolly - which, to me, was odd. I did order 2 online - and you don't have them? I questioned that there are always dolly's in the U-Hauls that we could use - and was told they disappear and don't come back. Umm, okay, I suggest replacing them them.
ROBERT GCustomer service was not helpful. I had the truck for 10 minutes and was not refunded any money, and was charged more than what makes logical sense. I could not get any reasonable answers to the questions I asked. I feel like I was swindled by a scam service

Arnetta ACustomer service is just a little slow I understand that the rep gets very busy however if they focus a bit more on the person in front of them that will be great the reason why I say this is because customers are coming in to use your service meaning to rent a truck for moving or renting a storage unit and customers want to come in get the service and leave so they can get done moving so they can get the truck back on time. I am a time management kind of person and I like to be on time so that me and my family be able to move in such a way that we meet our scheduled times.

Wendy LThere is absolutely no parking here. It makes loading and unloading extremely difficult. When I got into my rental truck I found that the A/c only worked on the defrost setting. Furthermore the truck had an extremely rough idle and the rear diff was leaking fluid it was leaking so heavily in fact that when we first looked at the truck there was a puddle of diff fluid underneath it. The left front tire was at 35 PSI when it needed to be at 65. Overall not the best experience when renting a truck.
Sean MMake sure the internet is working at the office or have an alternative so people can check out the equipment. I was delayed due to the internet being out at this location, and had to wait until it was back online to get the keys. Everything else was great.
Paul BI will never use U Haul storage or moving again. When I first arrived to the storage unit the women immediately told me she has no units available, although I had reserved a unit and just arrived to TN from AL. After much back and forth she finally "found a unit." Then, the movers that U Haul assigned to me showed up and were completely awful. They reeked of weed and fought the entire time about who was in charge. After everything was moved into the unit, the storage unit manager then proceeded to tell me I had to drop the truck off at a DIFFERENT location. It was nearly 5pm at this point and she said I could call the scheduling department to see if I could get it switched to the 506 Fesslers lane. Thankfully that was able to be arranged. The whole experience was a nightmare and like I said, I will never be using U haul moving, storage or movers ever again and will share my experience with others.

We showed up to the drop off location after driving all day and was told we could not drop off at this location although this was the location my storage unit was located in. I did not find this out until closer to 5pm when I was instructed to call the scheduling department to see if I could switch the drop off location. After being on hold for 20 mins, thankfully I was able to switch the location. Very very poor organization and customer service.

Firstly - this employee smokes next to the business doors, instead of adhering to a 20ft distance policy. Non smokers don't enjoy smelling that, and it makes the facility feel "lesser than." Second - this same employee closed the doors on us at 6:59pm on a close time of 7pm. We exited the elevator prolly around 7:02? She stood there, looked at us, I knocked, she ignored us. Then waved us off to go to a small hallway door. Then she walked outside and argued with my fiancé about. Eventually speeding off in her car. Problem is - she spent more time telling us why she wasn't going to open than doors then it would have taken for her to briefly open and close the doors again. It's poor service. Frankly, unacceptable in regard to common sense communication and actions taken by the employee. Maybe she isn't paid enough to care, or she simply doesn't care about client experience in general. Joe S | Premières impressionsVery conflicted on this rating. I had reservations for a truck and a storage unit. Everything with the truck went super smoothly, not really any issues at all. It was very convenient all the way through. The storage unit however is where things got rocky. Initially everything went well. We were even able to switch to a bigger unit after realizing the one we reserved was too small. The employee available during office hours was very friendly and helpful. After office hours however, things are kind of ridiculous. They shut the main loading doors (double wide sliding doors) and you only have the ability to load through a standard sized door on either side, so hopefully everything you need to store fits through a standard sized door. Then, when it came around time for access to end there was absolutely no warning for it whatsoever. Suddenly the elevator just stopped. We and several other folks trying to unload were not able to even go up and lock our units. Two of the groups including us had the door left wide open with the general instructions to "come back as close to 5 as you can". There was no heads up. No conversation. And everything we owned that we just spend 12 hours moving across the country was now open and available in a unit for anyone who can access the building before we got there. We live an hour away now. So after driving all day and unloading all evening into the night, we had to get up at 4am to drive another hour and get there at 5 to close the unit. If we had just had a heads up, or a last call type thing. Something. Anything. They tell you the access hours of course but when you're unloading, you're not checking your phone every 5 or 10 minutes. You just try to get it done. It was honestly ridiculous. Hopefully there is some sort of remedy in the future for that kind of issue.

Kelondra S | Expérience généraleAlthough I had zero issues with your storage facility, was super pleased, and was well priced and accommodated my late hours too, I have a completely different feeling towards your truck rental department. About a month prior to getting this unit I had rented a few trucks. Mostly had good experiences until I was told to take a truck to maintenance (different location) which was much further from my home than the one I intended to return it to on 1st avenue (which was demolished by a tornado about a week after I rented the 26' truck from there). I had called roadside assistance and they told me, the mechanic would look at it and if it was okay they would arrange for me to keep it another night to finish my loading since I was afraid to drive it that day. Said if it needed to stay they would supply me with another. When I got there, I explained to them (2 guys) the situation and they didn't listen. Said the mechanic doesn't do things like that and continued checking me out. When I asked about another truck, they basically laughed at me and said they don't do that either. The office personnel were leaving as I walked up to call customer service and road side assistance, who also told me (different lady) that they didn't do that. Had I known that, I would've finished using the truck before they checked me out, to load my things and drop them off, cuz I still had the rest of the day to finish. I was then stranded, with my dolly, in the rain, 25 minutes from home. I could've dropped the truck off at the place I got it from on my way back home, at least, had I known I'd be charged like $300 for taking it to the maintence department, which I was asked to do. So in addition to spending $300 on the truck originally to take things to a sale to make hopefully more than $300, which I was 2 days late setting up for. The next day, I returned to the original place, hoping they would be able to help and they called maintence who said they couldn't help... again and arranged for me to rent another truck for another $100 to finish. A few days later when I checked my bank account, I was surprised by another charge, as a penalty, for like another couple hundred dollars. A $300 day rental for 3 days turned into $700 for 5 and I was already broke and that's not including the gas I put in the truck with intentions on using it, that I didn't use or get refunded for when they checked me out before understanding my situation. So I had to buy it again the next day with the next truck. And I got charged the extra miles for taking it to the shop instead of waiting for roadside assistance to come to my home which the lady said could take many hours. I was just wanting to finish and thought I was helping and ended up costing me 100s of dollars and I lost money from my sale for 2 days which is the reason I needed the truck to begin with. I contacted customer service multiple times, sometimes on the phone for hours. They contacted the maintenance department who lied and said they offered me a truck. If that were the case I wouldn't have been walking down Gallatin road crying with a dollie, having to call an Uber to pick me up for an additional $25. Once they realized I rented another the next day, they believed me and told me to call back if I didn't hear anything. Every time I didn't hear back and I called back I did it all over again. I know this has nothing to do with the storage unit, but I complained to the lady that signed me up and it may have been the same week if not a couple of weeks later and she told me the man I was told to contact would work it out with me and said he was the best customers relations guy. I was given the name by 2 customer service reps to contact if not resolved. I left him at least 5 messages with no reply! I'm assuming he believes his crappy helpers at maintenance who were ready to go home while I was stranded in the rain. His name was Jeffrey Porter. Anyways, that was 1,5 years ago and obviously I'm still upset and angry about it and will never recommend uhauls service for a truck rental, ever! But the storage unit and it's employees were sorry friendly

For the hassle of having to maneuver vehicles into such a tight space, and a tiny little door to be used after hours plus having to scan a card to use the elevators...I just think the place should cost way less, and I definitely do not recommend the Uhaul at Fesslers Lane to anyone based on the parking lot.

We were told we could "back in" and unload our belongings right into our unit. However, when we showed up ... it was unload our belongings onto a dolly and travel to an elevator, and then unload a level beneath ground. We had no idea it was a multi-level facility. Totally unprepared being out of state. We should have done better research ;)

There was a tall Caucasian man with a white mask on,that worked there who was extremely racist & angry towards me and my family . He even made my pregnant daughter stand outside for 10 minutes and when he finally came outside to address her he had a attitude and asked her what did she want . That was extremely unprofessional and she was hurt ; I don't know if he was giving us attitude due to everything going on with Trump and Black Lives Matter but I did not appreciate it. He even tried to close the building at 6:50 instead of 7:00 and when we tried to talk to him he kept checking his watch and giving us attitude. This experience was horrible and we were racially profiled. There was one good worker who sensed our uncomfortable dispositions and helped us his name was David H on night shift and he was the best although he was injured he still went out of his way to help us and insure everything was okay . He reassured us that his coworker was always this way, which is unfortunate in a customer service position!On Morning shift , Mr.John was a extremely helpful and gave us candy and the lock to the storage unit. He was kind & overly helpful ! All of this is on your camera system & I hope it can be used to show future employees how not to treat paying, respectable, on time repeat or first time customers. That evening shift guy was horrible & unfit for this position.

When I got there they said they had accidentally booked my truck for the next day so I had to have it back by midnight. I had to rush all over my things over in 3 hours when I had planned with y'all 24. It was a very stressful experience. :(

The u haul storage facility on Fesslers dr in Nashville had the friendliest and most attentive staff. Ive interacted with 3 or 4 different team members at This location and was blown away by their friendliness and courtesy. My wife and I had to move a lot of items alone and the staff made it easy and seamless for us. They even complemented us on our hard work :) I'll be a U-Haul costumer for life thanks to The manager (Tiffany) and her well run team!
john b | Expérience généraleThis location is too small for all the traffic this location generates.. the customrr parking is almost non existent because of the 500 Uhaul trucks filling the lot. I literally waited on Fesslers Lane 10 minutes with my turn signal on before I could even turn into the lot. It was terrible experience.. And this is literally my third time having this same experience.

Also, when I moved most of my things into the unit on 5/4/2020, the power to the facility was out and as such the elevators were not functioning. While this was not something that could be controlled by the employees, there were several times when staff members left the office empty. No moving help or discounts were offered because of the inconvenience.

Due to Covid 19 there was no face to face interaction which was fine but they literally watched us stand at the door for several minutes and gave us the finger to wait longer. There was sign that stated to call but their phones were not working. The lady didn't check my unit and basically told me I was good and she would email the documents which she never did. The next day another lady called and asked had moved out. I advised her my account was suppose already be closed as of yesterday. She explained that she would close it.

Antionne G | Expérience généraleThe manager Tiffany was incredibly rude to me. She costed me an extra 1,5hrs on my move. When we originally came to the property with true friends, she said we were fine where we were. After the first hour, she was rude to my movers and me. She kept making them move the truck after my time had started. I understand the stresses of being a GM is being one myself, but that doesn't give the manager the right to yell and be rude to a customer that respectfully asks a question. Then she hangs up on me and refuses to give me a way to speak to her supervisor and continued to hang up on me for about 5-10 min. I mean she was incredibly rude. I will never use this location ever again. I don't understand why she was making my truck move all morning because she wasn't doing that on the night we moved in. I had to wait almost 2hrs to move in. That manager Tiffany needs some in depth customer service and anger management training. One of her associates even stated to me yesterday that Tiffany was going through a lot but it doesn't excuse the way she's been acting. I can't refer anyone I know to this location. If I do, they would act out after dealing with her.

I appreciate uhaul as a company and this particular location for being there and helping me and my family with not only 1 but 2 units during my struggles after my home was hit and destroyed by the tornado ,if it wasnt for the kindness that yall have offered and presented I wouldn't have had a place for anything .I did manage to salvage some stuff I was able to save more than I had expected ! This has been the worst experience I've ever had with U-Haul and would not recommend any Nashville TN U-Haul Storage to anyone. I have spoken to customer service about my experience with everything including the fact that the original facility in Nashville did not have a unit available for me even though I had a reservation and she saw it in the computer. I was there with a 26 foot truck and hired movers to empty it. She said there was nothing she could do and told me to try to get one at UHaul on Fesslers. I moved from 580 miles away and had to scramble to find a place to store my things. Costumer service offered a $30 gift certificate to use for any UHaul product or service.

The 2 ladies who were working when I came in were both amazing. It was the end of the month and the place was packed with returns, rentals, locks having to be cut off, etc. I had reserved a unit that was way too small for what I had to store. They got me in the perfect sized unit and walked me through everything. Kudos to uhaul for hiring such amazing people! I was in hospitality management for over 20 years and the way these employees handled every situation in a super timely and professional manner was beyond impressive. I highly recommend this location!
