What a clean and well lit facility. The bathroom is also spotless. I would definitely store items here again and the new manager Chelsea is very nice and friendly. Merci.

Don't charge people triple after they already paid

When I returned the van I waited like the sign in the parking lot said for someone to come out and attend to me. After about 8 minutes of no one coming out I had to go in an wait in line for another 15 minutes. If customers keep coming in while someone waits outside they will never get to the person outside, the person waiting inside the vehicle just gets forgotten about and people who come into the store have priority. Seems like a bad system

The associate should not be on personal phone calls while helping you.. the man on training wasn't able to help, not sure what your training process is , but they should at least be someone.

make new customers aware of the policy that the buildding needs to be cleared at 650pm until 710pm for the alarm, it caused a delay and some confusion when moving in and had movers scheduled for a certain time

You should always have at a minimum two employees at all times. When I arrived, there was only one young lady working alone. I waited about 15-20 mins for my turn. She was focusing on assisting to the best of her abilities. She was unable to do a walk through to make sure the trucks / trailers were being given to the customer in the same condition as stipulated on the agreements. I had to attach the trailer myself (first time ever). It could be a safety for many customers. But overall, this is not a complaint and I truly love your facility and how conveniently located it is! Plus it was nice and clean which is always a plus!

My only comment is sending out a late payment notice to everyone on the account when it is only a day late. I get you want to get paid, but send it to me before you send it out to the alternate contact.

The truck had an overheating issue so instead of 24 hours I had to return it early. To make matters worse I had to drive down the street in said truck because they said it was lower on gas than when I dropped it off. So I drove down the street for over 7 $

I was a little frustrated that I had to drive 40 minutes away for the only available trailer to rent. I was even more frustrated when I accidentally left 3 of the 15 U-Store rented storage boxes I rented at home and was not able to return them to another location. I would have had to drive 40 minutes home, then 40 minutes back to the location and miss my return time window. So instead I bought them out-right for 25 $each at 75 $. This was very frustrating for me and if possible would appreciate some sort of credit if possible. Otherwise, everything was easy and more streamlined than in the past but still can use some improvements.

This particular storage unit in Naugatuck is EXTREMELY unprofessional, STAFF (the manager JESSICA and Stephanie) are rude, lazy, and the way they interact with their customers is unacceptable. I have called the Corporate office and upon speaking to them, they agreed about my recent experience as well; telling me that each store is ran different and they are sorry; and that I am not the only one who has been having a horrible experience. Every time I called to speak to them, they lied and gave me the run around, not to mention when we first got the units, they gave us the WRONG one causing the alarm to go off EVERY TIME we went to the units. They stopped responding to my emails, lied, and told me I was NEVER in touch in touch with them. I had to start documenting my conversations with times, dates, and what conversations went on. I will NEVER recommend the Naugatuck unit to ANYONE! On the RARE chance I spoke to a NICE human being over there, it was a man named Anthony. He actually helped and showed some type of human reactions other than clipped tones, huffing, and he NEVER hung up on me. He also LOOKED out together and not sloppy and unkempt like the women who are in charge. If you use this PARTICULAR STORE in Naugatuck, God speed. Document EVERYTHING and I hope you never have to interact with that horrible human being, Jessica. It's all false impressions at the first interaction. Like I said, God Speed.

Everything was good. I asked in advance about after hours returns and was told I had to be back by 5pm sunday. To learn on sunday that I could have returned the truck after hours. Everything was fine but I could have used the extra hour. Also, for storage rental the unit is not automatically set up for auto pay. I feel like that should be an offered option. I did it on the second day.

The staff is fantastic!!! However I paid up front for an extra month to be cautious. I absolutely lost money. I wouldn't and won't recommend renting a storage unit. I understand that the company may get screwed over because people leave things and never come back. Well this is a case of me having nothing to put there and paying for it.

My reservation was changed several times. I reserved a 15' truck to go one way and eventually was changed to a 10'. I even received an email and call from a service rep “guaranteeing” my reservation. My drop off location was changed 3 times even on the day of my move! I will not use Uhaul again.

I haven't rented a UHaul truck since the 1990s. Naugatuck location was amazing, the personnel was friendly and very helpful. I would recommend anyone to rent from here. I will be back for my next move of my adult child soon I hope. LOL

The car carrier was missing equipment. Drove 50 miles to discover no straps. Its my fault for not double checking but i was assured everything was ready to go

My rental was clean, but it had a bad smell of cigarettes definitely needs so sort of air fresheners!

Make sure the information is correct when going over the ordering process of the truck. I originally ordered online and had the truck for almost 3 days with almost 450miles. However, when dropping truck off at the location in Tilton the employee told me the mileage was for only 350 miles which was not the correct information. Luckily the employee in Tilton waived that fee and made it correct to the original online order.

I was given a trailer I could not use. The car I was trying to move wouldn't fit on the trailer. So I ended not using it. I feel I should have got some kind of financial relief on this but fell on deaf ears. Very poor service

Personal service was excellent! Your Naugatuck location is GREAT! Only issue was that the vehicle needed an oil change, per the dashboard info. Since I only put 50 miles on, it was not an issue.

Mobile check in is inefficient. No point to go wonder the parking lot looking for the truck just to go back inside to get the key. Service representative was rude and slow.

Everything was great, we had our reservation changed due to our needs. However when we had to return the truck and fill the gas tank, we spent 18,04 $ on over 8 gallons of oil. We drove the truck 12 miles. So your trucks get 1,44 miles per gallon. That is outrageous and we are hesitant to believe that is accurate. Perhaps the gas meter isn't accurate and we never had a full tank once we picked up the truck. No one in the office seemed to care about speaking to us on this matter.

It took over 20 minutes to check the truck back in at 6pm I should have been able to drop and go but we had to wait for the one person that was trying to take care of five people at the same time . This is probably a busy check in time another person would have made the process easier . There were four trucks waiting to be checked in .

My 15' truck was screeching all the time, seems like a brake issue, very loud and annoying for my 250 mile trip. The truck was also slow to shift gears, staying in low gear longer than normal causing the fuel consumption to go up. The included a moving blanket and trolley which I did not requested, they were sealed to the back entrance of the truck so I could not move it out of the way, which hinders my loading and offloading and took up much needed loading space. I'm sure if I had broken the deal to move it, I would have been charged for it. Lastly my final amount was way higher than the estimated amount given when Booking. I wish there were more other companies I could have use.

Take pictures of inside, front, back, sides and top of rental instead of having to spend alot of time to check boxes with descriptions and adding photos for every item noticed.

No loading dock! No easy access to get in. Rat traps in the units! A giant pole in my unit taking up space. No carts available. They don't have the big size units, like the one I reserved, they give you 2 units to make the size, which means you have to buy more locks . Just a million reasons to bail on this place.

Everything was ok, But I usually go over a vehicle to make sure certain parts are sanitized and when I did it was quite dirty so in that sense I'd recommend it be cleaned, I went over it with White Sanitizing Wipes and it took about 11to get it clean. So someone didn't wipe it down before I picked it up. Other than that it was ok.

this is a busy place - we were here for over a year and visited our stuff regularly so saw it a lot. Nice folks. Clean bathroom and water fountain was always appreciated.

Everyone here has been helpful throughout my time renting my storage unit. Moving is very stressful and they've been helpful with truck rentals as well. Absolutely no hassles. This location did not provide me with no added stress to my move.

We never had a problem while renting the indoor temperature controlled storage unit. We felt our belongings were 100 % safe being stored there. Any staff we talked with were always friendly and helpful!

I attempted to use after-hours access to my unit for the first time this evening. My name was acknowledged correctly when I swiped my card, but then the access code which had been provided to me by U-Haul (AND IS ON MY E-MAIL FROM U-HAUL) was denied. I am NOT a happy customer right now and am considering canceling my contract with this U-Haul!

Gregory helped me a lot with setting up my storage unit. He provided me with information about movers and trunk rental. He even came out to help me when my card wasn't recognized in the system yet to grant me access to my new unit.

Needed a place close by for storing some personal stuff when I came across this facility. Prices a good and I like the fact that the storage compartments are alarmed. Staff is great to work with. Friendly and courteous. Would recommend this facility to my friends.
