Better maintain vehicles, have more employees available. There was only one employee and he was swamped with work, plus I had to have the vehicle changed because the first on was in horrible condition with broken items in the vehicle

I got charged 20$ extra for a after hour service fee that was not made aware to me before hand when we went over all the billing & he even asked how many hours I’d have the truck & I said “4” which is exactly how long I had it I will never be using uhaul again.

I had a bad experience first wrong equipment I have it fixed but the miles wasn’t the right one supposed they fix it but I still have changed me 29 miles when I actually put 4 miles gas gage was off too

It’s not the fault of the employees at this location, it seems to be a problem higher up. You need to ensure that trucks are on the lot when people with reservations come. If not give them an appropriate notice. This does not apply to me as my truck was available when I requested it, but the woman in front of me, who also had a reservation, was not able to get her truck when expected. And this is not the first time I witnessed an incident like this at a UHaul location. It was a stressful experience seeing her so upset and disappointed. The guys at the location did everything they could to compensate her. Customer service at the higher up level needs to be prioritized. There needs to be a more established system that ensures the best experience and that reservations will be honored, and if not a notice before a customer arrives needs to be done. They also need an update of the store in New Britain, it is way to small, dark and could use some updates. The guys here are great but they need help and they need help from the company in improving customer service overall. Fix it or I’ll be using another moving service in the future.

They were having problems with the WIFI. I believe they mentioned that this happens every day after 5 pm. Maybe this should be looked into. Besides that everything was very satisfactory.

I was over charged $79 for a van. When I went to asked about the over charge, the front desk staff started blaming the system and everybody else in the office. They refund my money and I was told that I'll see the refund in my credit card in few businesses days. Kind of disappointed.

Great customer service inside and outside the guys were top self. Very can do attitudes and willing to answer questions. Have not used UHAUL in years. Have kids in college will and they are moving. Will always use UHAIL. Only suggestion is grommets for buggy cords inside truck.

The truck was given to me with less fuel than the contract stated I mentioned it to the worker and it was quickly fixed/noticed. I didn’t use any of the furniture pads I paid for and the took it off of my bill immediately. They did an excellent job!

The rental truck should be offered for the maximum time it is available not for a couple of hours because moving furniture or equipment can take ALL day. Also the rental truck should be in above average working condition not just given a customer anything. There was no pull down ladder for the truck that I rented which made it very difficult to put furniture in and loading the truck longer putting the customer over the use of time to have the truck. The driver seat was ripped apart and the passenger door was falling apart. There should be better consideration and checking the vehicles when renting to the customers.

Slightly less than condescending attitude from staff. Maybe they were less than happy about working on Sunday. The Check in took 10 minutes,after waiting for previous customer transaction, and the truck was in excellent condition. All in all it was what I expected from a small office operation.

The customer service rep was trying to handle 2 transactions at once and messed up on the amount of days that I requested to rent the truck out for. I was charged for two days which is exactly what I wanted but was only loaned the truck for one day. Bad for business for staff to handle two computers at once because they're trying to impress themselves or the customers.

I will tell you that when I walked into U Haul in New Britain, I was not having a good day. I just left Budget Rental and had a bad experience there and walked out before finishing up the rental process. Budget Rental were unorganized and just made me wait for almost 1 hour. After leaving Budget, I called U-Haul and the Representative I spoke to on the phone was so nice and accommodating. I immediately went to U-Haul New Britain. I walked in the door and I saw a customer before me. I was already 2 hours late to move my dad. Eric was behind the counter and not only he was friendly, professional and knew how to handle 2 customers at one time. I was in a U-Haul rental truck in about 15 minutes. I will never go anywhere else to rent a truck except U-HAUL. Eric made the renting process pleasant, fast and easy. Please tell Eric Thank You again for me for making my bad day good!!
