Have the manager be as helpful as the staff. The manager seemed as unconcerned with helping us however, the worker (Pollard) took time to help and try to resolve the situation that was created at the Klosterman location.

second rental alittle better then first yet I get home and descover I get charged for a utility dolly and furniture pads that were in truck when I rented yet I never broke the seal on them nor used them that was an extra $10 WTF is wrong with these people and It would cost me more to drive all the way back to dispute it these people suck at their job and rip you off

Everything was great about the location's and the service. Absolutely superb customer service. But the SafeTow add on insurance for a tow dolly is a joke. I just called for some assistance and they pretty much told me I was on my own. NOT WORTH THE EXTRA MONEY!!!! Other than that, I completed the transport. But it was one of the hardest jobs I ever pulled off. Slit my hand open, just a total fail by corporate.

The car dolly should have brakes. I own a Master Tow dolly with hydraulic brakes. I noticed a lack of stability when braking in a turn. Your dolly wants to push the back end around toward the front. The hydraulic brake is a no maintenance way to improve the safety of towing a car on a dolley.

Have the customer view the rental, including the gas gauge, before signing the agreement. I was well on my way when I realized the gas gauge was just a little over the 5/8 mark, not the 3/4 mark as the contracty showed. When I got to the pick up, I called the number on the contract. No answer. I called another 7 times during the day. The message was always "we are experiencing difficultlies, call back later". I estimated the mileage and put 2.4 gallons in ($6.00). I had driven 25 miles. At check in the agent said that the gas receipt didn't mean anything. Is U-haul calling me a liar? I can prove everything I said. Let me know what you think. Riobert Beyer

Their direct phone line has issues and could not get thru since Thursday 10/31. Get it fixed . I called yesterday to rent a van. Line had problems. I went elsewhere. They did not have a van so they reserved one at the location that had the problem with the phone line. Back in the opposite direction and time wasted to get van. While I was there a customer argued with a salesperson about the amount of fuel that was in the vehicle they rented. The contract said it had more than it actually had per the customer. This customer was irate. I really haven't had many problems renting from this particular location. Be its the closest to my home which is why I chose this location. Just be sure to get the phone line fixed because there are people who can just drop in to rent and need to call. That's probably one of the most important things I would say this entire survey needs to pay attention to is the phone line.

I was number 4 in line on a Sunday morning. Only one person available for customers. 45 min wait. unacceptable.

I was to pickup van at 5 am while I was returning pickup truck.[ I needed the truck but the location could not reschedule anything. After returning the pickup I started the rental for the van when it came to getting the keys they were not in the box. I had to wait over an 1 and a half for the guy to arrive and he was nasty. When I complained he screamed at me to give him the key back and I left. When I got in the truck he had already checked me out so I had no chance to check the mileage or the fuel. I believe the mileage charged is about 25 miles too much. This is the 3rd vehicle I rented in a couple weeks at this location and they constantly make mistakes. It wouldn't be so bad but the employees all have a bad attitude and the owner has the same pissy attitude. I do believe I deserve some sort of credit! please respond

Everything was good so far. The only thing that upset me was the fact that they gave me the gas tank at 1/2 tank instead of a full tank, so it’s a little hard to return exactly at 1/2 and I over filled it and they didn’t compensate for the extra 4 or maybe 5 gallons that I paid extra. However if I hadn’t filled it they would’ve charge me $4 and some change per gallon. It’s just unfair.

We ranted a storage unit for 5 months. Overall, it worked out well. We did have one issue - we stored a mattress - but needed to dispose of it in the dumpster due to droppings. We ended up buying new. This was the only loss we had. Overall experience was good. The heat had no bearing on our items and I suspect that had to do with the temp-controlled interior units. So we were please that there was no heat or water damage. We expected to lose something due to the travel and longer term storage so I feel pretty happy that what we did lose was limited to just that. We could have lost far more.

I was sent to three locations. There first told me they dident have resvation and not the size unit. The second had the size but said it was broken. Then was sent to a different site got there and then had to drive to the first site since this was a unmanned site. Then the code dident work. The storage unit that was assigned had someone's stuff already. Then the unit was a 10×8×13 we should have had a 10x10x15. After getting uloaded we need a second unit and a another lock the the next morning the gentleman showed us a 10x10x25 uned that would have worked to start with now we have to units and lost about four hours of paying for help trying to get in a preplanned move.
