I had reserved a van online Monday where it asked for my drivers license and credit card information and received a reservation number for 10:00am pick up. Upon my arrival the women who gives out keys informed me that I would have to repeat the same steps I had done online Monday. It took around to 25 to 30 minutes to get key. The women was getting angry because I did not know how to properly work the app on my phone. She needs better customer service experience working with people unaware of how the process works. She kept saying "Look at the paper on the wall" and tapping her thighs.

One suggestion I have is that I felt like asking to put someone else name and phone number is infringing on someone's privacy. While I am using the app in the store an employee should be able to verify the identity of the person making the reservation. Other than that, excellent process from start to finish.

I went back to the location where they attributed the light to cold weather....but they would not provide any mileage relief since I had to drive the van back for their review. Second, they provided a van with less than a full tank of gas. It's impossible to return the vehicle with the same amount of gas so they "win" there too. I generally found them to be not very customer friendly.

The place was busy and about to close but there was as little help from the staff. While the fine was fine, it was extremely bad weather that evening and the van needed new windshield wipers.

This location in New Rochelle needs a total evaluation as far as manager and workers goes.

Using the app for all rentals is not my preferred process but they are very helpful to support the people who have some resistance. I even used the free storage room offer after my first (and second) truck rentals that happened in a week. Even though we made the reservation online, for a Sunday, from the Beechwood Ave., New Rochelle location, they were very slow with the processing the rental. 2 workers served 1 other costumer beside us, and it took almost half an hour to get the key to the vehicle. The gas tank was almost empty, under 1/4 and we returned with the same, but they charged $33 for gas plus $30 fuel service charge, which is unfair and ridiculous! In addition, they charged $20 for after hour return, despite we returned the vehicle exactly in 6 hours. When I called them, they said we were supposed to check out on the app. Nobody told us that, we didn't download the app, because we didn't know we need to. So, it was $83 overcharge, and when I complaint they hanged the phone on me. Very poor costumer service!!!! We never going to rent from them!!!! Last month we rented the same U-Haul van at the Drive-up storage in New Rochelle and drove the same distance with it, and we paid $133. Big difference!

The contract # I had to valid ate the promotion wasnt working. I then called the 1800 number to resolve the issue. I was rest assured that there was no issue and the free month would be applied upon checking into my unit. I complete d my check in online and made my reservation. When I arrived at the facility to check in in was told the promotion ended. At took 2 representatives to finally fix the issue. After resolving that issue, I tried to go to my unit. I wasnt able to access it because the pin code in was given for the gate was incorrect. I then had to return to the deal to get my gate code reset. My check in process took over an hour. And I am a customer who registered fully online and paid in advance.

From just pulling up to the roll up doors and not having to get out of your car the roll up door opens automatically then once inside the bay after swiping in the dollys are there to load my property once in a huge elevator and dropped off at my floor I have access to my unit through a huge roll up door. All the while protected by cameras and a convenient two way intercom where you are in touch with the front desk in seconds. They also gave restrooms on every floor which is great. It is the best storage facility I ever rented from and I rented quite a few. But now all my storage needs will be done at this facility solely. I recommend this facility to everyone including people with disabilities such as myself.
