JASON RI was disappointed that the cargo van we rented did not have a full tank of gas like we were expecting. It was only 1/4 full. And we had to bring it back with a full tank of gas, so I feel like I had to pay for an extra tank of gas just to use what I had rented.

LEUL HI reserved a 6x12 trailer to tow behind my Tacoma. The experience was smooth as silk. The very professional staff checked me out without issue about 50 minutes before my reserved time (already ahead of schedule!). I was able to load, move, and unload, returning the trailer (unexpectedly the same day, rather than the next day). The VERY professional staff checked me back in within minutes, and had me on my way! Have I mentioned the VERY PROFESSIONAL STAFF?? I have used these folks before, which is why I went with them again. The rented equipment was awesome and the staff was MORE awesome! FIVE STARS is not enough!

PATRICK CExceptionally friendly, efficient and effective staff. The van I rented was perfect for me, and perfectly new (just over 3000 miles). I would have been as happy with a 30000 mile rental but it does give a great impression to get into a new vehical. Easy place to get to for pick-up and drop-off (I95 exit 166). The NAME is the only confusing element. Everyone in the area knows this location to be Newington (or south Springfield) - but the name uses "Lorton" -- maybe it only confused me.

JUAN FI drove the truck 27 miles total but filling it up took 6,8 gallons. The gas mileage was atrocious. The truck runs poorly. Then you make your customers complete the pre rental activities and the delivery activities. The least you could do is provide a well maintained and well running vehicle.

DIGINU T1st, I was assigned a truck that was blocked off by another truck. So, had to change the paperwork, mileage and gas amount reading. This delayed my pickup substantially! Then assigned to another. The local trucks are old!

ABEL GI rented a trailer, and although I had no problems, I wonder how often the trailers are hooked up and test 'driven' to check for issues not found during a visual inspection. I think the trailer I had was out of alignment.

MAKHAYEL AMy experience at this location was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The two women working the desk on Sunday, August 24, at around 11:40 a.m., were rude and impatient. As a first-time storage renter, I needed assistance, but they were unhelpful, even though the store wasn't busy. To start, one of the employees failed to ring up my storage unit rental along with the U-Haul truck. This forced me to leave and come back, wasting my time. When I returned, I realized the unit was too small. The employee incorrectly handled the exchange, telling me she couldn't cancel the first order. She simply charged me the difference instead of refunding and re-billing, which made the transaction confusing and seemed like a mistake. The issues continued when I discovered the second unit was also too small. I had to return a third time. Thankfully, a different employee was working the desk. She was able to correctly process the exchange, refunding the previous charge and then billing for the new, larger unit. This showed me that the initial employee's handling of the situation was either due to a lack of training or an unwillingness to help. Overall, the process was a frustrating ordeal because of the poor customer service and billing errors. I would not recommend this location. The high price of the unit combined with the terrible service makes it a poor value.

Zargham GI guess because every truck/vehicle isn't always rented out that once cleaned they are not cleaned for pick up not knowing if they will be assigned. Maybe atleast wipe down side view mirrors and windshield to clean up dust for sitting so that it does not hinder or blurr vision while driving once it is picked up.
THOMAS WZack is Outstanding!!! A very different experience at the Terminal road location than the Centerville road location. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. My lights wouldn't work so the cashier that was hooking the trailer up tried a second trailer to troubleshoot herself and it failed again which identified the issue as my car. The equipment installed on my car was from a u-haul dealership so I knew it should work. She asked the mechanic/Tech to come and help, he immediately started to troubleshoot and identified it was a fuse missing (40 amp) he got a 40amp fuse, tested the lights worked successfully. ZACK was very helpful and polite and satisfied my need to get/use the trailer and made my day with a great customer service attitude. Thanks Zack I greatly appreciate your assistance!!!

General Manager Sherev Buchanan was just outstanding! She made the check-out easy and provided so much information that we will look into with UHAUL corporate.

I liked the consistency of staff - I saw the same employees every time I was at my unit and the manager was often around and interacting with customers. I had confidence my items were safe and secure. My primary area of feedback regards access to the loading bays. Cars and trucks are allowed to park there when they are not actively loading and unloading. On my last two visits to clean out my unit I had to carry items from the loading zone down the stairs and to my vehicle. Super inconvenient. On at least one occasion, one of the employees vehicles was parked in a spot for loading and unloading. (I saw this employee moving and Getting things out of the same vehicle the day before.) From a design perspective, it makes no sense that the customer parking is accessed from the truck rental return lane. So during busy times, those spots are either not accessible or you can't get your vehicle out.

At one point, I needed a large access garage door type access but the unit I rented only came with a small door-sized access. While a new unit was eventually available, it did delay my rental by three weeks.

Over the period of time I had the locker the alarm went off quite a few times while I was at my locker and the horn was right there and it was painfully loud. Understand the need for security but hope a way can be found to maintain security without assaulting the ears of people unlucky enough to be near the horn.

I ask him to waive the fee for me.. The work customer service skills was poor judgement and made me feel very unhappy due to their problem with the elevator not working.. I spoke to someone in the office and they assured me that I would not receive a refund. In addition, on the third floor, there are two double doors but instead of both swinging out or in the same way, one of the doors swings out and the other swings in, making it difficult to move in and out through that hallway. The furniture carts are also very small and not able to accommodate tables or sofas.

Representative went over all the details of how to access the facility after hours and emailed additional information. The reason for this is their check-out policy of not pro-rating the monthly rent fee. Being in the military I cannot predict when I am going to be leaving and as it worked out I had to close out my storage space on the 10th of July. This means that I paid $192 for 10 days of usage. If I had to check out on the 2nd of the month then I would have paid $192 for only 2 days of usage. This policy of not pro-rating the rental fee is disadvantageous to military personnel who may have to leave in the middle of the month. That being the policy, I am somewhat surprised that I wasn't forced to return the over-priced mandatory lock that I had to purchase from U-haul when I started renting the storage space just so it could be re-sold for more profit by U-haul. I would not recommend this storage location to any of my military friends.
