KIRK L | Overall ExperienceMy experience at this location was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The two women working the desk on Sunday, August 24, at around 11:40 a.m., were rude and impatient. As a first-time storage renter, I needed assistance, but they were unhelpful, even though the store wasn't busy. To start, one of the employees failed to ring up my storage unit rental along with the U-Haul truck. This forced me to leave and come back, wasting my time. When I returned, I realized the unit was too small. The employee incorrectly handled the exchange, telling me she couldn't cancel the first order. She simply charged me the difference instead of refunding and re-billing, which made the transaction confusing and seemed like a mistake. The issues continued when I discovered the second unit was also too small. I had to return a third time. Thankfully, a different employee was working the desk. She was able to correctly process the exchange, refunding the previous charge and then billing for the new, larger unit. This showed me that the initial employee's handling of the situation was either due to a lack of training or an unwillingness to help. Overall, the process was a frustrating ordeal because of the poor customer service and billing errors. I would not recommend this location. The high price of the unit combined with the terrible service makes it a poor value.
