Tell customer that when you purchase the insurance for vehicle that is for liability only. If someone backs up or makes damage to vehicle, it will cost you a250,00 $ deductible !!!Michael R.

The people at Tetris never showed up to load or unload. When I contacted them the man who refused to give his name said he had been trying to contact me. The number he gave was nothing that I was familiar with. When I asked for his name he hung up on me. This was the second time I tried to use them and it backfired both times. I will never again use them and definately will tell anyone I see not to use them as they are not reliable. I had the opposite experience with the company in Rochester last week who were wonderful headed by Tony Taylor. Please pass this info. on to management. Thank you! Jan MazerJANIRENE M.

My issue is not with the Military road location. In fact the person who helped me was friendly and just doing the best he could under terrible circumstances. My problem is that, despite the fact that I registered my 15 foot uhaul almost a month in advance, the day before I was told I would have to pick it up in another town. Then I was changed to a 30 foot truck on the Main Street location in Buffalo. However, the truck was not there. Then, I was downgraded to a 10 foot truck at the military road location. This location was 15 miles from my house and I didn't have a car. But it was my only option. No one compensated me for the downgrade in my truck, nor did they have the dolly which I ordered and paid for. The downgrade meant that we had to throw away some valuable furniture which we now have to repurchase in our new location. I wish I could get my money back for the awful inconvenience and terrible experience. I will certainly rent from a competitor in the future.EVANTHOMAS M.

Upon receipt of the vehicle there were large scratches on the side, broken bumper, soda cans in the back seat, that was not noted on the walk through. MovingHelpers schedule delay pushed my load/unload schedule back which in anticipation cause a delay in vehicle return. I requested another rental day in advance noticing a possible movers delay. The employee's were rude, threatening and condescending on how predicted delay was all the customer fault even though they were informed that a delay will occur and would not accommodate the customer's request for anticipated delay in returning the vehicle.JOSEPHHENRY VIVE A.

Service was excellent at the store. Woman was very kind and helpful with all my needs. I realize the store is short staffed. The check back in was a nightmare at 1041 pm trying to be nice and return early so someone else could get a truck and I spent over an hr on the phone waiting for someone to pick up my call And in that time I went to make sure I swiped out of my storage unit I had seen a small uhaul truck leaving from the back before I got there When I checked my card said unable because closed which was fine But when I walked past the sliding doors they opened so I looked in to see if the key was in correct position the burgled alarm sounded So you need to have your guys that shut the building down make sure that is in right place when they lock up so this don't happen in the futurePAMELAA M.

This was a frustrating horrible experience for me. I set up my reservation for a 20 foot truck. The day of my move- pretty much last minute- I get a call saying the truck I wasn't going to be able to have the truck for the day I reserved because someone else who had the truck was having problems. Someone else's move should NOT have anything to do with my move or anyone else's move. There should be enough trucks of different sizes. The computer was not working and it took about 15-20 minutes to get my payment processed. This was a horrible experience for me.Patricia P.

Make sure the size rental is available as ordered. I received a call the day before pickup stating the trailer I ordered was unavailable and that they upgraded to the next size at no additional cost. Problem was my vehicle could not pull the larger weight. No trailer was available for my Saturday pickup. I was rescheduled for Sunday pickup. It worked out but added stress to my departure.KAREN C.
I have rented uhaul trucks many times these past two years. The vehicle 10ft truck given to mr on 7/28 was a disaster. Truck pulled up. Employee walks away into the store I get in. Dome light on NEVER turned off. Large Uhaul advertisement cardboard sign left on dashboard. I take care of removing it, still can't get done light off. Drive vehicle on the thruway to have the large visor drop in my face while driving 65 miles per hour. Try to fix. It was busted and monkey rigged the missing part was in the side pocket of the door . Had black electrical tape. Brakes were not right. Truck would make a noise and pull to the right. I should have returned the vehicle but I had already started driving on the thruway. Needed to be at a location by a certain time. No window to return. I bring the Uhaul back. Explain to the gentleman my issues and concerns. The VEHICLE needs to be looked at. He in a polite manner states oh thats nothing. The visor does that. I said drop in front of the drivers face ???. The brakes not being right, the dome light being left on having no clue how to turn it off, the visor dropping, scaring the heck out of me causing a serious situation. The truck has the windows cleaned. Back of truck inside looked over , only to be parked in a slot for someone else to rent without being looked over and necessary repairs made. I havent had issues in the past until today. That vehicle should have been pulled in. The visor should have been fixed properly, brakes checked before someone gets in an accident. How does an employee not remove a large cardboard advertising rent UHAUL off the front dashboard. As soon as I got in the truck, turned the air on the sign blew up front the air. I took it off trifolded it and put it behind the passenger seat. Employees need to be more aware of their trucks especially after a customer informs them of issues only to see them do nothing, park the vehicle waiting for their next customer. Less than 24 hours before our appointment I was told that my original location would not have my reserved equipment at the time I requested it. So it was either take a truck that was half the size I needed or wait until 2 pm (8 hours after the time i needed it). They also offered me the truck I requested at a completely different location which ended up adding miles to my trip and overages on the reservation. In the end it worked out, but added to the stress of my move.Kevin B.

I reserved the truck for 6 hours, the mobile check in didn't work, I had to wait in line do by the time that was all finished I only had the truck for 5 hours, I estimated 28 miles driving and actually only drove 20 but was charged for the full amount, I even refilled the gas with more than what was necessary but was not given any type of discountKaren M.
We had reserved for the 2 days after my daughter's wedding. The very next dayâ€¦ early Sunday morning we rushed to make a quick call to UHaul to change our original request. Ever part of changing the reservation and assisting us was prefect. My husband and I our truly appreciative to the Customer Service reps that listen (we had a ton of wedding decor and supplies that needed transportation) to the UHaul reps in Niagara Falls! Rodent infestation and mildew causing damage to some items. Paid for climate control and should not have mildew. Insurance company difficult to work with. Agent is not responding to my emails because I did not accept the initial offer and refused to sign off before the unit was completely empty. Once unit was empty more damage was found. Once I filed a claim, staff at local U-Haul facility refused to speak with me. Most staff members at local facility we're not knowledgeable of the procedure to file claim. One person, I believe his name was William Wilson, who has left the position, was as helpful as he could be and seem to be knowledgeable. I didn't store food yet after a year in storage there was a tremendous amount of mouse droppings everywhere including my boxes!! The mice also tore up the newpaper i used to wrap my objects up with. The staff member was friendly, but didn't explain things well at all. For instance, I only realized after that I am paying for a high unit rather than a lower (6 foot) one. The staff member just assigned me the unit without asking which height I would need. I would recommend this storage facility with the caveat of asking tons of questions. I reserved and paid for an Outdoor, Pull up storage unit months before my move-in day. When I arrived on my move-in day, I was informed that there were no outdoor units available. I even showed the printed paperwork. They said there would only be one inside of the building, but it was on the first floor. This was a struggle for the people who helped me move in, as we all thought (as we should), that I was going to drive up to my outdoor unit that I reserved. I didn't give them a hard time, they said they were sorry, etc. Anyways, it all worked out. (Mind you, I still thought that the replacement unit they gave me would still be climate controlled, as this is what I reserved to have.) When I arrived 3 months later to move out, I was astounded to see my entire mattress as well as my box spring were completely molded. All different colors. After checking the website and storage map, I found that the room I was given, 1271, was indeed NOT climate controlled. I also was billed 148 $monthly, whereas I thought it was going to be 114 $a month. Besides the moldy mattress and moldy box spring and the room replacement, the young male employees were always very helpful and super kind.Alexis B. | Expérience générale
