Pickup went fine but when I went to drop it of the guy outside handling the returns was cleaning a van he saw me pull in looked at me for a second and went back to what he was doing the I got out of the truck and walked over to him and said excuse me (nicely but loud enough to be heard) he did not even acknowledge me then I went inside to try to talk to someone else and they said the guy out at the canopy would take care of me so then I walk back out to him he sees me walking over there and he was looking at me when I got about 4 feet away from him and I said â€œhey, how's it goingâ€ he ignored me and went back to what he was doing (at no point said just wait a minute just outright ignored me) he did not help me until I border line yelled what do you want me to do with the key to the truck and he said put it in the truck and I will check it in later so I did I was very disappointed with that customer service on the drop off and would probably not use this location again because of that, I get it if the guy was busy but the least he could do was say hey just give me a few minutes not just ignore me it was extremely rudeCODY B.
The person that helped me was kind, knowledgeable and super welcoming. I witnessed him interface with a colleague (a mail carrier) and the exchange just showed what a great and responsible employee he is. Five stars for Mr. Doherty! Thanks for an excellent experience and happy holidays!NICOLE L.

The entire experience was so bad i may not use use uhaul for quite awhile. Or my employees or volunteers. We were one hour late becsuse uhaul had staffing problems. The hitch would not come off and uhaul csme out snd found it rusted. That cost us hours of valuable time. Uhaul changed the drop off locstion and that made it much more difficult to deliver christmas trees to the poor. To top that we accumulated WELL OVER three hours in waiting for uhaul to pick up thr phone over sbout 15-18 attrmpts. Awful! The staff at uhaul in stamford however could not have been betterDAVID S.

When we first put our things onto storage the garage door for the LIFT was broken so we had to figure away around that to get our heavy things up to the second floor. On our move out day the garage door broken and the lift was broken so we had to move our stuff from the second floor down the stairs. I don't know why it's so hard to have working garage doors and lifts. The entire time I rented a unit from here The lift never worked. What could have been a horrible experience was turned into an overall good one thanks to the person who was working when I checked-in, Kenysha Watkins. Technology seemed to fail and the whole experience took longer than hoped and expected, but Kenysha was awesome and left me walking away satisfied instead of annoyed and angry. Computers were down. Was made to reach out to customer support line to get my rental. I was transferred from person to person with long wait times in between. Spent at least 25 minutes on the call. When I finally got to someone who could process my rental, she asked to talk to the Uhaul rep on the site and proceeded to argue with him. It was extremely unprofessional, and I felt embarrassed having to listen to the discussion. After this the person on the phone processed my order quickly and painlessly.Justin P.

I reserved a rental on line. When I went to pick up the rental, the representative was unable to complete the contract process. The representative was employed for two days and unfamiliar with the computer system. He was unable to load my license onto the contracting app. I had to call uhaul to have a customer service representative complete the transaction. This caused in a one hour delay. Also, the interior windshield of the vehicle was filthy.R O.
The gentleman helping us was nice but it was apparent that he was not properly trained on how to do a vehicle rental. We spent roughly an hour trying to get the truck rental taken care of with several calls to the boss. Need to better train employees before leaving them on their own.DANIEL W.

Maybe there could be a notification somewhere that lets the customer know that they'll need to wait for approval before getting the keys to the vehicle. That way, the customer knows that, while their pick-up time is 9 am, they might not leave with the vehicle until 9:15-9:30 am based on the process.Matthew H.

I would give an excellent rating but there was an equipment failure at the facility. The elevator on the Second level wouldn't work which is very inconvenient for me and I had to load the conveyor that was further away, twice, just to get to my storage unit. The manager was unable to initiate at pass card as the readers weren't working that day. She went above and beyond to help me and I thought she could really use more help.
