DAVID MThe entrance to the lot was blocked with incoming rentals. I rented the van and started the vehicle to warm it up. I then went to move my vehicle and park it. When I returned to the rental I found the vehicle locked. The office did not have a spare key and the employee said I had to pay to open it through your app. I said this is not my fault he explained technically after I take delivery it is. I said technically if you kept your lot organized I would not have needed to go back to my vehicle to park it. I asked him to give me a different vehicle as we have no idea how long it would take to get it unlocked. He said he was not able to do that. I had to drive home to let the people helping me move they had to wait. I have no idea how the vehicle door got locked. I did not even sit in the vehicle. I reached in and started it. I do not feel this was handled properly. I should not have had to pay to unlock the vehicle. I'm writing this and I'm not even sure how much i was charged as I have not checked the invoice yet. VIDAL MThere were several appointments that seemed to have been made at 9:30 so the equipment was not actually received until half an hour of waiting. Additionally the last minute change of a reservation that required a 30 minute rather than 5 minute drive was not appreciated. I understand the unpredictability of loaning equipment but a reservation guarantee should be less inconvenient.

CECILIA RPlease inspect the cargo van for strong smells. The one that I rented smelled strongly of something (possible cigarette smoke) that we had to drive from North Hills, CA to North Hollywood, CA with both windows down the entire drive.

SARKIS ZU-Haul was dirty, windows can't see due to first, crumbs inside and no gas. Also I was not told this was a virtual pick up due to the time. I had to call and find out at 6am. Follow the steps and the lock did not open. Never again.
William BI rented a dolly for freezing but when I arrived for pick up the truck they didn't have any dolly when I spoke to them the night before to confirm that they had one this is always a problem over and over
EDUARDO GMy reservation was moved appropriately 10 miles farther away and my wife was livid about it it took me 45 minutes to get to the appointment place to start loading the truck. The people at the rental place were very nice and accommodating.
TERRY CI rented a truck from a different location I booked it in advance , they called me the day before told me they gonna transfer my reservation to a farther location , went to the other location the day of my reservation I didn’t get a truck until 11 am when my reservation was at 10:30 , the person before me was late returning his truck , how do u guys rent out trucks when they’re not available , very unprofessional

BOUGAR LI have nothing bad to say. The only reason I ended my storage rental is that I moved into my home and storing my items was no longer necessary.

skyler AWith your location, I haven't any problem. U-Haul have a problem with app it doesn't work correctly. I left five hour forget the car in the night. It doesn't work. I change to phone the app. Is not see my location.

SAMSON BI was given a truck. I had left low air in the tires. They gave me a new truck which had the same problem eith tirrs plus the seat couldn't be moved. I had to go get help again.
ANGELA HThe U-Haul rep was not going to hook up the chain restraints but only secure the car with the front wheel straps. Also he was unaware of the gear setting. We protested such a hookup and finally he secured the car with the dolly chains. After driving a few hundred miles we found both front wheel straps off the wheels. Had we not protested we would have been looking at a total loss of our car and possibly a wrongful death lawsuit.
TIMOTHY CI have a really bad experience with my pick up. I had a reservation at 14601 Sherman Way at 2,3pm. I went there and they told me they didn't have the truck I reserved because someone took it and haven't returned it yet so they sent me to another location. I went to another location and again they said they didn't have one available and they had to sent me to another location. I had to drive to another location and this time they had a truck available for me. So it took an hour to get the truck after my reservation was rescheduled 2 times, i had to drive to another vicinity to get the truck and i have to pay more because the pickup was further than I expected.
KANTAPONG WThe van given to me smelled like a sewer. I was given another and didn't realize until heading west that evening that the sun visor was missing. (It was on the floor between the seats and there was a screw in the door side pocket

FELIPE L | Expérience généraleThe two men that were working yesterday around 6pm on March 29, 2024, when I checked in did an excellent job helping me get acclimated to the storage unit. I didn't get their names but there were two Hispanic men one with face jewelry and beard and a shorter heavier set mustached man. The heavier set man moustached man walked me personally through the facility although he said that he was new spoke to me as a true professional, recognizing my Military Veteran Service as a US Air Force Desert Storm Veteran. He gave me the perfect experience in settling into my new storage unit. Because of him I will make recommendations if anyone (including Veterans) I know needs to obtain any services including storage to seek Services at your facility. Thank you, Ed Clemena

Rick M | Expérience généraleThere was one isse/problem, there are (2) card readers on the outside of the building where my storage unit was located. 1 Reader is for checkin/checkou and the 2nd reader for opening the sliding glass doors to enter the building. Not sure why there needs to be 2 readers for this task,but the problem was the 1st reader was partially broken/damaged and you couldnt read the screen AT ALL so you didn't know what it did, or didn't say, which is just frustrating. Instead of having something broken/damaged, simpify it so it's just lights vs a display or something. more sophisticated. I understand the area and possibly some people in the area/passer by, or unkind custotmers can cause such damage. thank you for everything, it was very much appreciated and should the need arise again, we will use the location and/or other uhaul services again!

Why am I not getting a parcel refund at the least? I'm a senior citizen on a fixed income and homeless, and I feel like I've been taken advantage of.

There were a couple time the staff helped me just as they were closing and that was really great of them I was under so much stress and pressure that day and needed to place a few things in my storage locker. I had gotten there 5-10 minutes after they were supposed to close and I caught them on time and they let me in and waited the short time I promised. So helpful. Each time I needed help I always got it. So blessed.

Kathleen S | Premières impressionsYour questions are targeted to answers you seek but do not describe how from when s reservation was booked the person Derick stated he was able too ok book the truck rental and the storage unit at the same location Which was what I stated I needed However Upon arrival not only were they booked At separate locations But I had been told by vehicle could park safely on the lot while I was moving The lot manager said not if those bookers don't know what's up There is no parking on the lot only street parking And That was limited and a walk-in back Plus must move vehicle or risk towing Then drive to storage facility fifteen minutes away and the lockers were small and the narrow corridor was an upper unit It will be difficult to load especially after moving items all night Now I will need labor to assist me $$$ and don't know if they towed my car at the other site It's a nightmare Now add no income homeless to the mix And saving items from landlords threatening to thrown them away And i I re as l realize now the high rental cost these days and how Storage facilities jack up the price beyond high demand And will continue to do so in rents So my things may not be mine for long. And mostly worthless to anyone else When I go to the unit I may need bigger storage and it's not available A National corporation and this is how you run it And public storage is much worse! Why?

I had to drive 17 miles to my cousin's to store the rest. Your staff was no help at all and the girl up front acted like I was inconveniencing her. It wasn't until the next day when I returned my truck, that Stephanie was the only one extremely professional, knowledgeable and compassionate.
