every time I had to deal with the originating store (Cincinnati, OH), I had problems and it took multiple trips to store and/or phone calls to resolve. However, the service I received at the receiving destination (California) was excellent. I had to call a few times to inform of address and date changes and every time the correct information was taken and acted upon. Blanca, one of your associates, was very courteous and efficient upon delivering the U-box and she followed up with me to make sure every thing was okay and I arranged the pick up of the box through her. She went above and beyond and deserves recognition for her excellent customer service.

I rented truck to do a quick pickup. The mileage on the odometer didn't match my paperwork, they were very polite and took care of it after I returned the truck, no hassle. But I wonder if I hadn't taken a picture of the mileage as I was pulling out of the driveway. The truck had 124K miles and the handling was poor (steering very sloppy).

I was overcharged and the manager NEVER returned my calls. I called him several times (6-7) and not once did he call back. I was suppose to have a free month instead I was charged $1100 for 2 months. At ~$80 per month...(~$400+insurance) there is no way it should have been that much. I could have hired a moving company for that amount. the people who delivered and picked up the uboxes were AWESOME as were the schedulers. The ubox drivers/deliverers called and kept me informed of drop off and pick up days and times. The schedulers worked with me when i had an unexpected change of plans. Based on the drivers, deliverers and schedulers i would recommend Uhaul, but based on the managers responsiveness, I would not.

I tried for three weeks to schedule the move of our Uboxes . I kept getting different answers and being connected with different people about scheduling. The week of when our boxes were moved, the scheduling site told us they did not have a driver available for an indefinite time. It was only when we called corporate that we were able to make our move happen. Tina, the driver/UBox mover was wonderful, flexible, and helped us in the end.

Well, I was unsuccessful in doing the online return. We ended up needing alittle more time. It could have been user error. I hope all is well. We filled the tank and put the keys in the drop box.Getting the truck was very easy online.

It took me 30 minutes from when I arrived to when I left with a truck. The app is clunky and I still had to go inside to pick up the key. When I went inside the associate informed me that he accidentally rented my truck out to the person before me. Upon review, the system still had my name on the original truck and the previous customer was assigned a different truck. Thankfully the previous customer was still in the lot and the associate brought the truck to me; however it took me 30 minutes from arrival to departure. Part of the delay is that it took over 10 minutes to “verify my driving credentials”. I had reserved the truck for 3 hours so you can understand that loosing 30 minutes is a lot of time.

Improve the access to get in for returning a unit by using a smart phone. I tried last night on my brothers cell and he had issues of getting thru on my account. I returned the trailer and got a receipt this morning so I hope things worked well. Tom Grow 513 667 2407

My trucks door was messed up and it clearly had had issues before you could see where the track was all beat up. It wouldn't close after opening it the second time either after roadside assistance came out to fix it. I had to return it with the door up because the roller kept coming off the track.

Uhaul app and online site were a nightmare to use. Customer service phone number took forever to connect to a rep every time I called. And uhaul truck began SMOKING heavily on our way back, forcing us to pull over on the side of the highway and had to have the fire department come out and assess the situation and take us back to the uhaul lot. The customer service reps did not even comp/reduce our bill as a courtesy for us being stranded on the side of the highway in the heat and potentially killing ourselves in the process... will never use uhaul services again.

I hired movers off the U-Haul website and in my opinion it needs to state at checkout big and bold that you still need a truck. They showed up at my house and asked where it was and I had no idea. Luckily they were very patient and waited an hour and half for me to get one and it all worked out but it was a little overwhelming and frustrating when I first realized.

Please tell them to explain the after hours procedure so that customer knows what to do to check in equipment. We were not notified and there was no directions on the instruction sheets given to us. We were charged a service fee and strongly feel this should be removed since we were not told. Also, I sent an email in response to the receipt on Monday. The original plan was to have my boxes located out of the Sharonville facility. Last minute U Haul changed pickup to Colerain. This added a lot more time to my packers day due to excessive commute to and from Colerain UHAUL vs commute from Sharonville. I basically lost 4 hours of work due to extra travel time needed by the moving help arranged by U Haul. So my packers were rushing to pack. Uhaul also only quoted 6 boxes, I actually need 9. I ended up having to rent a storage facility near my house to store what could not be loaded into the u boxes. The person I spoke to at Uhaul to arrange the boxes asked very few questions other than how many bedrooms I had. She then said we would need 6 U boxes. Well that didn't work out. Then Colerain uhaul told the move helpers that they could only retrieve one box at a time so this slowed my move in process down. During the move out process we had two boxes at a time for packing. Why only one box at a time for move in? Lastly, I received a call from Colerain U Haul saying I owed another $280(Forgot exact amount). I questioned him saying I paid all charges up front. He said he would get back to me. Never called me back. Just frustrating to get a call saying I owe more money when I paid everything that was quoted up front. Lastly, The pads inside several of the uhauls were tossed about, not in bags, scattered about. I thought I was getting clean new pads. Did the people that used these before me have COVID, are these clean? I don't know and had to use them. Just unprofessional and sloppy work by U Haul. No one at U Haul Colerain opened them to inspect before sending to me? Not very happy with this process and as to using U Haul again, No.. I'll pay extra for something better. You guys really need to get organized and get your offices communicating better. Build in robust processes and hold your various facilities to a hire standard of customer service, execution and fulfillment. Not good! The customer service reps on the 800 numbers were very friendly and helpful answering my questions. That's the one positive!

Mechanically, the truck drove great. However, the AC kept going out and on a drive to Texas, the last 250 miles was really tough. Also, the brakes squealed really bad, like the pads were worn. Lastly, the alignment seemed off as the steering wheel had to be turned to the left to go straight. It made using the steering controls difficult. Honestly, I expected better.

We made a reservation with the general manager a week prior to needing a particular sized truck and was promised our most satisfaction. Sadly, promised satisfaction was not close to being MET. We had to switch our hours and got a smaller truck than we were promised. THIS MADE AN INCONVIENCE ON ALL OF US. WE HAD TO EVEN PAY EXTRA THAN WE WERE SUPPOSE TO BECAUSE OF THE INCONVENIENCE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. I HIGHLY DON'T RECOMMEND ANYONE TO USE THE COLERAIN LOCATION. VERY DISGUSTED WITH OUR TIME SPENT WITH THESE PEOPLE AND THEIR SO CALLED COMPANY.
