I rented a 5 x 8itch trailer and I indicated that I needed a ball and hitch for the trailer. I was informed this Oakville location had everything I needed. When I get there they do have the ball and hitch except they are separate and they do not have the tools to put it together. I had to go back to Royal windsor location to get what I needed and then go back to this Oakville location. When I get there, we hook it up but the trailer lights are not working. After much rewiring the trailer is deemed good to go. Total time from first arrival to leaving is 4 hours. I'm driving to New Brunswick. Now I am late leaving. In the middle of the night, I get pulled over by the police because although brakes and signals working, my night running lights were out, so essentially I was driving with an unlit trailer. Not safe. Luckily I am almost at my destination so I only have to drive another hour with my hazzards on - annoying. Next day, I drive to nearest u-haul for assistance. 3 hours of rewiring and replacing wires and marker lights on the trailer to make it road worthy. This was an added stress and a significant delay to my journey. I use u haul a lot. This should have been a simple hook up and go.

I filled in a check-in form online to make the process faster. However when i turned up, the staff told me that you do not accept international drivers licenses. I dont understand why i did the check-in, where i clearly market 'international license' and uploaded photos of the front and back. It is precisely to avoid delays. I had to wait for a friend with an Ontario license to arrive to salvage the situation. While the staff were curteous about it and still gave me my rental for the period i needed, i wasted time waiting around and was distressed for some time. This could have been avoided had the online check-in flagged my license or something! Thanks, Nabilah

I rented a cargo, Van. Fuel level was less than the half of tank, but was shown on the printed form as the half of tank. The U-Haul driver who checked the car corrected that on my paper. I returned the car at same level I took it with and mentioned that to the younwoman who checked tha car. I received the invoice by email and found out that, they charged me for gas. I called the location and advised them that there is a gas charge although I show the person who received the truck from me that revised pick up form by the Uhaul employee. they forwarded me to another person, who promised I will receive a call soon with this regard, which did not happen.

Mobile pick-up did not work... for some reason, it requires my phone location and couldn't do that. I'd say, it cost me more time as a result. Then, I had to wait in line for 30 mins while the long check in process took place for the people in front of me... disappointing. I'm going to try a different vendor next time I need a rental truck, trailer or van (Home Depot is much faster)

Great people at the desk. Horribly slow computer systems created a huge lineup in the showroom and made everyone very frustrated. Time to invest in new IT infrastructure to speed up servicing clients.

This location was exactly what a service provider should be and save the day for us. My first reservation # 98293688 was a disaster. At 9 pm, the night before my reserved, guaranteed, confirmed (allegedly) reservation, I received a call from a young man that was very un-knowledgable about your products, told me my covered trailer was not available and that I could have an open trailer which wouldn't work. He also told me that there was nothing available in all of the GTA. This was not acceptable. I was provided with a customer service number and after a very stressful night scrambling to find a covered 5x8 trailer, I was directed to the Woody Rd, Oakville location, 5 minutes from the Winston Churchill location, where there were 2 available and was able to book with them praying that it would actually be there in the morning as I had lost my trusts with U-Haul.

I had a 2nd. floor rental and the Elevator was out of order on several occasions was not working, also controls poorly programmed. IE. If another renter took it up to 2nd floor. Not operable from Gnd.
