Pick-up Date: June 22, 2022 9amLocation:Uhaul of Old Town Yuma (Yuma, AZ)1402 S 3rdAveYuma, AZ928-782-5111**Rep to call by 6pm On Tues, June 21stto schedule available time, etc.on June 22, 9am.**We stopped by Tues night at 6:45pm just to check on our truck&trailer pick-up for Wed morning.We spoke with Jacob Angulo, who said there was no truck or trailer available, and the Scheduler should have called us. We agreed! He was stumped and had no idea what to do.I called a Uhaul number and spoke with a rep from PHX who agreed the Scheduler should have called us. At this point, the stress is setting in as we have a moving crew lined up for 9am Wed am. I just flew into AZ from FL to make this happen. She offered me a truck in PHX, 3-1/2 hrs about of the way, no thanks. She gave me a number to call at 7am Wed morning. Wed am-I called the Scheduler number and was told they found a truck due back to our pick-up point around 9am. Still no word on a trailer. I later was told we could drive to Wicksburg, 5 hours north (out of the way) which I refused.We drove to the pick-up point at 9am and signed for the truck. We were told that a trailer was coming and would be here, soon. When the truck was ready, we actually saw the trailer and were told its not ready. I asked if we could come back for it in 2 hours since we have a crew waiting to load the truck. They said, â€œNo problem, we'll hold it for you!â€ We thanked them and left to load the truck.We returned 2 hours later and guess what? The trailer was gone! When the employees saw us drive back in, they all turned and disappeared! One walked up and said, â€œSorry, we were told to give it to someone else!â€ I was steamed! Nothing left to do. The employees could care less.We were left on our own. This is a perfect example of how NOT to treat a paying customer, driving 2500 miles. Our only choice was to drive the truck and the car until I could locate an auto-transporter. While driving in a loud truck, I called the Scheduler back to find a trailer. There were none in AZ without us driving hours out of the way! Then I was transferred to New Mexico. Gratefully, Emily helped me and located one in Deming, NM, which wouldn't be available until the next morning! Even though we planned to drive to Las Cruces, NM, we stopped early in order to pick-up the trailer at8am. We did just that. We stopped at:U-Haul2001 Columbus Rd.Deming, NM, They hooked us up, and we loaded the car. Good to go. We turned the truck & trailer in 3 days early (approx. 2500 miles)Ft Myers, FL.In closing. This is really badand unacceptable treatment. I understand the moving industry is over-burdened, but the customer shouldn't have to do the logistics in order to make their move smooth. What is the sense of making a reservation 60 days in advance if the equipment is not available? Where was the Scheduler? We also shouldn't be left high and dry by a staff that couldn't care less. My sister-in-law who drove her car 8 hours the first day spent $65 in fuel plus wear and tear. This should have never happened.Employee/staff attitudes in Old Town Yuma U-Haul needs improved.Terri M.

Damian Enriquez made my experience so easy. Moving is already hard and stressful. The day prior i had a bad experience, so I had already felt uneasy and stressed. He was very professional and made the entire process so easy. If I ever need to rent a truck I would skip over everyone else to work directly with him. I had filled out everything that was needed in the app...including pictures of my license, etc. Got there to pick up the truck and they had to go through it all again! Why? The little terminal for me to acknowledge things, etc. was not working. They guy says, "yeah, it's been locking up all day". SO STOP USING IT!!! This is not rocket science. So because I couldn't select the coverage, the whole contract had to be re-done. What a mess. Please send them some computer equipment that works!Thomas F.
The vehicle was clean on the inside, quite dirty on the outside at pickup. The drivers side window didn't seal right and there was quite a noisy ride. I had some trouble doing the self check in perhaps due to being my first time so I am sure i had something to do with the difficulty I experienced. The employees were kind and helpful but there were quite a few issues logging in through their system. A faulty card reader unable to sign my name on screen lost probably 10 minutes trying to figure it out. The employees made and otherwise clunky process getting signed in and on the road much more tolerableJamin W.

I would recommend Y&N The workers are great if they had more help. They were over whelmed as a team. Our weather is way to hot for them be short on staff. The regional boss should take note and visit to help them get organized. No one had the I love to work at Uhual look but the young man that took in the vehicles. Great attitude! But for how long before he quit for being over worked. I will come back again because Uhual is best for me.Eleanor S.

I had an auto transport that was given to me with a low tire. It was aired up after I pointed it out, but continued to lose air pressure throughout my trip. This trailer should not have been rented out as it could have resulted in a blowout if the renter did not notice the pressure issue.Aaron L.

Booked a truck over a month in advance for a cross country move . When picking it up the check engine light was on , Guy at the counter basically shrugged his shoulders and said there wasn't anything he could do and he didn't have. Yard man was a jersey. He told ys we were in the,wrong place. Told us we owed $5 000 in overages. He didn't "think" about what he,was saying. Manager said he transposed his #' s on checking, but that is no excuse for his behavior. Manager was awesome.Rhelda T.

I made my reservations a week and a half early the guy guaranteed me I would have the trailer I needed two days before I was to pick up they didn't have it they finally found a motorcycle trailer for me which was not ideal but it was my only option why make a reservation if what is promised can't be delivered?Bonnie C.

Our service was great at the front desk when we went to pick up the uhaul. Upon taking it back we got the same employee to help us again! He was great!! Only bad thing was when we brought the vehicle back the return line was very long, my boyfriend asked employee Jacob what he needed to do, so Jacob said just park it over there. We walked inside and then when they radioed Jacob to ask if they were working on the rerun he has no they just left it in the street. He was not professional at at all even after we had asked him what did we need to do to rerun the vehicle. Everyone else la service was outstanding!! Briana C.

The best thing that uhaul can do is to make sure that equipment is available at the location agreed. I was moved around to three different locations, after making my reservation a month in advanced. If equipment will not be available then uhaul should reach out sooner than 2 days prior to your reservation. Over all uhaul is a business in which I will not be returning. There is no guarantee that you will have your equipment.Juan G.

Bad customer service, Employees with no experience, it took me around one hour to rent a dolly at this location, Employees always playing around talking with bad words and not taking job seriously, I have rent two times in this place in the past month and I'm not feeling comfortable, I never like to give bad reviews but this time it was to much, I think people in charge of this place needs to know that they will lose customers acting by employees acting this way in work please, Thank you,DANIEL C.

Was able to rent truck without a reservation. So that was good. Turning vehicle in was ok. BUT when to get refunded for miles NOT used, I was CHARGED for something I didn't use nor request or even have supplied on truck! Said "6 furniture pads" "qty rented 6" quality returned 6" which didn't use, see, ask for! $5 added on receipt. Didn't notice til after I left. Because the man checking me out was telling me about issues that actually did pertain to transaction. Like my refund amount. Soo aggravation. Not cool! 5 isn't alot, but if its done to everyone, that adds up. Pretty slick and sneaky if you ask me. Haven't had time to actually return back to the facility to complain.Lucinda C.

The people are very nice, However if I were to recommend the UBOX to anyone I would tell them to not use your online system or phone but go to a store and deal directly with the person there. The phone person had me picking up the box a 3 hour drive from where I lived! And the delivery on the end I got the schedule call and it said the delivery would be Sunday afternoon 1-4. At 7 am I got a call from the driver she was 7 minutes out.Marvin R.

I rented a container and was told when I did that they would bring it to me at my new place . I moved from Michigan to Yuma and I was told by them it would be here at my new place when I tried to schedule it things changed and I had to unload and shuttle my stuff I am very unhappy with that. The guys at unsullied were friendly and I don't believe felt any better about it then I but it was all I could have done . Don't promise what you can't do .Quince J.
