the information on your website is incorrect. the trailer showed a certain size, when I showed to get it, the ramp is smaller and would not work. I had to rent a different trailer and build my own ramps. Very disappointed in UHaul

I arrived on Thursday afternoon to return the truck and trailer. The staff was very busy with all the equipment returns and the purchases inside the store. I would say the business was very under staffed. My first encounter with the staff was not very pleasant nor very professional. The gentleman kept walk as I was asking him what I needed to do to return the equipment and was almost pissed off that I was there. I waited patiently for my turn. Once the employee came to me his was again pissed off because the inside on the truck was not cleaned. I told him the truck cab was not that clean when I pricked it up. He went on and on about how I should have refused the truck and just went on bitching and complaining . The experience was bad and I will not ever used this location again.

This is the second time I have used this location. Rented a truck before and a small enclosed trailer this time. Trailer was in good shape and had good tires. Something to always check. Anyway, both experiences were fast and easy. Thanks for your excellent service

I was told I needed to put gas right away as I arrived to the gas station I noticed the gas cap was broken. I put 70 dollars in gas and the gas gage didn’t move so there was an issue with that also. At pick up the employee didn’t change the record of the gas marker I’m the computer system. They had it as it had a quarter tank when it marked empty. When I dropped off the truck the employee insisted that I needed to leave the truck with a quarter tank when the gas gage didn’t work. Terrible experience.

Reservation was confirmed the night before, when I showed up the one way trailer was not available. Because of this I had to incur an addition 250 miles and $82 worth of gas in order to bring the trailer back. I was promised the $50 reservation guarantee credit and yet that was not received. This is an unacceptable business practice from this location.

Take the uhaul name and contract from this storage facility. The owner of facility is rude, argumentative, lacks the compassion and understanding of disabled people and their abilities of what they can do. What we reserved turned out to be not what the had. He wanted us to climb a latter on wheels to load all our furniture in a unit that was, yes ground floor , but in reality it was on first floor but about another unit just below 2nd floor. The owners rude and irritating response and solution to my problem was a unit on the 2nd flloor, that required us to almost crawl under a beam to get in the aisle were a bigger storage unit was at $30 more per month. He was unwilling to work with us at all because we had been givenn the 1st month free, by uhaul for reservation made on line. This owner doesnt desereve to be a owner of a facility with Association with the uhaul name, or any other place for that matter..This whole situation at 831 e holt blvd ontario ca 91761 was a flat out joke.

I have rented here at this location Holt and Campus in Ontario for years, I have never had any issues up untill this past month, It seems there are alot of new young workers not very costumer savvy, or experienced. When I went into the rental office to rent the U-Haul truck it was a hot day and I asked if I could have a cup because the water Machine/Dispenser was out, the young lady at the register said she would get a cup for myself and my daughter in Law the lady at the register then asked another employee if he knew where the the cups were located? He said "No." I finished with the lady at the register minutes later and went outside as she asked me to, and said somone would help me with the rental. I waited in the heat, no one came untill later to assist me with the Truck and still had no cup for water! When the employee brought the truck to me he backed it up out of the parking space it was in, I seen him hit the truck parked next to him with the rear view mirror. When he parked he wanted me to sign paperwork, without completimg a walk around, I said.."wait a minute you just hit the rear view mirror on that other truck and I don't want to get blamed for any dents or scratches, are you going to do a walk around?" he said... "No"...everything is done electronically>' I still have yet to receive the document electronicly. When I returned the truck two days later I owed an extra 80 something dallors, I told them I would pay it cash a week later because I did not want it to be charged on the credit card I left. A week later they did not call me or e-mail me they just charged the credit card which they said they would not do. The employee stated he would send me the bill if I did not pay which abvioulsy did not happen.. Not very happy about this!

Cargo van I rented BE3967T had an issue with the gas tank. I let the employee know, it is does not allow fueling properly. It does not connect correctly with the gas nozzle and it keeps stopping at the pump.

Truck was dirty inside and out and smelled of cigarettes smoke. After check-in, the desk representative handed me the keys and told me to go find X person outside. I had no idea who I was looking for. The person I did find didn’t even inspect the vehicle with me for damage prior to driving away! I have always been walked out to the vehicle by the same person checking me out and inspected the vehicle together. Bringing the vehicle back was no better and one of your representatives came busting in the lobby area yelling about someone getting the equipment for a trailer hitch wrong.

Your computer system that the employees use, needs to be changed and updated. The guy helping us kept having trouble due to the system not saving the information he was inputting. Also the card reader at that station needs to be replaced. It kept freezing for each customer. Your employees need the right and correct working systems to be able to help your customers. The guy that was helping us was very patient and nice, even though he had problems with the computer system and card reader. If you had a better computer system for your employees, they could help your customers quicker and more efficiently. Thank you.

The gentleman that check me in needs to learn how to respond to customers comments not be sarcastic I almost remarked back but there where customers present. I’ve had many years of management and would never let any of my personal speak to any one that way. The only thing I will say that where I picked up the unit was very professional, was very pleased . The only down fall is that the truck had no cruise control and for having bad knees it was very hard to deal with. Thank you James Lazare

Again, I did the 24 seven drop off. The website did not work properly. Very difficult to use. I ended up dropping the keys in the drop key container. I went back the next day to get my receipt and ensure I was billed properly however there were five people in line one gentleman helping the other gentleman said I don’t know how to do that I can’t help you. I ended up leaving without a copy of my receipt. How can you only have one person helping on a Saturday who knew anything. Again very upset regarding the website and then the personnel was Under staffed! My overall experience with this U-Haul rental is way below standard! I would not recommend U-Haul at all!

To make a long story short, I will never come to this location again. I picked up a 6' x 12' Utility Trailer with Ramp & Appliance Dolly on Friday, March 1st around 2:00pm to tow with my husband's 2017 Tacoma. When I first walked in the store where you check in I noticed two employees behind the counter, one busy with another customer and the second on a computer but not occupied with a customer, however, I was not greeted or told someone would assist me soon. Instead, I stood there for a better part of 20 minutes just waiting to be helped. As I waited another customer had come in and was too waiting without any acknowledgment by the staff. When I was finally advised I can come to the counter the gentleman started to check me in, I was advised there was no deposit being requested and that it would be a few minutes until the trailer was ready (which was fine because I sent my husband to get gas since I was standing there un-helped for so long). My husband was back before I was told the trailer was ready so I politely let the staff know we were waiting. We were advised to pull up to the back so the trailer could be hitched. Once we arrived back there the employee advised us the "trailer we were assigned was in the back and he did not want to have to move all the other trailers so he was going to change it to one in the front, same item/ same cost". Then before hooking up the trailer, he said he was going to change the paperwork and would be back, he walked away and did not come back. At this point, we had wanted to do it ourselves and just leave but I was waiting for new paperwork. Some time (5 mins at least) the man who originally checked me in came over to hitch up the trailer, no paperwork in hand and didn't know what I was referring to when I asked for the new contract so he advised me to walk back inside. Once back inside and explaining for a second time why I was asking for paperwork again he advised that since I was changing my contract I would need to now pay a deposit, I advised him it was not my choice to change the trailers that I was told it was needed because an employee didn't want to move the other ones to reach the one in my original contact, he told me that the employee "was just trying to work smart, not hard", WHAT, who tells a customer that?? I payed the deposit cash and was advised they would hold it for 1 week for pick up as I thought I would be returning the items after-hours that night. At this point, I was frustrated and let him know I have never experienced such a hassle while renting from Uhaul (which is often out of Rancho Cucamonga) and that I really needed to get on the road. For the "inconvenience" he advised he would comp my dolly rental which I thanked him for. Now finally, with the new paperwork in hand, I was able to be on my way. This all took 1 HOUR and 20 MINS, is this normal time to get the rental on the road?! It not only was an inconvenience but time delayed us to hit more traffic, less daylight time for mo

There was an issue with our UBox being able to be transported, but they were nice and worked with us to find a different solution so our move was not too delayed.

The facility said that they had an elevator to the upper units,both on website and on the building outside.It doesn't.The manager lied straight to me saying there was 24hr access to the unit.Yes lied.
