Put a QR Code to scan in the truck, for people who are dropping the moving truck off after hours, and mention it at the time of rental pickup. I had to make multiple trips back and forth to the truck and around the truck because the website is at the key drop box and that process should have been easy, with clear interactions, but instead took me 10-15 mins and I left irritated about the lengthy process in the dark in a not so good neighborhood. Just an idea to speed up the process and gain better ratings.

Have employees actually help you check your truck out. They make sure they check you in when you return it. Make sure the inside and outside of the truck is cleaned. Mine had a cord hanging from under it and when I pointed to it the employees completely ignored me. 3 - of them. Lower the mileage price to something affordable. It should not cost 600.00 to rent a wore out truck.

Last time I rent a uhaul and the service was super and that's because the guy tell if I put more gas vs whatever was there he was going to give 30 dollars back so I did and he did give a 20 dollars off and this time I did the same and he did not give me anything

Inside walls of storage units are made of 1/2" drywall which in some places had come loose allowing someone to reach into the unit next door. If you wanted to you could simply push through the wall. Not at all secure!

We were suppose to receive a truck with a half a tank's worth of gas. When we received the truck, the gas tank was completely empty. The truck wouldn't even start. The Uhaul employee had to manually pour a gas can's worth of gas just to get the truck to start. We filled the tank with $100 worth of gas to proceed with our move. When I requested to be credited for the $100, I was denied a full refund, since I didn't have a picture of the gas gauge. The manager mentioned that they've had problems with gas being siphoned from the trucks. This is a problem that Uhaul needs to deal with internally, and since they're aware of the problem they should be more diligent and proactive in making sure their trucks are ready to be driven and the gas gauge in their system matches the gas gauge in the truck before the keys are handed to the customer. Moving is exhausting and stressful, yet Uhaul also expects the customer to make sure their trucks are operational. I paid the rental fee plus miles drives, plus gased up Uhaul's truck with $100 worth of gas out of pocket. A $100 extra expense is not something I can afford, and even if I could, why should I be gassing up Uhaul's truck for free. I feel robbed and swindled. Horrible experience. Uhaul should be ashamed the level of service they're providing.

The van had not be washed, the guy said that they have to clean before use but it didn't seem that clean to me. The cost for a van for a couple hours was way more then I thought it would be. When just needing a van to move something cost that much it isn't really worth it.

So, 2 hours prior to pickup we get an email to change locations, why two hours prior? 2nd the trailer wires were cut, no fault of the employees but when my wife was there, one guy helping, 3 guys walking around not doing a damn thing, she asked for more help and they didn't do anything; this uhaul location needs new management and more staff on weekends, I've been to a lot of uhauls and this place is terrible for customer service

I rented a trailer for 24 hours. I returned the trailer in 24 hours and they didn't check it in like they said they did. I had to unhook the trailer myself because their customer service kept saying a person was coming to help and after waiting for 30 minutes, I just did it myself. I went back in to the office to verify there would be no hidden or additional charges. Yet they didn't do their job and standing outside smoking seems to be more important. If you call the facility you get redirected to the customer service line off site and they're no help either. I was informed I would receive a call back from the GM and to keep calling the facility to speak with him. Never received a call back. I have had great experiences with uhaul in the past, but I won't go back to the ontario location again and I will refer friends to avoid it.

What I would like to see improved is the sign out procedure for the dolly. The customer should know that to get a rented dolly he or she must pickup from the desk if signing in online. I was not aware of this step when picking up from my location.

we asked for a trailer with a lift gate we got one that did not have a lift gate and we did not notice because your representative hooked it up to the truck when we got to our location we had many heavy items that we had to take up over the lip of the back of the trailer The trailer was full of small rocks big rocks all kinds of rocks that scratched the s*** out of our stuff . They were also no furniture movers at your location You had nothing to rent only to buy for $30. Wow guys step it up.

Gas cap was missing, they told me gas was above 3/4 when I used the truck it was below 3/4. I put gas to 7/8 of the tank and they said I'll get credit for it but didn't see it on the final bill

The employees were rude and un helpful. We were told things and later they said they never told us such things. The trailer we used worked perfectly however all of the staff members here are super unprofessional. As soon as I walked in they were rude to me and being smart asses. Every time I asked a question they rolled their eyes and made it seem like such an inconvenience. The booking experience was easy. I would not return just due to the employees.

Truck had no gas and would not start. Passenger front signal light was broken. They did have the appliance dolly I reserved two weeks earlier. They forgot to give me and bill me for the mattress covers I reserved. I luckily remembered after I had to wait for them to put enough gas to start the truck. I was there for an hour and 10 minutes and I was the first peron there at 6:50am. The employees opened the door at 7:10am

My only complaint is that the car dolly I was given lacked lubrication of the ratcheting mechanism. I had to spray it with some wd40 to get the ratchet to operate smoothly. It also would have been nice if the attendant hooking up the car dolly to my truck had ran me through a quick course on how to use it instead of pointing to the instruction sticker on the dolly fender.

I walked by a group of employees smoking and walked into an empty office. After standing there for 5 mins, I went out and asked if there was a person in the office, the group broke up and somebody walked in to help me. After finishing in office I walked back to where the trailers were and no employee out there was wearing a mask. The guy who hooked up by trailer wore no mask the entire time he helped me, I dont think he even had one. When I returned the trailer, I was walking to office past another group of employees smoking with no mask and one asked if I was dropping off to which I said yes. The employee said they would help me by my truck no need to go in office. I went to my truck and waited but apparently the employee never told no one I was waiting back there. After about 5 mins someone else noticed me and came to help me. I noticed an employee in a customers car driving it with no mask or gloves after hitch installation, did not clean it after. This location was my go to but it was not a pleasant experience this time around. Employees seem to just sit around and smoke most of the day and if they were not in office they are not wearing mask. Please do something about this unsafe environment

Just a little heartbroken that I couldn't get my van this time. I guess out of state residents can't rent the van. Lol, but I did great in the box truck. I was wondering if next time if I could pay a garbage fee for cardboard waste. But that's all I could think of. I love u-haul.

The manager at this location was very helpful and a very nice person who took time to serve and help customers with respect. Re storages: Cost was high, and indoor units tend to be smaller and difficult to load and unload.
