Place opened up at 9am, it employees opened the door at 9:10am as they were running late. 6 people already in line when I got there at 8:50am. Unorganized. When I returned later that day to drop off the vehicle, there were about 5 guys just standing around the desks- not one person acknowledged me as I walked in on them discussing how they all missed football.

I like the phone check in and out!
When I arrived for my reservation, there were two individuals working the counter. One (the manager) was assisting a guest and the other was just standing at the computer. I was waiting in line for more than 5 minutes before he acknowledged me. And this was because the manager said something to him. When I got to the register, I was told their system was down so it would take a while to get my contract ready. Though I was on a strict time crunch, I couldn't blame the staff as this was out of their control. The process was a bit awkward as I waited for 10 minutes with no update on the status or small talk. The representative and the manager began jokingly talking about another staff member in the break room using the "F word". Seriously. Multiple uses of profanity directly in front of me. Mind you, no conversation was directed at me unless I asked for the status. Finally, 20 minutes later I was promoted for my credit card. When I swiped it, I was told I could not be given keys due to a prior rental. I was so confused. He handed me a print out and directed me to call the number on the page to get it sorted without any further assistance. I immediately called the service number to find out the hold on my account was a mistake and the gentleman on the phone fixed the issue but told me to wait about 5 minutes to update. I walked back over to the terminal to find the person assisting me gone... The manager was there but was assisting customers with inquiries. My return to line not only went unacknowledged, but the manager did not call for anyone to come back to assist me. Mind you, I needed to take the van an hour away to pick up furniture and only had a 30 minute window to do so. I waited for aprox. 15 minutes until someone came to the register. It was a new gentleman who let me know he had just come back from lunch. He was kind (forget his name unfortunately). He got everything set up for me in about 15 minutes. I ended up missing my pickup window for the furniture and had to pay an additional fee to hold onto it for extended time. Normally I would not blame missing my pickup window on U-haul but because more than 20 minutes were wasted due to not being acknowledged, I couldn't help but to be frustrated as I missed the pickup time by 15 minutes. The system going down is understandable but poor service is not.
The truck I picked up had used masks left on the floor (it could have been covid infected), dog hair everywhere (floors & seats), peanuts and food on floor. Inside of truck was dirty and the trunk was dusty.
Pick up location was good but the truck was not clean. Dusty and needed a car wash. Overall happy with the experience however.
The young man who helped me hook up the trailer was the same one who helped unhook it at return time. He was very skilled and knowledgeable....quick and friendly too. Thank you. We've used you before and will again!
Staff were nice but a particular employee was misinformed about hitches? Also, 2 motorcycle trailers were filthy (cat feces in 1 and motor oil throughout in the other) and I was told when I asked the employee if they clean the trailers? He said, "no". Astonishing!ðŸ¤·
The staff was excellent and Tony Arreola was very personable, professional and polite. Will do business again in the future.

Arrived at location to drop off vehicle and nobody was inside to help me, literally 10 minutes later after a line was building up an employee walked in all mad and asked "what do you need". Extremely unprofessional and rude, should have started off apologizing for the long wait and greeting with a hello. I do not know the name of the worker, but a mexican man in his 20s who should be fired.

Everything went well except the location change 3 times and the last one I wasn't told until I got to the u-haul to pickup the trailor.
Learn how to read a receipt and know your policies. I picked up vehicle and it didn't have my requested dolly. Spoke to csr rep and she informed me at drop off will take off charge. That was fine. Overcharged me by 40+ dollars after I specifically asked if dolly is a one time charge or a daily charge. The gentleman told me daily even after I insist he check and. Loses rental only refunding me one day instead of 7 when I never had a dolly. For in town rentals you guys charge daily let all staff know this so they can refund accordingly when they forget a customers equipment.
1st time I've rented a vehicle from this location that was not clean outside or in the back. The gas recorded was inaccurate, and I immediately called Customer Service, followed instructions. The van was in dire need of front end maintenance. It was such a short ride to first location, I didn't experience any problem till van was full & on the freeway! The performance did not improve once it was empty. I always come to this location, the staff is always pleasant, very attentive, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I'm confident this vehicle will not be used again before the necessary maintenance is done on it.
I think the management and the crew needs more training for professionalism and customer service and store operations and maintenance and equipment

I'll tell you that I was disappointed to be honest. We got propane as well and none of your employees wore masks! I asked the gentleman helping me and he said â€œno, not reallyâ€ I asked again and â€œyou guys don't have to wear masks like the rest of us and he said â€œnoâ€ and when I went inside there you have it NONE OF THE GUYS HAD MASKS! Not one including the manager & he was literally eating an I cream with a spoon while helping a customer. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Too that off with when I got my truck I did not feel safe that it had been properly disinfected before I got in. I was very uncomfortable due to your employees lack of caring for others safety! Thanks
Came back to return truck and had to wait 20 minutes for someone to come in from the back. No one inside the store. Luckily the curly haired guy from outside stopped checking ther trucks to come help me and another guy waiting even longer than me. Then the guy Came from ther back and didn't even apologize for making is wait. The guy from the back was wearing a patriots hat.
I completed the reservation and check in online but when I arrived to pick up it was still a very long wait. The staff did not provide good customer service.
