I was told I could return this trailer in Bullhead City AZ. Thou when I went to their location I was told I was unable to return this trailer in AZ. I went to two locations in Bullhead AZ then again in Laughlin NV. I am posting this years later because I remembered I need to do this trip again and now I see that even years ago it was a horrible experience. The people at the Bullhead location and the Laughlin location said they could not help me in any situation. How is this even possible? This is U-Haul correct? I hope you have more training sessions and emphasize that the representatives be more attentive to details!!! Upon arriving at the site the contract was explained, and the rep informed me of the fuel arrangements, and when I went out to the vehicle it was on empty. I went back into office, and advised the rep about the the display indicating it was empty. He asked if I had mot heard his instructions on the fuel process, and I told him I did understand, however the tank was empty and the fuel light was lit. We did not want to leave site for fear of stalling. He then advised us that he would put 5 gallons in the tank, and we could then stop for gas. When he escorted us to the vehicle he realized the vehicle had been tagged with a cut gas line and was assigned to us in error. I can understand the mixup, but once we left the site, and were several miles away we realized he did not give us the utility dolly or the 1/2 dozen moving pads we had reserved. I called in to customer service and spoke to Kenya to advise her of the situation. We did not have time to drive back, and I did not want to be charged for the items. With the COVID pandemic I was disappointed that your employee who checked us in on the return of the vehicle was not wearing a mask. He was also unable to process our check in due to technical issues. We went inside and the representative completed our transaction with no further issues. He indicated to us that the other rep was unfamiliar with the process.

I made a reservation at a uhaul closer to me... night before I received a call stating the truck was not available.... this was the second time this has happened. I had to travel to get a truck.... i was able to get my truck.... but due to theft of batteries.... several customers didnt..... when returning truck there were only two people working ... one inside... one outside.... and this facility is very busy

More staff. Pay attention to reservations and equipment needed to fill those reservations. The website meeds to be real time with availability of equipment. Didnt have what i originally reserved and rented out an appliance dolly i had reserved to a walk in customer right before me. Had to settle with a round trip rental instead of a one way as originally reserved due to urgency of getting my family moved in.

Overall commentary is for Uhaul at the corporate. Your reservation system sucks. Got bounced to 3 different locations for one reservation. Got so many notifications didn't know where to go. Just give one update the day before rental.

The manager at this location was very helpful and a very nice person who took time to serve and help customers with respect. Re storages: Cost was high, and indoor units tend to be smaller and difficult to load and unload.

Do preventative maintenance on the vehicles, the unit that I used didn't have a good seal at the door I could hear the air from outside with the door shut and window rolled up, fuel gauge didn't move at all when I got fuel on my way to return the equipment.

Place opened up at 9am, it employees opened the door at 9:10am as they were running late. 6 people already in line when I got there at 8:50am. Unorganized. When I returned later that day to drop off the vehicle, there were about 5 guys just standing around the desks- not one person acknowledged me as I walked in on them discussing how they all missed football.

When I arrived for my reservation, there were two individuals working the counter. One (the manager) was assisting a guest and the other was just standing at the computer. I was waiting in line for more than 5 minutes before he acknowledged me. And this was because the manager said something to him. When I got to the register, I was told their system was down so it would take a while to get my contract ready. Though I was on a strict time crunch, I couldn't blame the staff as this was out of their control. The process was a bit awkward as I waited for 10 minutes with no update on the status or small talk. The representative and the manager began jokingly talking about another staff member in the break room using the "F word". Seriously. Multiple uses of profanity directly in front of me. Mind you, no conversation was directed at me unless I asked for the status. Finally, 20 minutes later I was promoted for my credit card. When I swiped it, I was told I could not be given keys due to a prior rental. I was so confused. He handed me a print out and directed me to call the number on the page to get it sorted without any further assistance. I immediately called the service number to find out the hold on my account was a mistake and the gentleman on the phone fixed the issue but told me to wait about 5 minutes to update. I walked back over to the terminal to find the person assisting me gone... The manager was there but was assisting customers with inquiries. My return to line not only went unacknowledged, but the manager did not call for anyone to come back to assist me. Mind you, I needed to take the van an hour away to pick up furniture and only had a 30 minute window to do so. I waited for aprox. 15 minutes until someone came to the register. It was a new gentleman who let me know he had just come back from lunch. He was kind (forget his name unfortunately). He got everything set up for me in about 15 minutes. I ended up missing my pickup window for the furniture and had to pay an additional fee to hold onto it for extended time. Normally I would not blame missing my pickup window on U-haul but because more than 20 minutes were wasted due to not being acknowledged, I couldn't help but to be frustrated as I missed the pickup time by 15 minutes. The system going down is understandable but poor service is not.

The truck I picked up had used masks left on the floor (it could have been covid infected), dog hair everywhere (floors & seats), peanuts and food on floor. Inside of truck was dirty and the trunk was dusty.

Staff were nice but a particular employee was misinformed about hitches? Also, 2 motorcycle trailers were filthy (cat feces in 1 and motor oil throughout in the other) and I was told when I asked the employee if they clean the trailers? He said, "no". Astonishing!🤷

Arrived at location to drop off vehicle and nobody was inside to help me, literally 10 minutes later after a line was building up an employee walked in all mad and asked "what do you need". Extremely unprofessional and rude, should have started off apologizing for the long wait and greeting with a hello. I do not know the name of the worker, but a mexican man in his 20s who should be fired.

Everything went well except the location change 3 times and the last one I wasn't told until I got to the u-haul to pickup the trailor.

Learn how to read a receipt and know your policies. I picked up vehicle and it didn't have my requested dolly. Spoke to csr rep and she informed me at drop off will take off charge. That was fine. Overcharged me by 40+ dollars after I specifically asked if dolly is a one time charge or a daily charge. The gentleman told me daily even after I insist he check and. Loses rental only refunding me one day instead of 7 when I never had a dolly. For in town rentals you guys charge daily let all staff know this so they can refund accordingly when they forget a customers equipment.

1st time I've rented a vehicle from this location that was not clean outside or in the back. The gas recorded was inaccurate, and I immediately called Customer Service, followed instructions. The van was in dire need of front end maintenance. It was such a short ride to first location, I didn't experience any problem till van was full & on the freeway! The performance did not improve once it was empty. I always come to this location, the staff is always pleasant, very attentive, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I'm confident this vehicle will not be used again before the necessary maintenance is done on it.

I'll tell you that I was disappointed to be honest. We got propane as well and none of your employees wore masks! I asked the gentleman helping me and he said “no, not really” I asked again and “you guys don't have to wear masks like the rest of us and he said “no” and when I went inside there you have it NONE OF THE GUYS HAD MASKS! Not one including the manager & he was literally eating an I cream with a spoon while helping a customer. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Too that off with when I got my truck I did not feel safe that it had been properly disinfected before I got in. I was very uncomfortable due to your employees lack of caring for others safety! Thanks

Luckily the curly haired guy from outside stopped checking ther trucks to come help me and another guy waiting even longer than me. Then the guy Came from ther back and didn't even apologize for making is wait. The guy from the back was wearing a patriots hat.

They gave me the wrong truck, in the middle of my drive I was asked to return the truck because it was meant to be a one way rental. They also have me the truck with no fuel. The customer service was horrible.

An appliance dolly that was reserved was not available, the reason given was simply, "we don't have it". Because I needed one to move an appliance specifically I had to buy one from a home center. The gas tank, I was told, was less than a quarter tank. It was actually less than an eigth so my very first stop, before even starting my project was to get fuel, something that someone at the center should have done. When I protested this I was given the reason that "our gas gets siphoned". I replied that an easy remedy would be locking gas caps I was told that I should complain to corporate, because, as I was told "they don't listen to us". Add on the fact that 2 of the guys weren't wearing masks while helping customers, I'd say this location has a very real problem with customer service.

Online pickup/drop off system is a mess. This location was fine, but the mobile process needs work. Mileage didn't add up and I had another truck earlier that morning that wasn't there.

After getting the keys for my truck, I saw at least 4 men sitting in the garage area. I asked where I could find my truck and the guy pointed to 6 trucks and said, “Over there”. Very poor customer service. When I hit home, the truck was FILTHY and they didn't bother to clean the cab. I guess they don't care about the pandemic! My experience was terrible and I was still charged for the truck.

Over all went well. I want to make Special note of your new employee who went over and above service when the other counter person just refused. His name I believe is a Raul Lopez- After a labor filled day of moving, rushing 2 return truck @ 5pm, we arrived 5 min late. Doors still open, cust I n store, counter clerk refused 2 ck us in. Raul on lot, took care of us and checked in with truck with my husband. Thank you Raul, we appreciate assistance when most needed😁

They tried to charge me for an extra month after I moved out five days early. Actual move out was July 10, 2020... The charge was July 15... I don't think it was intentional, they apparently did not check the unit.
