The counters are always understaffed and there are long lineups of people waiting to be served. I have to budget a half hour wait when I rent a truck and honestly, I would prefer to pay a bit more somewhere else to be in and out quickly.

Get all vehicles to be monitored in km if in Canada. Customer Service corrected the problem but it was confusing when I was told my distance in miles which was in correct.

Unprofessional stuff. Ruined my move into a new home. Picked up truck at 6:30pm explained I'm going to furniture store to get sofa and I'm coming back to get my stuff from the storage and I specifically asked if I'm ok to access the storage after 7pm closing time and I was told that's fine. On my big surprise I couldn't access the storage cuz they put a second lock that I didn't have a key for. Had to turn around and leave plus send home friends that came to help. Next morning I asked manager Ben again why is this happening. His answer was there's no access to the storage after 7pm....the evening before he said opposite. So dear u haul you lost me as a customer forever.

The online reserving and return was great for flexibility. Although, upon arrival I was having difficulty taking pictures of my license. So I decided to go into the store to rent. Upon purchase I was told I could not rent the cargo van without a major visa. Although, I could rent a larger 10' truck and some other larger truck. I couldn't get a smaller lesser value with debit visa. Very strange but was time sensitive and did not own a vehicle large enough for my task. What I estimated online was 70 $ish came up to 125 $for 4 hours , ouch. What ever, I bended as I needed to pick up my couch I found on Facebook. I was then given a contract on how to fill the tank to 3/4 full. If I wasn't busy enough I needed to make sure I had to return a tank to 3/4 not full. I have never seen that. If I filled over 3/4 I would not be compensated for the full tank. This is very tedious and frustrating. The truck had a bag of peanuts still in the truck. Which indicates to me cleaning was not done before I rented the truck. The gas was below the 3/4 mark which meant I knew I would have to swallow that cost too. I took a picture bit again What ever keep going. The truck very noisy the breaks needed a hard push to stop. On a sea of trucks I wasn't given direction where to find my truck. An hour later into my time for reservation and finding my truck gone. Although frustrating it was my solution to doing my task. Uhaul will not be my first task on my next large pick up project, if ever happening. I'm a single mother with limited income. I thought I was getting a cargo van at 70 $dollars tops. I was picking up a couch set for 80 $that suited my one bedroom apartment I can afford in my single income. I sleep in the living room and this couch would allow us normality of a livingroom. The truck cost more than my affordable couch. I felt cornered and expenses just kept adding up in crunch timing. Thank you Uhaul for a life lesson and making life progression harder. My suggestion fill your gas tanks. Figure out a better deposit and payment option. Your online check in was ok and your counter staff did their jobs very well as professional as possible. Your cleaning is doubtable. I am very hesitant if I would be a returning customer.

Very friendly staff. But there is always a lineup. The lines take forever

The mobile check-in took 45 minutes!!! Including the fact that the location finder was not working, the photos took several tries to upload, the vehicle couldn't be found. The 3rd party identity check didn't;'t work because the person's phone ringer was off. I had to end up waiting in line to get help. I had to wait also for someone outside to help as the vehicle was not accessible. I was late for the people helping me move and the whole experience was very frustrating.

Your website does not match the information at the location. They were disconnected. This needs to be remedied since online transactions are far more convenient. The person at the desk wasn't overly helpful. Also the furniture Dolly want available which was a big problem for us and meant heavy items needed to be carried. This was ac huge negative.

Staff had trouble providing the basis information on locker services. It was difficult to be sure that first month was free. Manager was not helpful and not very friendly.

I would like to explain very well ,the truck rent at the customer ,more detail.because after your rent you notice that ,you have another fees in your account.Is not good.i think i was stole me As far as concern, i wouldn't recommend uhaul to my friend.It's my first and my last rent with uhaul. When I picked up the trailer the lot person said “park there in the open area I'll bring the trailer to you”. He then hooked it up, tested the lights and sent me in my way with “when you return the lot person will instruct you where to leave it” I returned and had to stop and go inside to ask where I should unhook. “Park it in the row you got it”. Not a great plan since it was brought to me in the open area. Morning crew was helpful, afternoon guy seemed like I was bothering him!

The store was clean. All the staff were friendly and courtliest. The vehicle was clean, ran well and was sufficient in size to accommodate our needs. The only negative was the lack of onsite parking.

I took the vehicle for three days and someone from U-haul called me after two days and asked if we can return vehicle same day at night as there was a client coming to pick up at 8 am the following day and I accepted and returned vehicle as a courtesy after two days instead of three , however; still got charged for three days and the manager doesn't care in the location as he advised I took it two days and three hours , so the three hours is considered a full day. I find this unfair treatment and instead of appreciating your client that out of courtesy returning vehicle early as requested , you charge him and another client for the same date. Really poor service and unexpected from a company like yours. If this issue is not resolved as soon as possible and a manager contacts me. I will report to the BBB and the media.

Customer service in the store. It took quite a long time to wait for registering. I had used the Web site but it still took 10 minutes. I could not upload my PDF drivers licence and when we got to the store we waited in line for 30 minutes before we got served where it took another 10 minutes.

I think this place is perfect, from the employee down to the truck. I took last minute to book this but after that it was smooth sailing and relieved. Unlike in Gestionnaire immobiliere in St. Joseph gatineau, I waited on hour just to get the truck and the employee did not show up to give the key and I did some follow ups twice in their office in person. Think of it I have a baby waiting in the car. I was outside back and forth to check the office and the baby. Absolutely a hundred percent unprofessional and dissapointing.

The parking lot/drop off was a mess. Cars and trucks parked haphazardly everywhere. Almost impossible to navigate. At one point I was completely blocked in and couldn't exit the lot in the truck. Service inside was incredibly slow. I waited in line for 20-30mins just to talk to an agent. Not impressed by the cleanliness of the truck. They did a cursory sweep/mop but it was still pretty unclean. The brakes on the truck were sluggish.

I was waiting here for 2 hours to get the truck. besides losing my time and other reservations, they told me that I have to return the truck on time. I rented the truck for four hours and I lost two hours already. It is completely absurd and unprofessional. I had a very bad experience that day, and I never go there again nor recommend this place. Their general answer to any complaint is that we can't do anything. If you cant, just book the amount you can handle. 9/29/2021

Your self serve app locked me out so i had to wait in line for 55 min. The manager on duty could not expalin why the atrendant outside said it was too completed to help. It was the last day of the month and only 1 person at the counter between 9am and 930. On the busiest daybof the month doea not make sense. Only 2 at the other times 8 am to 930 . I reserved 12 packing blankets with my reservation but when i got there the attendant says or sorry there are non left ...again if i book them why are they not reserved . the back of truck was not swept out full of dirt...the gas sheet said 1/4 but it was only 6 $less than that it was .review the mileage and my return. Terrible experience that cost me more time and almost jeopardized my move ...i will be writing a full google review to share my experei ce. I am also guessing there will be no formal follow up to this review as well? .

Faster service. Line stretched out the door and I had over 45 min wait to collect my rental. Some renters kept coming back in and cutting the line as the rentals they were assigned were last in a row of vehicles.

Customer service was terrible. Especially the manager(Ben)'s attitude was rude to deal with difficult situation with me. They lost the key for a car that I reserved, so I had to wait to get another car for an hour. On moving day, taking one hour to wait for another car is very waste of time. Nobody did not apologize to us to wait for their mistakes. I am not going to use this store again.

Terrible office and access hours, could not move in the first day I arrived because they close at 7pm not allowing anyone who works a job to get there in time. I arrived at 630pm and was told there was not enough time to unload before closing, so I had to put an additional 30Km on the rental truck to come back the following day. When I did check in on the 2nd attempt I was forced to buy a lock from U-Haul any way to get more money I guess,

The staff at the desk made fun of three customers (as they interacted with them at the desk, he was verbally just rude and it was absolutely unbelievable. He tried this with me as I went to the counter and I told him clearly that wasn't going to happen. Was a terrible customer experience

We did not move into the facility and found storage elsewhere. The staff member at the desk was the most horrific example of "customer service " I have ever seen. He was mocking other customers while I was in line waiting, he was rude, he was just generally the worst example of retail interaction we have ever seen. We cancelled everything and left.
