When contacted Uhaul I was told by representative that an appliance dolly was available at Harper Towing in Paducah. I drove there and was told they have never had dollies, boxes and such. I fou d one on Irvin Cobb Drive, used it and returned same day.

Leticia A.I got charged an additional day for being 1,5 hours over the rental time. This was my misunderstanding because I rented the truck an additional day, but was unaware that time extension was based off the original rental time, and not the time I rented the truck for an additional day. I understand the rules, but getting charged an additional day for 1,5 hours over will be enough of an unnecessary expense that I will take my business elsewhere next time. There are two other competitors if not more in this city. It may seem this is standard practice at all moving truck rentals, but paying for another day when I won't be utilizing the truck is not good business, and overall will cost Uhaul my business in the future. Nothing personal, the franchise owner, employees and equipment were all great, but spending more money than I needed to, and when I don't need the truck leaves a bad taste in my mouth. A little flexibility with the return time, for example a 2-hr grace period around the turn in time would help retain business.

JULIE B.Rented pickup truck. Prior rentals have been acceptably clean, this truck was dirty inside and out. Sticky steering wheel, and windshield was hard to see thru from dirt/smoke/dust on inside. I cleaned the windshield, seat, and steering wheel. In defense of the employees, they started cleaning it immediately upon it's return.

Bryan H.Customer service they were horrible they was rude. I'll try to rent the truck one more day and the woman lied to me and said they ran my card and it denied. I called my bank and my card was never ran and the woman told me to bring the truck back up I even went and put money on a different card and she said it declined that card and that was a lie. She never ran any of the cards and all my stuff is sitting in the yard now. And money is not the issue. It was your company's customer service. The woman was very rude with us saying we owe 50 more dollars when we got the truck the truck was on empty. We brought it back with a half a tank. I just put $45 in the truck when the woman asked me to return the truck so I would like to talk to the supervisor of this company because they was not needing another truck. There was another one just sitting there you need better employees better communication skills I don't understand why they would lie to their customers

RICHARD P.I rented the cargo van to make 1 trip to move some furniture to a consignment store. I drove 6,7 miles from Uhaul to my residence. Then 10,3 miles from my residence to the consignment store. And 3,6 miles from the consignment store back to to Uhaul on Irwin Cobb Dr to return the van. Total miles= 20.6. They charged me for over 50 miles according to what was documented from the odometer when I rented the van and what the odometer read when I returned it. I insisted that a mistake must have been made and the mileage was recorded incorrectly. But I had to pay the extra money as they would not accept any discussion on the matter. I requested the store manager call be but he never did. I'd like to believe it was human error but my instincts tell me otherwise. These people are scammers!! Do not rent here.

tim S.This location (Paducah) is being managed and operated in a very accommodating way. Where we originated our move (Sunnyvale) needs help. They mislead us numerous times with their answers to our questions. We were not informed by them that the Paducah location does not deliver. Therefore we (age 80) were forced to unload our U-boxes. Not good.

The employees are top notch and I hope they are well compensated. As a local business owner, I know how hard it is to find employees who treat a business like it's their own in today's climate. Well done!
Casi S.Truck is old, worn, and beat down. Steering is terrible. Drivers seat is collapsed on one side. Rear suspension feels like it shudders when going iver basic bumps. Box was dirty when received.

Jaime K.I paid for a utility dolly yet did not get one, making the loading/unloading VERY difficult for two disabled persons. The windshield wipers did not work, making it dangerous to drive when raining. Additionally, I was unable to put the bill on the credit card of choice because their system declined my card that has 8 500 in reserve, and attendant would not punch in the numbers from my card instead swiping it multiple times without success. The truck was on 3/4 tank rather than full. One tire on truck low (back driver side). On a positive note, the attendants on site were friendly and personable!

First off I had to wait for the storage place to open to retrieve the key to get into my storage. I thought they opened at 8:00 they open at 7:00 a.m. so I fiddle around until 8:00 a.m. which was already invading my time space. So the hours are not all that great for somebody's in a rush to move things in when they need to and then on top of that have to go to the office to retrieve a key to open my unit. Then I was told that my unit has been closed out put me into a near anxiety attack. I was beside myself as to what could have happened. I had just been in the storage said yesterday putting things in I told the employee. He proceeded to tell me well I don't know what to tell you you're not in here anywhere. As I said my car was loaded I had to go in whenever it was a convenient for the company's time to be open and I was in a huge hurry to get a friend of mine to a very important doctor's appointment. And my car was totally packed full of things so I need to put into the storage which I waited for the office to open. I waited until 8:00 a.m. I'm thinking that's when it opened. Evidently it opens at 7:00 a.m. under what it does not say that online of course I should have called but I really didn't have time. Everything was taken care of eventually although not fast enough for me being so I wasn't a huge rush and it really caused a lot of problems for the rest of my day. I called the 1-800 number that is listed the first time I called I was put on hold for the girl to reach a manager and they hung up on me. By this time I was totally livid and beside myself thinking great I cannot get into my storage I got my car full what am I going to do? So I took a big breath and I called back again and thank goodness I reached Ann and she was wonderful she walked me through it calm me down and told me what was going on pretty much. The hours do kind of suck especially when you're trying to move in and you're so busy packing number one using a card number two and don't have a lot of time on your day and have to revolve it around a schedule of the office other than that it's great and I would probably recommend it to friends.

Changed my pick up location 10 minutes before my scheduled time and sent me to a place the had a 2 hour round trip to get back home. I had to pay for the gas in my gar and the U-Haul truck.

It looks disgusting and appears as if it could create a health hazard from the insulation dust particles it creates in its current state. It gives the appearance of an abandoned building after a fire with the insulation hanging and falling off the ceiling everywhere with no signs of it being swept off the floor. The employees were nice enough but the state of the facility is very alarming, in my opinion.

My paid unit remained double locked for "security reasons" in a well lit, properly locked unit with security surveillance although this policy was never explained to me nor was there any information in my contract that states that my belongings would not remain freelyaccesible ????? After making an extremely costly trip over four hours to find my belongings inaccessible I reported the issue to management, never receiving any response. When I planned to vacate I contacted the location to explain I would be traveling to the area with a rental truck and needed access I was assured that the second lock would be left on the unit "dummied" in the unlocked position until I vacated. After renting the truck and making the trip I again found that I had no access. After contacting after hours customer service I was informed that there was nothing that could be done until the following day, causing me to incur several hundred dollars worth of expenses including additional truck rental, hotel accommodations, gas and incidental expenses as we were not prepared to stay in the area. Both the customer service agent who took my complaint and the customer service representative who was working when I returned the following day assured me I would be contacted promptly by someone who could further investigate the matter. Two weeks later I have not received a call, email NOTHING. Absolutely atrocious customer service, immoral, illegal, and (to be frank) foolish business practices!! NEVER AGAIN will I deal with Uhaul outside of a courtroom!!

He would have four or five customers in there at a time and he was fast and efficient. I've rented from other UHaul facilities and they were nasty and unprofessional. Kyle was always very professional and polite and I would highly recommend this location to anyone !!
