Valerie M | Overall ExperienceAbout the question “was the staff friendly and helpful?”: Friendly, yes. Helpful, not so much. Your employees are only as good as their training. You have 2 men at the counter handling customers, but only one, Deshaun, knew how to use the computer. The other one just sat there unable to assist me until finally Deshaun explained how to log into your website. It took a miserable half hour just to get my reserved storage locker that I had preregistered and set up online. It’s sad that your less knowledgeable employee didn’t receive the proper training to do the job. Maybe it was his first day? I think he could do a lot better if you work with him. I don’t understand how the website indicates access up until 10pm, but there’s no one there after 7pm for a key.

Not that I’ve moved a lot and used hundreds of storage units in my life, but I have been over the past couple of years through work and recently through a couple of moves because of my job and I was thoroughly impressed by the care they offered to my stuff and more importantly the kindness and compassion to me as a person during this timeframe. Outstanding customer service, without question, above and beyond. Thanks to them, and to Uhaul for employing great people as well!
