The 10 foot truck was missing a bead of caulking in the ceiling, it rained during our trip, and our boxes were soaking wet. I have emailed the general manager with photos of the damage to our belongings.

Van was dirty on outside. Blinkers didn't work, and wheel alignment was seriously off. Was forced to change locations and this location had no parking available close by. Had to park 10 minutes away and pay an additional $12. Tank was not full which made it hard to get it back to the exact amount. I was just under and got charged for 2 gallons instead of 1. I will avoid this location like the plague next time I need a van. Bad all around.

Upon collecting the Van that I had reserved, there was a terrible odor in the van and the drivers cab was not clean - from animals. I returned to the service desk and requested another Van as I had a long drive ahead of me and didn't want to deal with the odor. When I got the second van it was also quite dirty and there was writing with white crayon across the windshield / screen. I asked the attendant on duty if he would mind cleaning in and he responded with - "what's your problem Man!, you're been complaining since you got here" I replied calmly that I just wanted a van that was clean without an odor and that I could see clearly through the windscreen. He reluctantly attempted to clean the window but quickly gave up saying I was going to have to 'deal with it' The tire pressure was incorrect on the tires and I had to pull into a service station to have it correctly balanced. I use U-Haul several times a year for my business - and generally the Pasadena location is OK but this experience was terrible. Maybe a work with the attendant on duty in the parking lot - I think his name was Carl. Thank you.

i admit that I did not know that my CA ID (which has my CA driver's license number on it), does not count as a "driver's license", as i learned from the male clerk at the front desk. He explained this when I returned to pick up a truck per my reservation. After learning I could not rent based on the "I.D." and not a "Driver's License", he proceeded to talk to me in a very derogatory way, saying things such as: "You can stand there all day, but you're still not getting your truck." or something to that effect, and continued talking down to me. This occurred on 11/27/22...so it's the male who was at the desk first thing at 9am. He was so disrespectful and because i knew I needed to come back with someone who had a legitimate license, I kept my mouth shut. Yes, I've learned that I now need a "Driver's License" which I thought I had when I went to the DMV to get my CA I.D. But there was no reason for that guy to talk to me the way he did with his ______ attitude! You've lost me as a customer and everyone else who may require a UHaul. I will NOT recommend the Raymond Uhaul location on Raymond. A little lesson on customer service and etiquette could do him some good.

Everything was good and smooth renting the truck , I didn't like that dollys weren't available to rent , I was advise that I can add that at the time of pick up , that isn't the staff on site fault but the company should know customers want to rent from uhaul for being a one stop shop , and not having dolly's available is very inconvenient, I noticed I wasn't the only customer with this issue it was about 3 of us

Service at counter was not particularly friendly. Also, was told fuel gauge was at 1/2 which it wasn't. It was not busy when I was there so don't really understand why they wold have the fuel gauge reading wrong. Is this an attempt to make money off the customer? I drove 10 miles approximately, total, and felt obliged to put in $10 worth of gas.

I called UHAUL direct to schedule ,I explained my move to the associate and she did not advise me to order enough Uboxes, I called customer service 6 times and was given the wrong information, hung on by scheduling 3 times talked to FOX BURKE who was sympathetic but not helpful at all, he started the conversation with " I can not give you a discount ( I have the email ) which angered me even more, didn't I ask for help or a discount, the move was already difficult and stressful UHAUL/UBOX added to the stress and anxiety...I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND UBOX until you guys get your act together!

The staff were rude, dismissive and unhelpful. I was told in advance on the phone that o could leave my car on the lot overnight, during the rental. When I arrived I was told I couldn't. No apologies. I had to drive home 7 miles and rent an Uber. I wasn't shown the vehicle's controls. No one toured the vehicle with me to confirm damages. When I returned the vehicle I was told I had parked it in the wrong place and made to move the van. Then apparently I'd parked it facing the wrong way. The employee refused to check me out until I'd turned it around myself, while he ate his lunch in front of me. I have pictures. I was told to go into the office to check the vehicle in. When I d waited to be seen the woman told me, rudely, that it wasn't her job, and that the original, lunch eating guy had to do it. He was still sitting in the van eating his lunch. He dismissed me with a wave of his hand and told me he'd email a receipt. I wasn't offered a printed confirmation. Worst customer experience I've experienced in a long, long time. I will actively discourage friends and my company from ever using UHaul in the future. The website sells a completely different service. Smiles and helpful, cooperative staff. the man at the counter was crabby and very curt .... it takes no more effort to be kind and helpful than it takes to be a hard nose .... give your people some lessons in customer service with a smile ... also, your computer system said my vehicle wasn't heavy enough to tow a tow dolly .... it is a 3/4 ton van ... very tricky sales maneuver, not good

I'm so frustrated with uhual and how often I have to call to get a bill collected when you do unethical things like charge me for a whole day when you show that I was 16 minutes late but you know I was actually there at 903. It's such a waste of my time and frankly not nice!

I was charged for 2 Dollies that I did not request which was an extra $25. Also, when I checked in, the two gentlemen in the front were sharing about their weekend plans using a ton of profanity and explicit language.

I like the quick drop off, again I have a problem with odometer reading and 1/4 tank of gas. Gas close enough and 1,09 too much on the mileage, I am not going to make a big deal about it . It would be great to have everything just perfect though. Merci.

I was shocked at the horrible level of service I received yesterday at U-Haul. After checking in, I was sent to the maintenance tent for keys. Upon arrival I approached the attendant - Jacob - who was busy watching videos loudly on his phone and never looked up at me. His response "huh?". When I asked again, he grabbed keys and threw them at me mumbling something unintelligible, still watching videos on his phone. When I started the van, the tire pressure was measuring low on 3 of the tires and 0 on one. I went back to the maintenance tent, where Jacob was then sitting in a truck which had recently been returned and was reclining in the driver seat, still watching videos on his phone. I then asked him if he could pull forward, as I had to pull in so that the tires could be filled. He then drove off in the truck and didn't return. Another, more helpful employee, was walking by and when I asked filled the tires. All but one tire registered an acceptable psi, with one still at 0. I inquired and was told it was OK and that the sensor wasn't working. Sure enough, 45 miles into my drive that tire went totally flat on the freeway. I pulled to the emergency lane and was soon approached by a local government tow truck. They were unable to release the tire due to security measures on the equipment, but noticed that the tire in the spare position had a large tear in the sidewall. I then waited TWO HOURS for U-Haul's tow service to have the tire replaced. Then, as I was delayed and driving at night, it became obvious that the inside of the windshield was so dirty, there was a tremendous amount of glare, making it very unsafe to drive. This whole scenario was beyond unacceptable - 1) clearly no one in the Pasadena office had repaired or replaced the tire that had previously gone flat on the van when returned by the previous user, 2) I was given wrong information - the 0 tire pressure output was due to the fact that I was driving on the spare, 3) I waited (as a woman) on the side of the freeway for 2 hours after dark by myself, which felt very unsafe. All of these issues could have been avoided if anyone took the security aspect of their jobs seriously. I am seriously upset and expect to hear back from someone at U-Haul with an explanation of how this is going to be addressed.

One rear tire had to have air added before my departure. I left to fill the empty gas tank. When I left the gas station the other rear tire blew out the side wall. U Haul Road assistance changed the tire, put on the spare. I was told the spare should only be driven 50 miles. Since I was going to travel about 1000 miles with some heave sound equipment. I returned the vehicle and cancelled my reservation.

Originally had a reservation at Glendale on loz feliz location then the trailer was never return. They created a new reservation at pasadena on raymond location to return next day just in case we can't return before store closing. Get to location they entered time for same day return instead. We got charge an extra day for returning after hours because our trip was delayed an hour and could not get back in time before closing. Super upset about the full day charge and how ebetyti g was handled at both locations

The AM yard worker at 7:30am on Wed Oct 12 had NO customer service! He did not even have the courtesy to drive my truck out so I could inspect as it was so close to the other trucks I could not even get in to close the back roller door. Upon return the signs are not that clear and he told me to turn the truck around and position it correctly even though he was doing NOTHING shooting she shit with the other brother

We watched a video on how the hitch would be installed. It was tastefully done and incorporated well into the vehicle chassis. When we arrived to pick up our vehicle, the connector was hanging off the back of the vehicle. It looks messy and cheap.

I made a reservation to pick up a 5x9 utility trailer at the La Habra location on E Lambert. However, I was contacted the day before to tell me my only options for that trailer was Chino or Santa Clarita, both very far out of my way. I settled for a different trailer at the Pasadena location to reduce my excess driving. If U Haul is going to charge 4x the in town rate for a one way trailer, it should be available at the requested location. I ended up leaving town 2,5 hours later than anticipated due to having to go out of my way and wait for the equipment.

The reservation pick up and return went well. I must have misinterpreted what 24 seven reservation meant. I assumed that I could use the app to use the vehicle without having to go in to the office. One location was closed, the other location I had to go to the desk… other than that it was the best U-Haul experience so far.

Everything was great except I couldn't access the loading dock unless a service representative was there and the first time I used it, it wouldn't close so anyone could've walked in and accessed every locker on that floor. That and one of the thresholds was a mess to get over.

This facility compares as better than my only other experience renting a storage facility which was many years ago. The service was efficient. The distance to get to the unit was short and the place was clean. I am super glad about the climate-control.

The staff was incredibly rude. At one point, when I was waiting in line, the cashier was literally yelling at another employee through a radio because she didn't know how to make the computer work. When I went to get checked in to my storage locker, the guy who set it up didn't know how to use the key card system. It took 45 minutes or so. When he was done, he confessed that he had never been in the storage building. Parkin g is a nightmare. When I was finally checked out, an 18 wheeler had blocked the driveway so I couldn't leave. There are many other storage facilities in town. I would choose any of them over this one.

Although the staff was friendly, they didn't have my reserved unit available which required a downgrade in size and was on the second level with no elevator. This required multiple trips up and down with heavy boxes and heavy furniture to a non-air conditioned second level. This was very frustrating and took 3 hours to load the unit where it should have been up to an 1 hour with the reserved unit that was on the first floor.

Shanna is an exceptional customer service person. She handled my issue of a late fee without my asking her to. I was apologizing for not reporting that the unit was empty and that I cost them the ability to rent it sooner. I fully had accepted that I owed them the fee. I'm a senior citizen with knee & back issues. She remembered that I had come in earlier with daughter to return the truck & noticed that was having difficulty walking. The truck return had complications that were resolved and once again Shanna was part of that process along with manager, James Dexter. Merci.

You should inform renters right off the bat that there will be regular increases on the monthly rental fee. This is one of the reasons we left. You should also consider expanding the parking lot. It's too small for a company that offers a lot of services. I witnessed a confrontation between a customer and one of the staff yesterday precisely about this issue. It becomes too hot in the storage facility at times. Consider turning down the thermostat during warm/hot days

I asked for receipt to be email and it has not, and your system was "down" and had to wait 30 minutes to pay for 8 months of storage. Would like rent not continue to raised I have been here since 2013, 6 years is the cut off of storage rent increase if not may find another, and there was a White male worker, no name tag, being very annoying and female Black was also annoyed by him she said something about gas he was working on, he also said "your storage went up another 5 bucks". when general manager came out that guy was gone from office. I would expect UHAUL not to have such employees, mouthing off so much he did nothing just sit around cashier. Not what I want to see, will avoid going in to office.

Space was on second floor without any elevator access. Space had no lighting. Parking is poor, almost no parking adjacent to storage area entrance. For these reasons I cannot recommend this facility.

Wonderful experience with the staff. The wait time in line is a bit long; another person would make the experience even better. There should also be more parking next to the storage units.

Was thrilled that we qualified for one month of storage for free. Was not so thrilled when we found out the storage facility has no freight elevator and we were on the second floor. I mean, seriously?

The manager is extremely rude and does not recognize service animals. All of the other employees are delightful though. But the manager is extremely unpleasant.

I will not use them again. They don't work with you if problems arise it's all about money with them example I had a tote and a few boxes, all empty, that I wanted to throw away they charge $20.

Customer service is embarrassingly bad. There were couple of hidden charges on my credit card that were not explained or mentioned when I made the order. Would not recommend U-Haul to anyone.

I really don't have any complaints. I did not have information on prices to determine if it was competitive. I also do not know whether having to be out of the premises by 5 on a Sunday was reasonable

We moved out on June 30, but they charged us for an extra month (July) because we were on autopay, and they refused to prorate our rent for July. We were not happy with this decision!
