The guys there were very helpful.The female had a attitude problem.she was too busy on the phone with her boyfriend ,kept mentioning how she's aggravated.And when asked a question she was very snobby.If it were up to me she'd be fired immediately so she can work on herself before finding new employment elsewhere.

The Plainville location was near our former home. It is large and has the materials that I need. The problem is that the two times I ordered to pick up a truck at this location, they said they don't have the truck needed, and that I had to go to a farther location to get the truck. Each time I ordered a truck at least a week in advance. While Uhaul has many good things going for it as a company, I feel disappointed because this nearest location was never able to provide the equipment that I needed. The truck received at the last location in Wolcott was not cleaned out. There was even an empty cigarette box on the front seat.

They charged me $420 $150 for smoking in the truck and they said there were No Smoking signs in the truck, But there were NO SGHNS and they harassed me about the issue. I will Never Rent from them again, and I will NOT RECOMMEND them to anyone They DO NOT Accept the Customer's Word But try to suck every penney they can from you.

The car itself was dirty and I got it with less than a quarter tank. I got charged $30 for not returning with a quarter tank left, but it didn't even have that much to start with!

I lost all my belongings because uhaul never informed me of throwing away my things. I called them they said I could get my things the following Monday and when I called they told me my things were thrown out and there was nothing I can do. The staff yelled at me and told me it was my fault they didn't apologize and were extremely rude to me. I cannot replace the items that were in the storage unit and will probably be seeking legal action against the company! Hire new managers and employees at the plainville location they are horrible!

the truck that was rented to me was horrible. tow/hitch button switch would not come off. the steering was horrible keep going into other lane. it was raining so the tires kept sliding. the passenger door would not seal correctly so you heard all the air coming into the cabin. and the back door was hard to open and close. overall the worst truck i have rented from them.

The pickup/dropoff via the app or online is not good. The system kept kicking me out. Made for major lack of convenience.

When I went to drop off the truck I told one of the staff that I had filled up the gas tank to full even though I had received the truck at 3/4. He said I would get refunded the difference. Make sure your staff can answer these questions honestly. I am annoyed that he told me incorrect information.

The mobile checkout was obnoxious. It took forever to fill out the info and then it didn't register so I had to do it twice. Then when it came to getting the key, I ended up having to go inside anyway and talk to people I was trying to avoid in the first place. 9am on a Saturday was insanely busy, as I expected it would be, and tried to avoid in the first place. Getting the truck took almost an hour!

Which I have huge business that uses moving trucks all the time the location in Plainville is the worse in the business uhaul needs to come in and clean house and start fresh there with new employees! The manager is also on drugs daily!

There should be a flat rate for milage. Making a guess as to how much you traveled to move is hard to calculate due to multiple trips.

Excellent truck rental experience. Pick up and drop off was very straightforward and easy. The cargo van was clean and performed well. The rates were reasonable. The instructions for renting the vehicle were complete. Will heartily recommend U-Haul and the Plainville location in particular to friends and family, or anyone in need of renting a moving van or truck. Merci.

The equipment was clean; however, the steering/alignment was way off e.g. to go straight the steering wheel had to be turned almost a half a turn to the right. As result, steering was a bit hard and the ride was also skaky/bumpy on the highway starting around 50mph.

We did have to wait 30 minutes after registering at the store front desk for the office agent to come out and unlock our unit for initial access, but in all fairness, the agent seemed quite busy at the desk with a steady line of people, and probably could have used some help. Otherwise, the experience was good.

Easy to get to. Big lot. Trucks readily available. Big thing for me was that she (the Uhaul rep at the location) walked me through options. We were moving in-state about 40 minutes away. Just went through pricing to see where it made sense to drop it off. It ended up being super convenient. The inside was impeccably clean.

They auction off my stuff without letting me know they finally called my phone a week before the auction and told me they were supposed to be taken the payments for the auction that I still have the same credit card they never sent nothing to let us know and tried to explain to them we had a important death in the family and the guy didn't care they had no sympathy at all fore or my family they messed everything up and blamed it ony family I will not be recommending U-Haul to anyone

The staff where I had the storage unit was excellent, but if you needed to make a call for information or whatever, even if I used the local number it was hard to get the people I needed. I would get diverted and that was very inconvenient and frustrating

I wasn't informed that I needed a fob to enter and exit the storage facility. Door was open, I drove in, found my unit ok, moved my stuff and kept hearing an alarm. It wasn't until my curiosity got the best of me and my wife went into the office and was told about the fob and it's function. Also seeing a rat trap inside the unit gave me reservation if I should even keep this unit past the first month.

EVERYTHING was FIRST-CLASS! Manager Maddie is a gem, and runs a tight, organized ship. She's very friendly, personable, courteous, and knowledgeable, and she makes customer satisfaction her top priority! Bryan demonstrated the gate operations for me, and was very friendly, and helpful. Trisha (Tricia) (sp?) literally SPOT-CLEANED our unit, and also was extremely friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and efficient. I cannot say enough positive things about Plainville, CT UHAUL. Five stars isn't even close to the rating I'd like to give to these dedicated storage solutions professionals!

Never had an issue and the when we emptied the items, there was no sign of bugs or vermin. Much better experience than we had with the other storage place.

The staff inside was not helpful at all and could care less if they were working or not. They had no energy whatsoever and couldn't figure things out on the computer. I was scheduled to have a 10 x 15 unit and it showed up on the computer but they couldn't get it to work. I was in the office for over a half an hour and I still can't figure it out, very disheartening to see the list

THIS PLACE IS THE BEST! The customer service here is phenomenal - not just in this difficult business, but in the entire customer service industry. Chantelle should be the CEO of U-Haul! It is clear that her staff respects her and they all will do just about anything to help their customers get the best deal possible and resolve any issues immediately. They treat everyone like family. U-Haul should be using this facility as the example that all others should strive to be like. I've dealt with several other storage and truck rental facilities - none come close to this one. Moving is one of the most stressful things anyone can go through and U-Haul's mission should be to help reduce this stress. Chantelle and her staff fully understand this and do "whatever it takes" and then some. During this move I dealt with several rude U-Haul employees both on the National U-Haul phone line and at the facility where we dropped off the truck. Again, they should ALL be trained by Chantelle. If they were, U-Haul would rule the industry! While happy to have moved to the next chapter in our lives, I am sad to say goodbye to U-Haul - Pinnacle Rock. However, I will continue to recommend them to all my family and friends in the area. Merci.

Todo bien excepto de que tienen una empleada que deberia supervisarla mucho mejor para que veN lo que ella hace , no se el nombre pero puedo describirla de verdad esa empleada es un bochorno una desilucion como empleada ojo con ella. Used 1 800 to reserve spot for my rv was told I had reservation with confirmed date. However center location informed me they shouldn't have garented start date since they had no spots available. Fortunately one came open two days later. Location manager was very helpful and apologized

As a long term (3 years) user of Pinnacle Rock (Plainville) U-Haul Storage and Rental, I have found the facility, its staff and service to be phenomenal. Never encountered a "problem" which is surprising since my tenure was an extended one. Whether it be with storage or truck rental, everything always went smoothly. Employees were always helpful, friendly and great to deal with. I would like to single out Will Cintas, who had a "one-of-a-kind" philosophy of management and customer service; that should be "bottled and sold" to any company involved in working with the public and providing services similar to yours. Truly an honest, caring, and "Service is #1" type of professional. More importantly, a "good and genuinely fine" person for who he is. The biggest compliment that I can pay to a person is to say: "If I had a business that needed someone with Will's responsibilities, and even more, I would try to hire him away from your company...with a promotion if possible", U-Haul must have realized his worth, as he is now manger for 128 (if memory serves me correctly) "Plainvilles". Justifiably earned and deserved. I suspect that he will move further up in the company as time goes on. I work with Neurodiverse clients, and Mr. Cintas went out of his way to interview and talk with one of my clients who was a mechanic by training and in need of a part-time job. If New Britain and Plainville haden't merged, there is not a doubt in my mind that my client would have been "doing hitches" for Will in Plainville. Consolidation of operations unfortunately eliminated that possibility, (and rightfully so) when the opening was filled by a (transferring) in-house employee from the soon-to-be closed operation. I have nothing but the highest praises and kudos for EVERYTHING about the Plainville operations and its people. Should I ever need a storage unit or truck rental again, I WILL go to Plainville...if it is possible, even if there are other providers closer. If not, I would still choose U-Haul merely based upon my experiences with Pinnacle Rock. I was particularly impressed with how management and staff handled a water "emergency" that resulted when a customer's vehicle caught fire (due to vehicle malfuntion) in the parking area, just adjacent my INDOOR "bin". Sprinklers went off and water sprayed everywhere; so much so, that it had to be "sopped" up from a quite a large area in the vicinity of the fire. My unit was unaffected, in my mind, primarily because of the "pro-active" actions taken by staff to prevent water from flowing into other surrounding areas. Will Cintas, and staff were present when I arrived to check my unit and insurers were already on the premise to help customers check for and guage damages, if indeed there were any; and to file claims, right then and there if any needed to be completed. Plainville and U-Haul have EARNED a "life-time" customer from the former occupant of #1003 ; but more importantly..it has an active ambassador for the facility, its' operations and it's staff. Customer Service is the name of the game...and the GAME IS ON when it comes to Pinnacle Rock, Plainville. My thanks to all at the Plainville facility. In two words..."CONSISTENTLY AWESOME!" I was very distraught I couldn’t get the app to work to return the truck now I’m getting text messages calls and emails of the truck is not returned I drop the key in the return drop box on the side of the garage door the girl said if I didn’t return it using the app which I couldn’t because it wouldn’t let it go through she said it would be $20 fee why am I receiving a phone call saying that I am not return to the truck the truck was parked in the parking lot under the tent where you clean the trucks the truck is there

I tried to bring stuff to my inside unit. Cars parked all over. Can't pass - cars parked on both sides of drive they area. Had to back up and just left. Tried to find cart - no carts left. Very very unorganized.
