At first, there was a problem with the assigned storage unit. It had been taken by someone else by mistake. However, through it all the associates did all they could do to rectify it. I new unit was assigned and now everything is just wonderful

We selected this location to drop off this renewal because it was close to the hotel we were staying at. There was absolutely no parking and was after hours so no personnel were available to help move vehicles around. Ours probably would have fit if someone didn't take up 3 customer spots with a truck and trailer

I had to let my storage go last 10/24 and was told that an auction would be done within 3 months. I had not received another bill since October 24. I got a letter last week stating that I owed 1 811,25 after the auction. I am extremely upset that they would rack up a monthly bill for over a year. Otherwise, the staff was great. When I moved from storage unit J719 to J732 (723?) there was a roach infestation after the move. I found this out when I was trying to get rid of items so that I could rent a smaller unit.

The App is a malfunctioning nightmare!! Add to that the fact that they rarely answer the phone and that makes their customer service nonexistent. The unit we were given also had a door that did not stay down on the ground, so when it rained the water splashed into the dirt in front the of unit spraying through the 2 inch crack at the bottom of the door and all our stuff got sprayed with mud and leaves. I would never rent from this facility again.

This time storing with U-Haul was great! Well-priced, clean, good temperature, and user-friendly! The staff was kind and informed. They helped me change my payment method so easily, which I was worried was going to be very difficult. Fortement recommandé!

The moving van had a flat tire. It was assessed as a slow leak, so it had most likely been there 1-2 weeks, as the tire was only at 36psi. Everyone on the phone and at the location was helpful, but it did set us back over two hours and we had movers waiting. It was easy to miss at pickup, as it's hard to see the tires well when the trucks are parked closely together, but should've been inspected closer and shouldn't have taken 1-2 weeks to be noticed.

I Got Locked out of my Unit on the Day it was Due !!! This has Happened to me Twice !!! One Time they Locked out the Wrong Person and the Second time there was No Excuse !!! I get a 3 Day Grace Period but to Lock me out on the Day it was Due was Ludicrous Especially on Christmas Eve !!! Also $170 Dollars a Month is Outrageous for that Small Unit !!! I Rent 3 Units a Block away that are $160 a Month that are 3 Times Bigger !!! I've Been there for over 10 Years and I have had enough I'm Glad that I finally moved out of there !!!! But to Lock me out on the Day it was Due and on Christmas Eve that was the Last Straw that Broke the Camels Back

This was my first U-Haul rental and I could not have been more satisfied with the experience. My mover ghosted me last minute and had to pick up furniture for my son's new apartment. It was easy to book online. The customer service was so friendly and accommodating. No move private movers. I will always choose U-Haul. Thank you Sydney.

The only reason I can't give 5 stars is because of the layout of the parking lot. I had a 20' truck and had to back up and pull up multiple times to get it into the parking lot. The worst part was the back end of the truck was hanging out in the street blocking traffic while I was trying to maneuver the truck into a spot. The staff was great though and acknowledged that they don't like it either.

The light in the hallway of the storage unit was on a movement sensor at the far end of the hall from my unit so it would always go off and I could not see. The price for the unit kept rising- one year it rose twice within one year. I would not recommend this facility to anyone because costs keep rising. Glad I moved out before the rise in cost this fall.

The wrong container was delivered to our home on the correct day and our container was dropped off at another customers home. They were able to switch them back the following day.

Warrior Movers were great for packing, on time and did a great job with somewhat fragile and awkward furniture. All of it made it to Atlanta without any damage. Delivery was easy in Atlanta. The staff and app user experience was great.

Most of the process was straightforward. However, the U-Haul app was difficult to use during the return process. I took several pictures of every angle requested and it kept getting stuck in the camera app. This could be only an Android app problem, and I'll report it on the app store too.

Well lit drive ways and no sketchy people. My things were dry and safe. No rodents, ever. I had my thing here for 2 years and my experience was flawless.

I brought the wrong keys from a different state and couldn't get into my unit. I paid the fee for them to unlock it for me. The lady working didn't know what she was doing and asked my fiancé and his friends to do it. It took 4 hours and we finally got it off. She was very rude when we asked if she would try to contact someone who knew what they were doing then disappeared. I feel very disrespected and disappointed in the way this uhaul is.

I dropped off the truck after hours, so no one was there. I tried to use the incredibly poor app. The app is kind of like renting a U-Haul to travel across the country only to find that you can't get out of second gear and the nearest U-Haul dealer doesn't have replacement stock and you'll have to do an online chat and three phone calls before someone can help you. Driving the vehicle was pleasant in comparison with contact with U-Haul, the initial rental, the drop off and the interesting employees encountered during the time setting up and using the rental. Thank you for the help, but for my experience, most of U-Haul really missed making this a good experience.

I tried to contact someone about a mistaken truck rental click thinking I could rent in the future, instead it charged me for a rental that was for the present time. I called and sent a message I no one got back to me and I was still charged for the rental even though it was never touched.

There was a problem in that we had reserved a certain truck for 2 days and when going to pick it up found out it had only been reserved for 1 day so we automatically had to upgrade and pay more then we needed to just to have it those 2 days so that was not cool however everything else was good

First, I want to tell you how terrible my experience with the app and the Cougar Blvd location was. I was using the app pickup option, but it would crash on every DL scan. So frustrating! Then the Cougar Blvd location was SO slow. It took me a half hour of waiting in line to finally get someone to help me. (I don't know the clerk's name, but he was in a wheelchair, and I hope he finally got the recipes exchanged with the people he was helping - dude, speed it up!) After waiting all the time, they didn't have the equipment I reserved and sent me to the other location. If they had just let me know, I could have done that much sooner! I tried using the app pickup option and using chat on the app - what a joke. They offloaded me twice and I had to start all over again. They bumped me to another department and then closed the chat again. It was horrible! An hour later, I'm at the State St location, and Sydney was fantastic! She had the hussle and, even though she was by herself (on a Sat morning? C'mon!) she found the correct equipment and got me headed out in minutes. She was fantastic, you need to give her a raise to keep her because she was the only good part of this whole terrible experience.

The employee, I forgot her name was great. But for some reason she was the ONLY one there and was super busy. Hire more people and actually make sure your equipment is ready before people rent it. Also the truck looked clean but had a good amount of spiders in it, and returning the truck froze halfway through so I had to wait on hold for 20 minutes to finish my return

Had a great experience getting the unit and getting items in storage however when it was time to leave the gate wasn't opening. This was very frustrating as there was still time before the facility closed. After multiple attempts to swipe card I called the phone number and had to deal with an automated system. In the process of calling the gate the gate ended up opening somehow.

Pricing is almost deceptive. Be more upfront. Don't make it a maze of a million little add-ons. Also the gas gauge was extremely finicky. I tried to refill to the same amount and the guy still tried to say it was low on fuel. I say I put 8 bucks worth in just now, I think we're good here.

We had set a reservation four months in advance, as I knew that I would be storing my things over the summer. When I had arrived I was informed that this place had allowed someone else to move into my reservation and they would not move them out. We were then only offered a very small storage unit (which wouldn't have fit even half of my things) or one that would be difficult to move out due to family health conditions. This was an extremely frustrating experience, as the unit we had chosen was very specific and with an intended purpose. We had this reservation for quite some time with the intent that we would not run into issues in regard to not having a unit, just to arrive and someone else to have taken the reservation. It was also frustrating as whenever they were looking at another unit to give us, they kept running into issues with people already having reservations. It made it seem as though they could keep track of everyone else's reservations other than the one we had made 4 months ago. Overall this was a very poor experience.

For seven years, I complained that our storage garage door was broken. The door wouldn't close all the way. The open 2 or 3 inches at the bottom let in all kinds of dust dirt water, and debris. Employees kept promising me that they would get it fixed. But it literally took seven years for them to finally fix it. By that time I was moving out to a higher quality storage garage at half the price. That is the main reason that I would not recommend U-Haul to anyone else. Non-responsive service, and too high-priced. Also, no one ever answers the phone at the local office. Literally never. It always rolls over to some kind of a national customer service center but they never have the answers that I need from the local location.

I would give a higher rating except my move in experience was frustrating. I was able to change my move in date however I was not able to access the unit. I ended up needing it two days earlier on a Sunday. The office was closed when I got there. I arrived at 6pm they close at 5pm. Not a problem accept that I had no access to the unit. No access code to get in, nothing. A 24 hour access facility should be that, accessible for 24 hrs. After driving all day from Nevada to Utah, hauling not just a loaded 20' van but towing a trailer as well, I was extremely disappointed and definitely not happy. I would suggest a system of sending the new tenant access codes and unit assignments via email or text. Weekends are when people typically move. When I came back the next day , the staff was very friendly and helpful.

We rented 3 or 4 different units over the last 10 years or so. Most of the units kept most of the dirt out which was great, but our second last unit was terrible. We found leaves, trash and dirt that had blown in, and coated everything in soil and grime.

This uhaul cancelled all vehicle storage at the facility just 5 months after paying for what I'd assumed to be a long term storage spot. I had to go out of my way to come back just to move my vehicle to a new location and they wouldn't refund the extra time remaining on my lease for the month (for which I had another 15 days remaining).

After renting my outside storage from this facility for over 20 years. The facility went drastically down hill with theft, vandalism, trash and garbage left in our vehicles. Having to vacate the facility for some made up reason that was not enforced across the board is infuriating. If everything in outside storage had to be out by the end of the month why was over 70 % outside storage still there after the 30th? Seems selective and targeted. I will not be recommending renting anything from uhaul. It was a great clean and secure facility until uhaul bought it.

I have an inside unit and was promised that I would always have light in the unit. When the hallway lighting was changed to a sensor and new fixtures installed, the inside light no longer functioned. I have called several times about the issue--left 2 messages through Customer Service for the location manager. Never called back! When I have had to switch the credit card on file and have overlooked updating my information, notification is sent out ti the emergency contact first rather that contacting the unit owner first. By the time the notification is sent to the owner, it arrives after the due date. Owner then has to pay late fees. Even after paying the late fees and visiting a week later, I still found the facility lock on the unit with a late fee notification. I definitely won't recommend this location--too many issues that don't get resolved until you are able to find a live person!

I love renting storage from U-Haul! I've always encountered a safe and clean environment with welcoming and friendly staff. I've not had a problem there at any of the facilities I have used that wasn't resolved quickly, with complete satisfaction. I have used U-Haul a number of times over the years in different places as my "go to" place for short or long term storage needs, and highly recommend it.

So I return the U-Haul 10 foot truck back and the transport dolly back , early, and I never received money back lie they told me

Twice, U-Haul called us to confirm our reservation and chose a city in Idaho instead of Utah, even though I had never requested a city in Idaho. Each time, I confirmed a dolley was part of the reservation and then when we opened the truck at our storage facility, there wasn't a dolley. When we finally went back and talked to the worker about it at the front desk, he said he never saw a dolley on our registry although the guy at our U-haul storage said he saw it and saw that we had been charged. Additionally, the U-Haul wasn't completely full of gas so when we had to fill it up to return it, we had to fill it all the way and when we told the guy at the front desk, he didn't offer a refund or anything. I was disappointed by how unorganized this experience was. I also wish we would've had the option to drop the truck off outside of store hours like we've been allowed to do before. It was just super inconvenient

I fell into hard times and was going through a divorce and I got way behind on the payment and didn't want to lose my belongings so I spoke with the manager and I was offered a deal to make a payment and then have my belongings out of the locker in 24 hours. Because of transportation problems I wasn't gonna be able to get there until the next morning and the manager said that was unacceptable, She also denied my offer to make the payment over the phone that very afternoon and then remove my belongings the next day. I realize that I was behind with the monthly payments but I believe that what I offered to resolve the situation was absolutely reasonable but U-Haul and the staff was bound and determined to confiscate my property and that's what they did and now I've lost everything which includes sacred belongings that was my late mother and father's that was gonna be handed down to my children to keep my parents spirit alive. That was very low and dirty to do to someone especially when I was prepared to comply with the offer made by U-Haul management and I told them I can comply but like I said, they had they're minds made up to keep my things.

Renting this storage unit was almost perfect! However, after paying for and getting my unit and then going to the unit it was already in use and locked from someone else. I had walked all the way back to the office and the employee had no idea how that had happened but proceeded to help me reserve another unit. The only unit available was a bigger one (10x10) and i had to pay more to get that unit. I believe that was very unfair how i had to pay more for something that wasn't my fault & how i had previously reserved that unit and it wasn't an obligation to make sure their system was up to date with who is using what units. It makes me feel very worried about my items safety.

The facilities were pretty good, and well kept, I'm a bit frustrated with the staff after I asked them how canceling worked and they incorrectly told me that it would cancel by itself if I don't do auto payment. It now obviously doesn't, and so I had to pay for another month

I will never use this company again. The late fees for being a couple of days late on payment are ridiculous . Just be aware on this! The people who live on site are super rude and unhelpful. This location was convenient to my home, but I would rather drive a ways to have better management and kinder treatment . There are much , much , much , better storage options out there!

HORRIBLE!! I recently auto-paid on this unit, which I have used for many years. But on closing the account they would not prorate the payment to cover only the few days used. This is a rip-off. I consider it a form of theft that will definitely affect the way I talk to others about U-Haul. A very sad, stupid policy that dramatically diminishes an otherwise good experience.

The storage unit and products I purchased were within my budget and me my needs. The overall experience rates five stars because of the staff. I worked almost exclusively with Sydney Brooks. I found her to be knowledgeable, professional, and very helpful. We had reserved a unit and upon arrival found out they had no units of that size available. They offered us two smaller units (combined size still smaller than what we needed) but wouldn't charge us the price of the one we had originally reserved but instead charged us the higher price of the two combined. First off though the door on the units were so small that we couldn't even fit a couch through it, and then when we looked in the first unit, there was still stuff in there. Very unprofessional. We should have been contacted prior to our move in date to be made aware that the storage unit we reserved wasn't actually available. It was all very unprofessional and we ended having to take our business elsewhere

The staff was friendly and kind. They were extremely nice and gave me all the information I needed with clear instructions. It was fast and easy for me. The only thing was one of the Employees of Uhaul pulled in and parked right behind me. He was dropping something off. I had to really make a tight 8 point maneuver to get by him. He offered to moved and just took longer than I could wait.

When I got to my unit little Resort is open and a pond trying to close the roll up door it got stuck and wouldn't go up or down took me about 30 minutes to figure out why it wouldn't go down after trying to call the office with no answer

The lady at the front desk was beyond frustrating. The facilities are fine. 24 hr access is available but cost extra.

The only thing I have to complain about is that I had to call about 5 times to get the lock off of my storage unit. It was my fault that I hadn't paid my rent so the lock was on there but I did pay it all in full and I went there 3 times thinking that it was off and it was not

Moved in on the first of September and moved out the 30th of November but was still billed for December even though I moved out before my stuff was even in there for a day. When I asked if I could be refunded I was told no. They even told me that they lacked the technical capabilities to refund a card which is a flat out lie. Be careful renting a space here. In fact, just rent somewhere else where ethical business practices are followed.

Sydney was an exceptional individual to work with. Got my storage shed assigned and when it turned out that the shed had a lock on it (for some reason) she got it taken care of lickety-split. The decision to make her manager was well-advised.

Horrible. Nobody told us that a trailer was stolen while ours was there. Our padlock was cut off and left on the ground. Our doors to our trailer were left open during rainstorms and still no one told us that it had been messed with.

I had been a long time customer that went thru many different associates there I had inquired on cost for an RV spot and had no problem with it Yet when I ask for a spot for an RV I'm told it must be registered , licensed and insured which was never part of the vehicle storage requirements I know that hardly any if any at all of the vehicles out back are licenced So I cleaned out my unit and found a cheaper place for storing my RV which I will use as my unit for now Doubt I will be back again any time in the future 5 to 7 managers come and gone in my time there and I get treated like a bulb off the streets No thanks

I didn't like that I had to get out of the car to swipe the code for the gate to open I was hoping to punch a coat without getting out of the car and the gate was open then I find out I had to buy a $50 remote. Other places you just punch a code and get in so that was a negative for me thank you

I was Not Told about a three day grace period when I checked in . This month I was 6 days late and got a 10 dollar fine . I can see being a week or more late . But 6 days is just plain greedy . I tried to set up automatic payments when we checked in and they couldn't do it . And told me to come back and do it later. The workers there are NOT well trained or professional. If you have no other option, go here . Otherwise , keep looking……

Ridiculous. We made a reservation for a 10x20 2 weeks ago. We came from out of state yesterday with all our stuff. I called 2 times in the morning confirming our reservation and asking a few questions. My parents went to get the unit for us as we were getting in town after office hours. When they got there they were told all that was available was a 10x15. Makes so sense since we confirmed a reservation for a 10x20. No one at any point told us "you have a reservation, but not an actual reservation" we asked for another smaller unit to compensate but there was nothing else available. You're "reservation" system is a joke, we felt completely screwed over. We had to scramble and find other locations to store things. We also had to spend about 45 more minutes unloading to fit as much as we could. A mess.

Only one person was there. Had to wait a long time to get help. But he was super nice. There are rugs covering cracks in the floor. There is a pretty big difference on either side of the crack. I almost fell and twisted my ankle due to the crack. The flooring should be addressed.

I was given a smaller sized locker than I reserved online which was frustrating. I needed to get that switched because there was no way my stuff would fit into the smaller locker. The person working there was able to switch it without any problems but I am not sure why I wasn't just given what I reserved. When I made the reservation online it said that I was eligible for the first month free for using uhaul previously. When I checked in at the office the person said that he couldn't see that discount and that I needed to pay for the first month. Again frustrating because what I was told online making the reservation was different than what I was told in person in the office.
