Received truck on almost empty but had to return it with a quarter tank of fuel. Received a 17 $credit for fuel, but it cost me 30 $just to bring it to a quarter tank. Had to ultimately pay for somebody else's fuelCody H.

You could enforce return times. The only thing that saved this experience was the person helping us - I think his name is Joe Furtado (it's definitely Joe). The previous renter did not return the truck on time and we thought we were going to have to wait 3 hours. This was a move from Worcester to Boston involving a number of deadlines. Three hours was going to be awful. Not sure what Joe did but we had a truck in about an hour. He was calm and helpful. Your online chat support needs better training in customer service. "Vivian" (as shown in your chatbox) was extremely rude and unhelpful when I was picking up a truck at 0530 in the morning after driving 23 miles away. She was unable to communicate to me properly so that I didn't have to stress, she lacks communication skills and does not appropriately help customers and does not problem solve. Sarah and Mary on the otherhand was great.Vincent L.
I reserved my Uhaul from 7:30 - 7:30 with an estimated pickup time of 9:30. We arrived at uhaul at 9:33 and were told that our reservation had been cancelled because it had been two hours. We received no call or notification that our reservation would be cancelled nor were we ever told that it had to be picked up within 2 hours. Why ask for an estimated pickup time at all?Brandon M.

When someone makes a reservation you keep the reservation and not cancel it twice in them and one time 10 mins before they are picking up the truck and then give them a truck half the size , charge them for twice the miles and twice the gas. I had to wait 2 hours to get my uhaul. Then I was not able to use a card because their machine was down so I had to come up with 300 dollars cash. This is because you have to give an extra 100 for cash. Absolutely ridiculous that what was supposed to be a 160 dollar uhaul turned into a 260 uhaul because of a company error. Manger there was awesome on the other hand.ZACHAREY S.
It was a busy morning and the young woman working the desk did a fabulous job. She noticed that there was a booking of a one way for an in-town and just carefully worked her way through it without being flustered or getting angry. Customer service rep has no personality no smiles no greetings. Put the rental in my 2nd drivers name and never closed out contract until I came in next day to remind him about it. (Nation wide shut down day before on original return date)...ROGER C.
The truck broke down in the middle of a four lane road. I was on hold with roadside assistance for 5 hours. A police officer pushed the car to a parking lot. The rental facility reply to all this....."not my problem". Never again!!!!KATHRYN G.

I can't help you improve your sevice since it gets worse every time I used to rent a lot until it got so bad I try to use enterprise only when I'm i a jam do I use uhaul I used to spend about 600 to over a 1000 in rentals depending on my busy season per month .I tried complaining it got even worse. I recommend enterprise rentals to my friends and family way better treatment .JOAO T.

The truck served its purpose...thank you. I am writing to bring to your attention that this rental and my previous rental both had less gas than what the contract indicated. Yesterday's rental indicated 7/8th's of a tank when in reality it was less than 3/4th's. I followed instructions and took a photo (U haul employee assisted me...so grateful) yet was billed 17 $dollars for gas (resolved today by customer service). The previous rental also was below indicted amount of gas. There was no employee to assists and I need the van so I just refueled it to what was on the contract. Hope this feedback helps.GREGORY S.

Filthy, old, and damaged truck. Remote check-in didn't work. The website just looped and didn't work. Customer service just hung up on you no matter what number you liked from the menu - EVEN emergency roadside assistance! And your â€œpolicyâ€ about calling one day before a one-way rental to inform the customer that you don't have the equipment and that they need to travel two hours round trip to pick up and old, filthy, broken truck is outrageous!!
