The truck I received had the seat welded in position so my knees were crammed under the dashboard. I was not informed that the 10ft. van did not have a ramp which I needed. Normally, I do not have any problems with this location as I have used it often. Today was a very different story.

Everything with the rental service was Absolutely Great. Upon return though - the app froze up upon attempting to complete a return of the trailer .the live chat wasn't much help either. AN associate came to assist & was so helpful.

Are usually go to the U-Haul because all the vehicles are well-maintained. The last U-Haul I rented was falling apart.

The trailer didn't have breaks and there was leaves in the trailer. They also forgot to give me blankets.

Have a detailed line by line charges before the rental agreement is signed. There were charges not fully explained by the service persons and as a result I was shocked by the final amount due after I returned the van.

Sign to drop off keys after hours should be way bigger. Was looking all over for it. Hard to see in the dark.

I came back to this location due to closeness to my house and how easy Bethany made the last transaction. However, the Sunday, 11/12 staff lead by Cecilia was less than helpful and treated me more of a distraction than wanting to make me a customer for life. A completely different experience than what I have had with Bethany in the past.

Bethany, the GM is great but the team I encountered this past Sunday was anything but desirable. They didn't want to help me, just wanted to treat me like a transaction and get me out of the way. I spent a lot of time doing their job and in turn they wasted mine.

I live in waterford michigan, i am very disappointed with your waterford michigan location. This location demanded i use ONLY a major credit card due to their high theft rate. No debt cards excepted for pickup trucks. So i had to travel an extra 15 miles to Uhauls Rochester location to rent a truck with a big bank debt card. This added extra miles/gas expense.

Only problem I had was with the UHAUL website and app. Every time I tried to load the requested pictures both before and after, it would crash my chrome session on my Android.

I have rented from this location several times but the truck I had this time was the most beat up I have ever rented. It was so loud I felt like the catalytic converter or muffler was missing. It seemed like the trans wasn't shifting correctly as well. I was pretty concerned that I was going to break down . Lucky I only had a small load and a short distance or I probably would not take the chance .

Truck leaked oil on my driveway and the only power port (aka cigarette lighter) was broken.

I was charged $40 for gas when I turned it in after paying $70 for a few hrs and a few miles drive. Being charged $40 for gas is insane and I will not be using this location in the future after many uses.

The truck smelled like marijuana and steering was very sloppy but other than that it was good.

Very organized and clean. The young lady at the desk was very polite and made the check in experience very simple. Both the person that connected the tow dolly and the person that helped with the return were very friendly. Great experience.

Post better signage where the office is and return area when turning in from Tienken. I ended up going to back office doors then get back in and go around to the front.

Facility is great overall, only feedback is the floors in the storage area. I appreciate them refurbishing historical buildings, but not coating/leveling out the concrete floor makes moving flatbeds full of stuff challenging because the floors are so bumpy! Otherwise the place is great and very well maintained, easy to access, and convenient!

So the truck has a bad brake rotors when I hit the brakes to slow down the whole truck will shake the steering wheel also is off and has a bad suspension. It was hard to control it on the freeway by only doing 55 mph. it was a bad experience the truck was worn out. Need a lot of maintenance, I was not happy with it.

Local uHaul store had no record of updated reservation made through regional scheduler, which I was told I had to use since I needed a truck for more than 24 hours. I had copy of original agreement, but they seemed very confused. My original agreement was for 36 hours, 400 miles. Local store set up new reservation for only 330 miles, despite my concerns. I told them clearly I needed 400 miles. Had to pay for additional 97 miles, when I only went over by 17 based on original agreement. Sales rep who checked in vehicle had no idea how to address situation. Told me I would only be charged $93 total, but I knew I was already changed $250 when I rented the vehicle. Truck should be retired - driver door barely shut with gaps making cabin very loud. Armrest was broken. Radio did not work. Center console was not glued down. Worst truck rented in 40 years of driving.

The key card never worked. After repeated tries to fix it, the best guess was that it was due to a U Haul server error. I finally got in using the access code. The double sign-in access process is unusual and a little confusing.

Highly recommend this facility for its security, hospital level cleanliness and friendly staff. The specific reasons are the security caught the fact I did not latch my locker correctly after having left, removed my lock, latched it correctly, put a temporary lock on, notified me to return at any time to put my lock back. It's impressive that amongst the thousand or so lockers security had caught my mistake showing they pay attention to the details. The staff I worked at the beginning middle and end were all friendly and helpful. Finally, the staff keep the place cleaner than a hospital and so well lit. I will rent space here again because of this experience.

The wait times to speak to someone on the phone are unacceptable. I waited over 30 minutes to speak to someone on two different occasions before I gave up and ended the call both times. I was inquiring about a letter I received from Uhaul regarding my unit. I wasn't able to go up to the facility to address the issue at that time. Might I suggest adding a question about the ease of contacting someone when not able to be at the facility in person.

An extremely unusual and hard few days of moving for myself and my sister but the staff there was extraordinarily helpful and friendly! Did not know about the 24 hour (clicker) option for storage units which would have prevented added problems for us, but in the end, we dealt with it. We had forgotten about the storage unit closing at 7:00 pm because we were exhausted and had to leave the truck there. still loaded and come back the next morning to unload and check out. Clean and well kept facilities and trucks… Will highly recommend! Josh McCool and manager Bethany were EXCEPTIONAL! Thank you!!!

Bethany went above and beyond, when there was a water leak although she assured that water didn't reach my unit. She wanted to make sure!! That is a great Manager!!! I rented a unit for almost a year , had no other issues. I would definitely recommend!!

My last two weeks at your facility was not very pleasant. First, I was assessed a late payment fee even though I had paid on time. That was fine since the manager explained that it was a glitch. However, I was locked out of my unit for the same glitch not once but twice which was very inconvenient and annoying for me. The 2 years of renting at your facility was without incident until this last 2 weeks.

Was not told online or over the phone that I would be on the second story of a building without an elevator. This created a huge hardship with heavy furniture pieces, but they did provide large carts to help minimize the carry distance (pretty significant). Was billed for my "free month" and will have to return to the store to discuss this..

Prices are too high for the amount of space provided. No garbage disposal bins provided at the storage facility. This is huge issue!!! Need to provide garbage bins in the intersections.

The manager of this facility is very nice. Bethany is always friendly and efficient with her work. I had storage the for a one and a half year. The facility is always clean and very convenient.

The only thing I did not like was the entry into storage was a bit difficult. The card and code sequencing for entry is tedious and confusing, usually leading to the alarm being set off. The good side is that staff was always available to override the alarm.

This was my second experience with uhaul, my 1st was in houghton lake mi. And this one in Rochester mi. I loved it there. It was cleaned,safe, lots of carts. And I love how you can drive your car inside to load or unload. the people where always very nice. Thank you and have a wonderful day.

So far so good everything is in a locker and safe and we’ll get there at some point but the guys who did all the lifting and caring and and storing it for me we’re excellent so I have nothing but good to say

We had rented a 10x15 unit and when we got to the actual unit there was already a lock on the door. Unfortunately we had already unloaded our truck and when we addressed this with the staff, it appeared that someone had rented the unit online and placement a lock on the unit. The location was unable to give us another unit and we had to repack the truck and find a different storage facility.

It was clean, bug-free, and environmentally controlled. My boxes did not get damaged by water and my items were protected from water and weather/temperature concerns. If I need storage again, I will use this facility.

Bethany was fantastic to work with and got me into the final unit of a particular size I needed and she did it fast! And she was extremely knowledgeable on recommending what size would be best for me! The unit was clean and I would definitely rent another unit if and when I need to!
